He still owes me c. £2500 for services and products paid for and not supplied in 2023 and then he conveniently went into liquidation so he could walk away.

Avoid “Inspired Gardens Ltd” at All Costs - A Nightmare Experience

I strongly advise against hiring Inspired Gardens Ltd or Inspired Home and Gardens for any landscaping work. My experience with this company has been a nightmare, resulting in heartache, frustration, and significant financial loss.

In summer 2020, I hired Inspired Gardens Ltd to transform my garden but by February 2021, the tiles they installed were already loose and moving underfoot, posing serious safety concerns. Despite their initial attempts to repair the issues, the problems continued. After significant delays, they agreed to redo the entire garden, but this only led to further complications and stress.

Following advice from BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries), I waited for them to finish the work, a process that dragged on for almost a year, exacerbated by Brexit and Covid. By 2022, I was forced to commission an independent survey, which revealed that most of the work was poorly executed and violated building regulations. The company accepted responsibility for the shoddy workmanship, but their proposed solutions were completely inadequate and rejected by both BALI and myself.

After a year of back and forth disputes, I was devastated to learn in the summer of 2023 that Inspired Gardens Ltd had declared bankruptcy. I then discovered that Julian, the owner, had already set up a new company called Inspired Home and Gardens, operating from a new office but with the same phone number and staff.

Julian's communication has been terrible throughout this ordeal. Despite several email exchanges where he promised to address the problems when it suited him, he has failed to follow through. My last email to him, sent in May this year , asking for a meeting to review the garden’s state, remains unanswered to this day.

Everything in my garden is in disarray - sinking patios, loose artificial grass, barbecue area and water feature. The entire project is a complete failure, and I have finally accepted that I will never see any of my money returned.

Please, steer clear of this company. Their disrespectful customer care, appalling workmanship, and total disregard for their clients’ well being are reasons to avoid Inspired Gardens Ltd and their newly formed Inspired Home and Gardens, at all costs. Don't let them turn your garden into a nightmare like they did mine.
