Don't waste your time, money or frustration on this company

"Save your time, money and frustration and do not buy from this company. I bought a continuous ink system from Inkproducts.com over a year ago and it's been a headache ever since. When I received the initial system as soon as I took it out of the package there was ink leaking from the bulk tank even though there was no apparent shipping damage. When I called the company I received the 3rd degree. They treated me like it was my fault. They did mail me a new system but this time when I received it, after I hooked it up I couldn't get 1 of the cartridges to hook into the printer correctly. When I'd put my original cartridge in place it worked fine but when I'd switch to the new ciss cartridge it still would't hold in place. All kinds of ink leaking out and a huge mess. Called the company again and according to them again it must be something I was doing wrong. They mailed mailed me a new cartridge and all was great for about 6 months. When I went to refill/prime 1 of the color cartidges it wouldn't fill/prime. Called to see if I could just buy a new cartridge to replace it. The tech that I talked to was very nice and sent me a whole new set of cartridges, which was great but when I went to use them none of the chips were the correct ones. They did send along new chips for me to replace and I did but I never could get my printer to recognize the proper ink levels and started getting all kinds of error messages, etc. Finally put in my original cartridges and could at least print then even through the error messages. Called InkProducts to ask them how to get everything to reset. Was told I would receive a call back. After 1 week and no call I called again. By that time and a lot of searching on the internet I had found how to bypass the error messages to get it to print and was using the new cartridges, however by then the same color that I had problems with before started acting up again. It was apparent that the hose of that color was clogged. When I called again and asked how to get the clog out or could I buy new tubing I was told that I couldn't just buy the tubing but that a tech would call me to talk to me about the clog...which they just couldn't believe it was anything due to their product but that maybe I didn't know how to prime it correctly. After a week and a half and no call back I gave up on this company. Was the final straw. Kicking myself that I didn't push to get a full refund at the very beginning when they shipped me a defective system. I know accidents happen and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and try to work through it. Right....$140 bucks wasted not to mention the clothes, paper and time cleaning ink off everything. I've refilled my own cartridges for many years before buying this system and NEVER had clothes ruined, ink everywhere like this. "

Super duper excellent products and service!

For two years now I've used Inkproducts refillable cartridges and dye base ink in my Epson Workhorse WF-3520. I have saved SO much money over purchasing manufacturer or second-market ink cartridges. Pennies on the dollar! And Inkproducts answers their phone live if you have any questions! They'll even help you pick a printer when you are shopping for one of those because they know and have used and tested every last one of them! How can I recommend them highly enough?

Great Communication

I had a problem but when I sent e-mail, I got GREAT RESPONSE back to call them. I did and they took their time to help me out and never once did I feel they were just pushing me aside or that their time was more important than me their customer...

Don't waste your time and money

The product works for the first go around. Once the ink runs low, they will never work again. Wasted too much time and money, not to mention ink all over the place. Don't try refilling your ink through this company. The first time I had an issue, they sent me new cartridges which worked. However, once they ran low it was the same thing all over. It all sounds like a great idea, but it doesn't work. When I finally spoke to the owner and I was a little "upset" he faked like he was offended by me and hung up on me.

BAD COMPANY

"One of the worst companies. I ordered their refillable cartridges. 2 cartridges came DOA. I emailed them, and they replaced. Which I thought was good. But their products are poor quality. It didn't last even 6 months. 6 months after, I have 3 bad cartridges. I called back and the rep was not even willing to help to see what she could do. All she said was that I would have to repurchase new ones before the chips on their old ones were bad. At this rate, I will be spending more money on cartridges than the ink itself. I would not ever recommend purchasing from this company. Buyer Beware"

Saved me a lot of money!!!

I bought the HP Deskjet 1010 from Walmart for $25.00. I also bought the Continuous Ink System in all black (HP 61) from Ink Products for less than $50.00. I looked up' Best Ink' on You Tube to watch how to install the Continuous Ink System for my HP 1010 printer and watched the video which was in all Korean. I found their tutorial to be the most helpful that was done on YouTube by "Best Ink." I would have bought from Best Ink but they seem to not be available in the US only in Korea. I was able to use the information from that video as well as the video from Ink Products to install my system correctly so that it works for me. I also bought some Museum Putty off of Amazon.com to secure the bottle from tipping since the bottle has to stay open to allow air to flow. I use my printer for homeschool worksheets and also for coupons all the time and have barely made a dent in the ink. I HAVE made a dent in the paper I use though, and will need to buy some more printer paper soon, but not ink!!! Yay!!! I did see that Ink Products sells the inject-able ink refill system as well, which I did not see until after I already purchased the all black system. The inject-able ink refill system is both black and color and was the same price but you get color as well, mine is only using black, but works for me for what I need it for, but I do wish that I would have seen the color inject-able ink refill system first because I would have bought that one instead. I hope this helps someone. I am on a tight budget and this Continuous Ink is one of the best money saving inventions that I have found on my internet searches because of how much I COULD potentially pay for ink doing my normal everyday printing. NOTE: I never had to call the company so I cannot say anything about their customer service. I just researched the Continuous Ink System and Ink Products is the only one that I could find that has a system for my cheap printer. I did see the bad reviews before buying from them, but I felt confident after watching YouTube videos from 'Best Ink' that I could install it correctly and that it was worth the risk based on how much I would now be able to afford to print. I also did have to install it a little differently than both videos because of the materials given to me from Ink Products. I followed the Ink Products video when I had to but I tried to install as the Korean video showed as much as possible. I used the silver tape from Ink Products because the black plugs in the Korean video were not available to me. I also had larger sticky things for "hose travel" so I followed the Korean video most of the way. The very first one next to the cartridge was too big so I left that one off but I turned the hose in the direction it would have gone if it was attached to the sticky thing then the rest I put where they showed in the Korean video, which was on top of the inside of the printer behind the black door. I then clipped the hose on the bottle up onto the clip because it sits without tipping that way. I did not loop it back down in the clip like in the Ink Products video though. I hope that Ink Products changes to the same install system as Best Ink but in the meantime this works and it is a real blessing to me and my family, so I would have to say a BIG THANK YOU TO INK PRODUCTS!!! (And my daughter for proofreading this)

Go someplace else!

