Amazing service - would definitely recommend

I was very sceptical and a little nervous making a five figure purchase on a website however it was the best decision I could have made. From my initial enquires through to post purchase the I Do Now I Don’t team were amazing. This was even down to ensuring when I had a super tight collection window which involved me only being in the country for a few days the team made sure it all went to plan.

What was most amazing was there was a teensy hiccup (not related to delivery) and was honestly minuscule and not an issue but I raise it to highlight how responsive the team were and even the CEO contacted me to make sure my experience was a positive one. It really was very positive and I’m now looking forward to making my next purchase - honestly the best way to buy jewellery.

Sold my ring for $12,000

After trying to sell my ring for over 5 months I found I Do Now I Don’t. Ring sold for my asking price in only 2 weeks. This was also and expensive ring that sold for $12,000 so I was surprised how quick it sold. I just received payment and could not be happier.

I am also having issues with payment

I am also having issues with payment. I have sold 5-6 items and only once was payment received in a timely fashion.
I recently sold a pair of earrings to a repeat customer. She received them on April 24 and it is now May 10th and I still haven't received payment.
Calling customer service is as much fun as having teeth pulled, so I only email now. 2 orders ago it took well over 30 days after the customer received the item, several emails and phone calls to get the check cut .
While this has great potential, it does not live to what it could be for sellers. I have no idea what it's like for a buyer, as they seem to get the products.

Sold my ring and never got paid!!!

I listed my 1 carat engagement ring with I Do Now I Don't in November of 2017. I didn't get any bites initially and decided to see what they would offer me with a direct offer. I considered it too low and had them ship the ring back and lowered the price a bit on their site and decided to be patient. Finally, in February, I decided to just go with the direct offer after no interest from the site, but before I could ship the ring back to them, someone had purchased it from the site. I contacted the company to tell them to scratch the direct offer, it sold online. They said no problem and I shipped my ring to them on February 13th. I received an email from the company 2 days later on February 15th telling me it was received for the direct offer, only I didn't accept the direct offer, since my ring sold on the site right before I was going to sell it to the company. I emailed them again to make sure they knew it had been sold to a customer online and they assured me that was correct and apologized for the confusing email about the direct offer. I've been waiting now almost a month to receive my check from the sale, as it is March 11th 2018 and I have no ring and no money. I've emailed 3 times to a customer service rep who initially was responsive when I told her I had not received my check and asked politely if she could check the status and let me know when to expect it. I've emailed her twice since and she is now ignoring me and I have no idea when of even IF I can expect to get the money promised. I have not yet contacted BBB, but if this does not get resolved soon, I will be calling them. What began as a good experience has turned out to be a nightmare. I no longer trust, nor would I ever recommend this company to anyone.

Trustworthy company!

Trustworthy company!!
At first I was a little skeptical, you are sending an expensive item without any guarantee. However, I trusted the process and honestly when I was feeling uneasy I sent an email and a response literally only took minutes.

I would recommend I Do Now I Don't to absolutely everyone.

They lie on there immediate offers

I did the immediate offer through text message and they estimated $250-$300 for my wedding band with diamonds. I spent $25 to ship with insurance to them. Once they received it I got a direct offer of $100. I sent the text message picture informing them of my estimate. The lady responded with “it was lighter than we originally thought.” I also sent the paper appraisal through text and mail specifying everything to the “T” and they still want to make the excuse that they didnt know. Only good thing I experienced about this place was mailing my ring back fast.

We apologize if you feel you have been misled. To give an estimate for a direct offer on any piece of jewelry without seeing it in person is very difficult endeavor and one that no other company we know of does. However, we attempt to do this to create a better level of service for our clients. In your case, we did our best to give you an estimate, even though we did not have the weight of the gold (the appraisal that was sent did not include the weight of the gold). If you did send that information separately, we did not receive it and we apologize for that. Thank your feedback.

great company to conduct business with

great company to conduct business with. I have been using them for years with great results. Jessica and Julie always are willing to help with any issues. I admit I was worried at first to use the website but trust me they are legit. Great deals on buying and very fair on selling items as well.

I came across this website as I was …

I came across this website as I was trying to get rid of my engagement/wedding rings after my divorce. I read all the reviews, and determined this was the route I'd go - at least if it was a scam or something, I'd still be rid of the rings (yippee!)
I contacted IdonowIdont and Kristen wrote back to me the very next business day, outlining the process for me. I agreed to the process, and she emailed me a shipping label for the jewelry, along with a form I had to fill out and sign. The following business day, I mailed out the package. I kept note of the tracking number, and followed up with Kristen when the package arrived to her company. She told me that their processing department handles the intake of all packages, and that I would have a direct offer within 24-48 hours. The following evening, I received an email with their offer, and I accepted. At $700, their offer was way better than what I would have received at a pawn shop! I just had to fill out a paper saying I was basically selling the rings to them, and the next business day, I had an email with my tracking number for my check. 3 business days later, I had the check in hand! It cleared my bank with no issues, and I'm a happy customer! I would not have any reservations about doing business with this company again!

