The sections are too long to remember, what a person reads at the beginning to the taking of the quiz is to lengthy.

I enjoyed the course and learned a lot!
I'm a professional driver nearing retirement. I have been driving professionally for over 36 years, and have been trained in the Smith Defensive Driving Course. I have to say that I was skeptical that I would learn anything new taking this class, but I wanted to reduce my insurance rates. I was surprised that I did learn some new techniques over and above the Smith System, as well as updated information over the "top notch" Driver's Ed Class and Behind the Wheel Course I had back in High School.

Long, Comprehensive, and informative. Very worthwhile.
It is very interesting.
The technology works really well and it's great that I could do it from home at my own pace. The content is really out of date both in traffic data which is mostly from 2011 and references to features in vehicles. For just one example, it mentions car CD players in multiple places. There also isn't any audio or video so it's all reading and then taking quizzes. The slides cannot advance at a speed faster than they are set to be advanced (by law) and so despite taking notes and reading every word, I still spent at least half the time just waiting. I am teacher so I might be really sensitive to this but the quiz questions can be based in minutia that has nothing to do with safe driving. However, most of the quizzes are common sense and anyone who reads the text carefully will easily get the required percentages.

It is a great product and a great refresher. However, the timer at the bottom of each page is really annoying. Much time was wasted waiting for the timer and with the course being so long, taking over 8 hours, this was unnecessary time wasted. I'm looking foward to the insuance discount.

Easy to use app, learned things
Good class. Only suggestion would be to allow the participants to complete each section and move along without waiting for the time to run out. This added a lot of extra time to take the class that is not necessary.

Great refresher and updating new driving laws.
It was very thorough but repetitive at times. I didn't think statistics should be in the tests though as they have nothing to do with safe driving habits.

Not too difficult. Hopefully I get my discount.
Online take at your own pace. Able to retake any test if you get below 80%. Highly recommend it.
54 plus defensive driving course. Very nice to be able to take this online course. It is a personal paced course that allows you to pause and restart throughout the course. It is not moderated; you have to read each screen which wasn’t an issue for me. This course takes about 8 hours to complete. It covers everything you need to be a good defensive driver. If you don’t mind that it is not moderated I highly recommend it.

This instructional course is very thorough and easy to navigate through!
Overall, it is a great course. Some things are made way too complicated... like about 10 steps to change lanes! Some wording is also very confusing and complicated. And there are some things I would include that I don't think are in the course (I haven't finished yet!). But I am grateful for such a helpful tool for an older driver.

Course is thorough good refresher
A fair amount of content was repeated several times. Irrelevant content, e.g., content in the planning travel section. I did not like that you could not advance prior to the clock expiring. Every section I would finish reviewing the content and had a minimum 1 minute up to 2 minutes left and had to sit and wait.

We use the technique of repetition to help our students remember what was taught in the course. In addition, some timers are required due to state regulations to ensure that students are completing the required hours for driver education.
