(1) I ordered Supertramp's Crime of The Century deluxe edition 26 Feb 2015. Website stated shipping in 7-10 days. I emailed them after 18 days as I had not heard from them. Usual standard reply - thanks for your patience - waiting on supplier. I then noticed that the item in question was listed on their website as in stock - ships within 24 hrs. I emailed them to advise them of this and ask why they are not sending the item. Response did not acknowledge my question, only said, waiting on supplier. 2 more emails sent, still no valid reason as to why they won't send it.
Then finally after 49 days, they shipped the item (not the one they had in stock though). Another 16 days for shipping. A total of 65 days to receive the item, notwithstanding the fact that they had the damn thing in stock but it was "from a different supplier" so they were unable to send me that one??
Is that what you call customer service????

(2) Shipping. Their website states 4-10 business days. Lets say 2 weeks.
I have ordered many, many times from them. Usual shipping is at least 3 weeks to Australia. Most of their items ship via Hong Kong - a 6 hour flight to Perth?? Go figure.
and lastly,
(3) Don't waste your time pre-ordering. The idea of pre-ordering is that the seller can "pre-order" from the supplier and have stock ready to ship on release date. Not WOWHD.
I ordered Whitesnake - The Purple Album release date 19 May. Surprise, surprise, it is now the 21 May and the website states "ships in 7-10 days. What's the point???

In summary, as many others have said, good prices and their 15% sales always get me in, but in reality, unless you are prepared to wait at least 4 weeks for your CD's, shop elsewhere.

Still waiting for my pre-order (ordered 11 May) of the Whitesnake - Purple Album. Release date 19 May. It's now 2 June and still not shipped.
15% discount or not, I'm afraid they've lost another longstanding customer.

I have used WOWHD/CDWOW for many years now, but must say that over the past few weeks I have had an absolutely horrendous service. Several things have gone wrong, and have had absolutely NO assistance Customer Services people. To the point now, where they have taken my money and I have no CDs
The list of complaints is LONG
Order item 6 weeks ago, still have yet to receive this item, 51/2 weeks after despatch, a subsequent one was eventually re ordered, but as yet has not been despatched, so have cancelled.
I again ordered another item 6 weeks ago and again, has not been received, then I contacted Customer Services (after 21 days), as yet, haven't even had a response!!!!!
Have 2 other items which I also still haven't received, but not allowed to do anything as within the 21 days!!!!
Two more items were not even despatched after a month, contacted Customer Services, who informed me that I could wait (possibly up to another 2/3 weeks) or cancel. I chose to cancel. THREE days later had no response, when I contacted again, was informed THIS MORNING (15th May) that I could not cancel as they were in the process of being despatched. Well they were not three days ago when I cancelled, I have now been told that i have to wait for these and will not be refunded - one of them shows as not even being despatched on my order list!!!!!
Beware, they seem to have turned into Scam Artists!!!!!

I have bought a lot of CDs from Wowhd. I have never had any problems earlier. A bit long delivery time but all CDs finally have arrived. However the last couple of months something has happened. I get these e-mails about delays; the first after a month and then every fortnight. It ends with me cancelling the order. This thing happens with about 50 % of my orders.
I am now waiting for the latest album by Mark Knopfler: Tracker. It should be shipped in 7-10 days according to Wowhd website. I ordered this on April 20th. Still waiting for an e-mail about shipping.

the only good thing about this place is the prices compared to other internet shops. My cd took exactly 3 weeks to come and the jewel case was cracked in 3 different location. I didn't want to return it because the cd inside was intact but i was pretty annoyed. wouldn't really recommend it to anyone.

