We had to have a new boiler installed and because our old one was a Baxi and set in a fireplace, the only place we could fit the new boiler, was in the loft and it was an Intergas one. It was serviced no problem last year by Intergas without any problems. The service engineer was great. So we booked and paid for the service who were also going to fix a leak under warranty. We a different engineer came today and within a couple of minutes said he can’t service due to health and safety. He said the heavy duty flat rung loft ladder was unsafe. I said you must be having a joke. He said no, took some photos and left. I have worked in the building industry for over 30 years and that is 100% something I would not call an health and safety issue. He could have comfortably stood on the flat rungs or use a pad for his knees and worked on it.
Also just a while ago we received an email with a report from the engineer to say Warning do not use and stating there is no access to boiler. It’s absolutely brilliant access. If this engineer worked for me, he would not working with me for long.

Communication was dreadful. It seems Amazon makes all sorts of excuses for them. But there are too many 1 star revues. One of those companies that when they do as they say they will all is ok. But when not!!! Trade as LPG Supplies. I wonder if my goods with the fake tracking number will ever arrive. It is not true that my messages had a response with the last saying you would check with the warehouse. You could have offered to re-ship or investigate where the shipment was. I couldn't reorder because the money was not refunded to me at that point. VERY VERY Poor

The first person I spoke to, Alysia, was really helpful and answered my query quickly and efficiently. When she needed to transfer the call, she explained why. Throughout the process she remained really friendly and courteous and it was a pleasure to deal with her. The engineer,Colin, was fast and efficient, was on time and explained the process in a way that was understandable.
Vince the engineer really saved me from a cold and miserable Christmas without heating. He went the extra mile in ensuring that the pump on my central heating boiler was replaced and that the system was up and running again. Very much appreciated - thank you.

Colin Jones was absolutely AMAZING. He fixed a problem with my boiler that had been there since it was badly installed by a heating engineer 5 years ago. It was done quickly, thoroughly and with minimal mess. He talked me through the entire process and serviced the boiler at the same time to ensure it was safe and the longevity of the boiler would be preserved. He was on time, professional, kind and considerate.
Vince quickly found out the problem with my boiler and repaired it by replacing the fan plus a new seal. He also cleaned the heat exchanger and checked over the boiler generally. Kerry arranged the call out efficiently and helpfully.
Excellent customer service from Kerry in Customer Services and Vince, their expert boiler engineer who visited my home. I cannot fault the service they gave me, backed up by an excellent website and efficient and friendly telephone service. I highly recommend Intergas.

HOWEVER, trying to make contact with Intergas Technical Department is and always has been a nightmare with waits on hold of 15 to 25 minutes listening to continually repeated statements “your call is most important to us etc” being being the norm. Absolutely hopeless for a busy customer or installer. Once through though the staff are knowledgeable and most helpful. A written email complaint to the CEO was ignored along with two reminders. A hopeless backup and accessibility problem exists within Intergas.
Our local heating engineer identified a problem with our 2 year old Intergas boiler at its annual service. He phone the technical dept at Intergas and was advised a home visit was needed. A very pleasant and helpful lady from Intergas phoned back the next day with an appointment for the following day. At the engineers visit the problem was identified and sorted within an hour. Couldn’t be happier with Intergas’ service. Thanks to the girls in the office for making such a speedy appointment and to engineer Mark for his excellent work! Much appreciated!
Great Service: called Intergas technical on Saturday morning and office closed, went through to book an appointment and the customer service agent was great and took my number and told me a technical engineer would give me a call back shortly. Sure enough Colin called me within 10 minutes and assisted me greatly with my technical issues. All round great service. Thank you Colin for calling me on your day off. 5 star service
