Avoid this school if you child has special needs
We had high hopes for this school when our first child started there with special needs as they had a large SEN department. Now we know different. We have had no end of issues with the school not adhering to the SEN agreements for our child (mainly due to so many staff coming and going) and now he refuses to go to school and we have had to seek independent counselling for him. My daughter has just started there and she has dyslexia and ADHD and now she is refusing school and we have found out that again nothing that was agreed before the start of school has not been implemented. The head of SEN has also refused to apply for an EHCP even though CAMS our GP and others have said he needs one, so we have been forced to do it ourself and the school are now dragging their feet to give us the info we need. This place is appalling and I will ensure any other parents out there are aware of this before they decide to move their kids here with special needs.