Brought a lot from wow hd and never had any problems as long as you buy stuff in stock and not stuff that is back order you we be ok just make sure a great service

They are cheap with no delivery fee, but you wait crazy times to get your goods.
I have been waiting 32 days for a DVD that was supposed to be in stock and has still not been sent.
They have gave me 4 different time frames when it would be sent and have met none of them.
They are giving me a bunch of garbage about suppliers not being reliable, baring in mind this item was supposed to be in stock.
I am not even sure I will receive this item, I wish I had payed another $10 to buy through Amazon or some place like that, big mistake on my part.
Do not use this company, I don't know if it a scam or just a terrible company, either way avoid like the plaque.

I ordered 4 dvds as Christmas gifts for kids on December 6 and it is now January 5 and only 2 have arrived. They waited until December 17 to even list them as dispatched and that is only after I contacted them on December 16. I told them that I needed them in time for Christmas and they did not say that it wasn't possible, or would take months based on the other reviews that I've read. I would have cancelled them and shopped elsewhere had I known.

Ordered music almost 2 months ago well in time for Christmas ,received part of the order after waiting just on a month ,however two items did not arrive as they were shipped later as they were apparently on backorder .After much email to support they gave me the option to refund in vouchers the product snot sent or resend them as they apparently went missing .No Option to refund to my account was given considering I also paid transit insurance .When you try and use the voucher postage gets added which you would not have to pay if the order in question had been completely delivered the first time around .Will not use them again and very much doubt they will even deliver against the voucher they issued .Support desk seems powerless to assist and just tell you to wait a few more day's most of the time.

It seems as if this company takes orders for goods that it does not have in stock (which is illegal in the UK), and then places orders with it`s suppliers in China or elsewhere.
The result of this is that you can wait 2 months or more for delivery! they then fob you off with mails telling you that there is a delay with your order, then in the worst case a mail saying that their suppliers cannot complete the order and they have cancelled it.

Will never use this company again. For my first ever order with them under their new WowHD banner I pre-ordered the new Pink Floyd cd which was due out on the 7th November, and so expected to receive it on the 8th of November. Got an email saying that they didn't have the stock. It was not even DESPACTHED until the 15th November, and 6 days later I'm still waiting for it.

Read on another site that other people had the same problem with this pre-order, so maybe they should make sure they check before selling things.

In future will stick to Amazon, over hundreds of orders I have NEVER had a problem with this company. It's a shame because CD-Wow used to be very good, by Wow-HD are obviously in problems.

I have ordered cosmetics on their website. After arriving (yes, it did take a long time) the packaging was different from the previous original packaging. After contacting the manufacturer the following two aspects were revealed:
1. WowHD is not an official reseller
2. The product was indeed a counterfeit!

After this I immediately contacted them, but as expected no answer. So please be careful with this fraudulent business as they are only out for your money!

Great Prices majority comes via Hong Kong, expect up to a month delivery any sooner is a bonus ( I am in New Zealand so far away). If not received complain, they ask you to check with Post Office, which I do anyway, and will replace free, but I have brought a.lot off them and I am honest. I think the good record was the factor logically. To date CD, DVD, BluRay and After Shave all good well packaged and delivery in acceptable time for FREE delivery. I am always recommending to friends and acquaintances.

Poor packaging, poor product quality, poor return information and poor after sales in general.

- Double LP (€34) sleeve was damaged upon arrival.
- Additional border fees of €20 as it turned out the LP had to come from the US (not mentioned anywhere!).
- LPs themselves were so wobbly I had to return it.
- Return postage costs not fully covered (€10 of €13)
- Inadequate return information resulted in a bounced package.
- Was asked to send it back again through another way with additional costs for own account.

Decided to take my loss (€57) and never order again at WOW HD. Be warned!!

This is actually the help I got after six weeks. Its now 2 months and im going to visa to get my money back.

Very low price and the shipping is free ! Only 4 days delivery !! AMAZING !!!

Has a nice catalogue of products, great prices, and free shipping everywhere.
However, the orders are sent from Hong Kong with no tracking.

I've never had any problems, though. Some delays during xmas time, but always received my orders.

Ordered two CD's from this page, but they sent it off to the wrong address and I therefore never recieved my order.