“BUYER BEWARE!!! inkproducts.com is a poor excuse for a business. I called on the phone to talk with them and bought my printer based on their recommendations for the most compatible printer with the continuous ink system. I had nothing but problems with this system. Poor print quality, product failure, did not work as described, incomplete information and excuses as to why this was my fault. I received no response from inkproducts.com after I voiced my displeasure. buy at your own risk!”

Very Happy!

Not a widely known company (at least I hadn't heard of them) so I was skeptical to order from them. I called first and spoke to a lady that put my mind at ease about a few things. They allow PayPal payments so I felt additional security using it. However, everything was great. Shipped quickly, setup was fairly smooth, and the CISS has been going strong for a few weeks now. Only negative is that the included directions didn't include the step of pinching the ink cable while taking off the cartridge covers and placing them in the printer. That led to a little bit of a mess and I had to watch one of their youtube videos to figure it out! Take the negative reviews here with a grain of salt. Most happy customers won't leave reviews while the angry ones always do. I'm betting you'll have a good experience if you're thinking about purchasing from them.

WORST PLACE I EVER DEALT WITH

This is in regards to INKPRODUCTS.COM. They are the WORST place I have ever dealt with and sell products that do not even work at all. I bought some ink cartridges from them that won't even plug into my printer. I have sent them back and they just send the sames ones back that do not even plug into my printer and say it is the fault of my new printer even though the factory ones work perfect. The tech support and customer service (same person) lie about the missing key protrusions and say their new cartridges have them (but they send back the same ones you returned). AVOID this seller or expect to be arguing with an old lady that even hangs up on you. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Crap Customer Service - Substandard products

I purchased a continuous ink system for one of my Epson printers and refillable cartridge system for another. Six weeks after installing the system the black print head started to clog and progressively got worse. I went to my back-up Epson when cleaning efforts failed. That black print head was also clogged and couldn't be cleaned. Their web site says "clog free guaranteed." I contacted them via the webpage and asked for the details of their "guarantee," and briefly described my problem. I inquired about ink compatibility across the Epson line. Their answer:
"our inks do no clog but the Epson print heads can dry out causing that problem if the are stored and not used. Epson printer must be used almost every day or at leased run some print head cleanings."
Two supplemental emails went unanswered. Apparently the clog free guarantee is nothing but a marketing ploy to suck you in. It is totally unsubstantiated. Customer service? NOT!

Saved me a lot of money!!

I ordered a set of refillable cartridges for my HP printer along with some filling accessories. No problem with ordering or shipping. The best part is I have been refilling my own cartridges for over a year now and it has saved me a LOT of money. I can’t see any difference between the quality of the printing between their ink and the HP factory cartridges. I have highly recommended this company and their products to friends and family.

Faulty product, DO NOT BUY

I spent $300 with them before giving up and going to a different supplier with products that actually worked. I was never able to determine if it was the cartridges they supplied or low ink quality. Support just kept stringing me along always blaming the printer. In addition to the $300 I spent on them they had me buy two printheads, claiming that was the problem, another $160. Worst online company I ever purchased from.

Avoid these crooks.

Customer Service Review

I ordered a Canon CIS from them, and they canceled my order because they insisted that I have a Canadian shipping address.

I told them through multiple emails that the BILLING ADDRESS was Canadian. They shipping address was in Michigan.

I tried calling several times, with no response.

No response to repeated emails, asking for an update.

Terrible customer service.

When I finally got through, they insisted that it was my fault, and they would not update the shipping information.

Whatever.

Going to try earthinkjet.com. It is a bit more money, but seems like a superior product.

Junk

This product does not work as specified. My printer when it says it is empty stops working. I have to turn it off and one and/or push ink down the tubes by moving the reservoir up. Don't buy this product. Also the tube lines keeps on getting jammed with the printer head. Finally, I accidentlly left the reservoir up too high and all the ink drained and ruined my printer. Just go out an buy a laser....

Poor Quality

Got my system and it worked good for 2 months then inexplicably the black started looking like bronze. Emailed customer service blamed the printer, then the paper and everything else. Wouldn't help me out- told me to buy more black ink from them. Bought black ink from another company which solved my problem but now the light cyan cartridge isn't recognized. Does not stand up to 100% satisfaction guarantee and in my experience the quality is poor.

Horrible product and service

The customer service is absolutely horrible. I purchased a set of cartridges that were faulty out of the box. Though I called the service number dozens of times, the phone was never answered and there was not even a message service. When I finally got a response via e-mail, I was told that they would not warranty the product (because it had now been too long) and suggested I buy a replacement part myself! Don't buy from this retailer!!! You will get scammed!!!
