very bad service

Worst services. Even payment correctly done the correct date,but they will charged overdue charges. Fake bank..

A fraud branch at Lok Vihar

A fraud branch at Lok Vihar, pitampura, New Delhi.
They forge the signatures and then no responsibility even after escalation.
Pathetic Branch Manager, his Boss - his Boss - her Boss.
Theya say they don't have means to check or investigate. Though they issued Warning Letter. / Memo to the staff, can not understand on what basis they issued Warning to staff then.
Beware of your Accounts at this Branch.
I have been following up with the Management for the last 4 months since I discovered this Fraud in my Account

Very disappointing experience with IDFC…

Very disappointing experience with IDFC First Bank

My iPhone 16 was stolen due to which I immediately called Customer Care to inform them. During the call, I clearly requested them not to block my debit card as my salary date is coming and it will credit and the card was still in my possession. Despite this clear instruction the debit card was blocked without my consent.

After this they was informed that I must visit the branch and submit a letter to unfreeze my account and net banking. Accordingly, I visited the Ram Maruti Road branch (Pincode: 400602) on Thursday, 11th December. There, I spoke with Ms. Najma Ansari, who assured me that the account would be unfrozen within 48 hours. I submitted the required letter and also requested on a priority basis, explaining that I could not wait even 48 hours.

However, my account is still not unfrozen. Since yesterday, I have been continuously calling Customer Care for updates, and now I am being told that the maximum TAT is 5 working days.

The issue clearly originated due to a mistake by Customer Care, yet the branch staff seemed unaware that this case falls under their responsibility. Ms. Najma Ansari had me sit at the branch and call Customer Care again, after which a request was raised only when Customer Care confirmed it.

Overall, this has been a highly unprofessional and frustrating experience. There is a serious lack of coordination between Customer Care and the branch team, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience to customers.

I am fed up with the collection team…

I am fed up with the collection team and idfc services..i already completed my loan but they have put a fine of 30k+30k of ecs charges which is mpre than the iterest i already paid for the whole loan and this is just because of the collection team as they assured me that amount will not be deboted from account you can pay online .i done accordingly..but now when i wants to get my NOC the collection team,repeatidly getting msgs...idfc is harrasing me...if anything bad happened then idfc will be responsible..

Worst Bank employees

Worst Bank employees. Doesn't even understand customer problems. Only harrase customers if loan defaulter by financial problems. Bank just want money not customer problems. Don't even follow RBI guidelines.

AVOID NRO/NRE account Opening with this bank despite tempting returns

My experience with IDFC First Bank has been extremely disappointing. As an NRI, the service was of no real help — every time I contacted customer care, they simply redirected me to the branch.

The branch then made the process even worse by asking for unnecessary and irrelevant documents, dragging the process without clarity, guidance, or accountability. Instead of helping, the whole system felt stressful, disorganized, and more like harassment than customer service.

If you’re considering opening or managing an NRO/NRE account with IDFC, think twice. My experience has been slow, frustrating, and far from what an NRI customer should expect.

Do Not open NRE/NRO account with them please. I travelled to India and had my bank card handy to withdraw cash, I can’t use the bank card and can’t withdraw my money. Went to the bank and waited for 40 mins and then the employee said sorry sir I don’t know how to help you with this, now my money is stuck in the account and only way I could take that out is by transferring to another bank but ease of access my foot

Repeated salary credit delays & unresponsive NRI support – extremely poor experience

I’ve been an NRI customer of IDFC FIRST Bank for several months and it has been one of the most frustrating banking experiences I’ve ever had.

Every month, my salary remittance is delayed by 3–4 days, while my colleagues banking with other institutions receive their credits on the same day. I’ve raised multiple complaints (Case #1130707582 and #1133717272), yet the issue persists.

Relationship Managers keep changing, most are unresponsive, and at times I was left without any assigned RM for weeks. Every escalation — from customer care to the Principal Nodal Officer — leads only to automated replies and empty assurances.

For a bank that markets itself as “Always You First,” this level of service is unacceptable, especially for NRI clients. I’ve now decided to move my salary account to another bank that actually values customer trust and efficiency.

Beware!! Video KYC - Not Senior Citizen Friendly!!

Referred by a friend, I opted for your senior citizen savings account for my mother; everything was smooth until the video KYC, where it came as a surprise, the video KYC is NOT available in any regional language, and that, I can't support her in the KYC process. What a Joke!!

I was amazed by the digital experience journey of opening a savings account from the convenience of my home, only to be let down later as part of the Video KYC process, when the staff mentioned that Video KYC is available only in English and Hindi. Unbelievable!! Please mention clearly that Video KYC is NOT available in the local languages, so that it's not misleading as part of the account opening process. I would not have gone with the account, had I known this upfront. An AI agent will be able to do this Video KYC in any regional language.

What's the problem, if I support my mother in the KYC process and it gets recorded formally? The Video KYC for senior citizen, should allow one more translator/ relation to support, if you're truly serious about extending the digital experience to Senior Citizens. Even if I go to a branch, I'll have to support my mother for the KYC process.

Which senior citizen shall be able to independently apply for a digital bank online (or) go to the branch, without any support from their blood relations and friends?

Your senior citizen offering needs a true revamp. The closing line is that we’re disappointed by this digital KYC experience; and any Senior Citizen needs help, even in the banking process, including the video KYC.

The Bank is not suitable for NRI…

The Bank is not suitable for NRI customers. Majority of the Employees dont know the rules and regulation of NRO/NRE account which causes only Harassment to the Customer in every steps. I am immensely frustrated and will be closing the account. Please hire properly educated and knowledgeable personnel to deal with NRI customers.
