It was all very time consuming. Felt like wasting time to end up where I originally asked at the start of the chat. Almost 1.5 hours is very over the top just to get a new upgrade.

Honest worst people ive delt with, take ages to reply and will take money off anyone but only speak to main person surely your should only take payments from account holder that only matters when you complain, im paying for a service so I can ring out and message but a high percent of the time you can get service!!! Had to quit delivering because the network was that bad!! You get 3 days to pay your over priced bill before they cut you off but yet you can t get signal to make a call or send a text, absolutely overpriced terrible crap and they will reply to this saying something like " message them" on the socials their on and when you do by the time you get signal they ended chat!!!!!!! I live 2 miles from a 5g tower and get nothing , cant pay with 3 days of bill ( so weekends) cancel your service yet pay for a service you dont get, cant wait to pay my phone off to get rid off ID, worst provider ive had hands down, set to the date experience back last year because ive tried contacting them and all their good for is diverting. on esim too so if you like traveling without being able to contact any anyone or have permanent WiFi then these are for you otherwise don't bother , network is diabolical

Reliable, competitively priced mobile 'phone contract. 5G data is speedy and the data allowance is more than I've so far ever needed. I've also used the 'phone abroad in Spain and France without any problems.
Switched to iD Mobile recently and things were fine for about a week — then out of nowhere my data became basically unusable.
I’m now getting around 2 Mbps download speeds with 3–4 bars of signal. That’s not just “a bit slow” — apps fail to load, Reddit times out, and even basic browsing struggles. Hotspot is just as bad, so it’s not a device issue.
What’s frustrating is:
- It worked normally at first, then suddenly dropped off a cliff
- I was previously with Smarty (same Three network) and had zero issues
- I’ve reset network settings, changed bands, tested multiple locations — no improvement
- Customer support is effectively unreachable (live chat won’t even load)
This isn’t just coverage — it feels like something is wrong with how iD Mobile handles data or manages connections.
A mobile network shouldn’t go from fine to unusable overnight with no explanation.
Leaving after a week.
Avoid if you rely on consistent mobile data.