I would not trust this company

I would not trust this company. I sent my $15,500 diamond necklace to them for a direct offer and they only offered me $2000! I can get 2-3 times that much at Pawn America. The claims they make about receiving 1/2 to 3/4 of the value of your item is totally false. I listed it for 3/4 of the value or less and had no interest. They really pushed me to take a direct offer. Now I know why. They would make up to $10,000 off of me. I would not use this company. This is false advertising at its best. They need to be reported to the better business bureau.
Also in response to the companies post regarding my review, I would like the public to know that the omega chain that I had with the diamond was not purchased with my diamond. I purchased the diamond alone without any chain and had it set into a pendent. I sent I Do Now I Don't the ORIGINAL RECEIPT with my diamond showing the purchase price of over $15,000. They obviously try to discredit everything you say when they don't get the review they want. Their email also says they will reply with a direct offer in 24-48 hours. Right, try 7 days! I had to call them twice to find out what was going on. Better results with Pawn America and that is where I will go.

We typically do not respond to reviews, but in the spirit of fairness and accuracy we feel compelled to answer this one.

Our company is well established as a leader in the secondary market for diamonds and jewelry. Our reputation is built on tens of thousands of interactions and it's a fact that sellers frequently garner between 50-75% of the retail pricing by using our online marketplace. When someone lists an item at or above retail, as was the case here, we cannot help when little buy interest in shown.

Additionally, when the seller submitted her item to us for a direct offer, she did not submit the large gold necklace that accompanies it. She only inquired about the diamond pendant. Regarding our direct offer, we pride ourselves on making the highest offers possible. To illustrate that point, the full retail price of an exactly comparable diamond (both the seller's and comparable diamonds are certified) on Blue Nile retails around $7,000- $7,500. The seller states that they have an offer even above what the retailer is selling it for.

This is a wonderful site for purchasing …

This is a wonderful site for purchasing or selling your special ring or other fine jewelry! I recently purchased a used Tiffany & Co ring and let me tell you I got a smoking great deal and the seller was awesome. Idnid is easy to work with and responds quickly to any questions you might have. I have bought and sold on their site before and have always been pleased! The best part is is that you know what your truly getting as they verify your purchase to its true specifications that the seller listed! With some other popular sites out there your really on your own with a wing and a prayer that's it's what a seller says item is! I will always be using idnid for my jewelry.

Buying a ring for your fiance is tough

Buying a ring for your fiance is tough. She wants big, and perfect, you want reasonably priced. I didn't want to buy from a jewelry store where I knew I was paying 100% markup and I didn't want to go meet 20 people off of Criagslist until I found the right one. IdoNowIdont is the best of both. I actually selected a diamond and paid for it but IdoNowIdont inspected the diamond and let me know that the diamond didn't match what was advertised and credited my account when asked. I then purchased the perfect diamond for about 40% of what I would have paid at a jeweler. Thank you very much. I hope I never have to buy another diamond again, but IdoNowIdont was perfect.

Great First Time Experience

This was my first time experiencing the site and it was a positive one. The customer service was great.
The only drawback was not knowing that my check was going to be sent via FedEx rather than regular mail which was stated on the website. It would have been great knowing that information ahead of time as my check had been delivered two days prior to me picking it up on my porch.

You Really Can Trust This site

As a seller, I was really hesitant (and a little scared) to sell my wedding ring set online to a site where you have to send in your item Before you receive your money. But, I read the reviews, watched the various media stories, and knew that all these credited news and tv programs would not feature this site if it wasn't legit. So, I took a chance and listed my ring.

Their online customer service answered my questions, kept me up to date throughout the entire process, and even suggested what I should list the set for. I made more money selling the rings on this site than when I tried to sell on eBay. I'm very happy with I Do Now I Don't. And you will be too!

You can trust them

I recently offered to buy a ring on I Do Now I Don't. After the negotiations with the seller, I read that EGL appraisals, which this ring had, overstate the clarity and other aspects of the ring. So I worried that I had made a bad decision. Yesterday I got a call from I Do Now I Don't giving me accurate information about the ring. They advised that I could walk away or re-negotiate with the seller. I walked away. But I would go back to them again if I see another ring I like on their site, knowing that I am protected from fraud. I think every buyer would want to know they can trust I Do Now I Don't.
