This company has one good product-their advanced system cleaning software. Unfurtunately, then you get stuck with all their other products. Some of the other ones are OK< BUT, the default position installs junky prgrams like their computer backup and their desktop management -both of whcih are pure JUNK!!! It is SUPER EASY TO MISS THE CLICK TO MAKE SURE THOSE ARE NOT INSTALLED, AND THEN IT IS VEYR HARD TO GET BACK TO WHERE YOU STARTED!!! Next year I will not have anything but the systemcare. It also automatically signs you up to pay every year to renew. I HATE THESE FEATURES!

BEWARE - THERE MAY BE SPOOF IO-BIT SITES
I posted a few months ago on trustpilot site IO-Bit-Software ld.iobit.com. I needed to renew my subscription for Advanced System Care which is listed at iobit com en advancedsystemcarefree php Renewing resulted in being bombarded with IO-Bit pop-ups and downloads, some of which tried to install unrequested. There are lots of similar comments on that trustpilot site. Payment was taken by IO-BIT Netherlands.
I managed to kill and remove all of the items (so I thought), but a security scan found and killed 2 trojans. I thought I had got away with it, but my system got slower - something I blamed on system updates. This week my system became unusable. Task Master shows >90CPU, >90% memory and >90% disk use within moments of start up. Adding up the listed tasks show 1GB of 4GB used. I wonder what those trojans did?
I had successfully used Advanced System Care for 10+ years. I was expecting a renewal notice. I was not expecting the havoc which followed. Maybe I was scammed by a clever spoof.
I note that IO-BIT monitor and respond to posts on this site. I suggest they read other "IO-BIT" trustpilot sites, they need to be aware if someone is faking IO-BIT products. If they become aware, it would be useful to post a warning and if available a fix for the problems created. I had always regarded Advanced System Care as a good product - I dare not use it again until I resolve what happened.

So basically this is a multi computer program service from checking your drivers to defrag, boosters and uninstallers. Now each comes with a price either FREE or paid, regardless they all come with pop ups.
I chose to uninstall this product because it said 'only one driver update per day' which with a new install of windows 11 and a shed load of out of date and non working drivers was useless.
That's when it gave me the option of removing or a free version, I chose the free version, EVERY driver I needed was installed without any issues.
YES I do get the occasional pop up, like today for example it was a St Patricks day popup, but so what its FREE.
Great product, and a great help.

I am a paid customer and used Driver Booster on Windows 11. After updating a core system driver, my entire system became completely unusable.
This was not a normal update — a wrong driver was installed apparently from their application, which caused Windows to fail so badly that restore, repair, and reset options did not work at all. I was forced to reinstall Windows from scratch, resulting in the loss of all my data.
I contacted IObit support, and their response was shockingly unhelpful. They simply asked:
“Have you tried to reboot the system?”
That was the extent of their support for a catastrophic system failure caused by their software.
For a paid product that claims to safely manage drivers, this is unacceptable. Updating critical system drivers without proper safeguards is dangerous, and the support response shows a complete lack of responsibility.
Use with extreme caution — especially on production systems.

They're decent and I used to use them right up until the time pop up started ruining my gaming experience and getting me killed. You could be in the middle of an online game and I'll bet will send you a pop up to buy a new product, and it never ends. I spoke to them directly and they said there's nothing they can do about it. I canceled all my renewals and uninstalled everything by them. Do not touch this product!
Added 2/13/26: look at the response from iobit, they're trying to sell me more stuff. That's all they care about. As far as them addressing my experience and issues when I spoke to them on the phone they said there is nothing they could do or will ever do about it. So basically they're lying now.

I have a dual monitor win 11 system with the secondary monitor on the top and spent a lot of time arranging my desktop icons on both. This was a slow process because sometimes I use a single monitor (laptop display) and other times a secondary above the laptop.
I ran IObits updater which seemed to work; but when I did a restart, things went very bad.
1. All my display icons on the top monitor were moved
to the bottom (primary monitor) with a shift to the left as if my secondary monitor was to the left. In addition, the size of the icons on those moved were only partially visible! And the size of the icons on my primary display icons were greatly decreased in size and moved to the upper left corner.
2, I tried to use settings to fix the problem but never succeeded. I decided to restart my laptop but this was a real disaster. Now, IObit's changed my top monitor to the primary monitor. Of course, I thought I could fix this but when I executed settngs the settings window came up in my laptop monitor AND I COULD NOT MOVE MY MOUSE POINTER OUT OF THE TOP MONITOR (a "catch 22").
3. I was now unable to restart my laptop AND UNABLE TO TURN THE POWER OFF WITH KEY BOARD KEYS.
4. I finally used the emergency power off (under the laptop) to power off. Then I tried the "IObit restore system"that was created by IOBit updater -- this failed! I then used one of my earlier Windows restore points to recover an earlier version of my system -- this worked!
5. I then again worked on my monitor icons to fix the layout of both monitors.
My conclusion and suggestion: DO NOT USE IObit SOFTWARE until they learn how to handle multi-monitor windows 11 systems. After programming in many languages, different projects and teaching programming, I conclude that IObit has some "amature programmers" and are clearly not testing their software on multi-monitor systems.
Finally. I have removed ALL IObit software from my laptop. I suggest that you be very careful with IObit software if you are switching between a single monitor and another monitor

Firstly, I am an IT professional of 40 years.
I have been looking for a quicker way to update the drivers on all of my PCs (I have around 15-20 personal PCs). I read a review of the IObit Drive Boost, which received mixed reviews, but I thought that I would give it a go anyway. I wish I hadn't!!! The free installer downloaded and I duly installed the program. I am so glad that I captured the installation via a snapshot utility that I own. This garbage installed an additional two programs and you are not warned of this!! Some kind of desktop enhancement which completely messed up my desktop icon layout.
I have removed everything and will not be considering a purchase of this rubbish again. Fortunately suspecting the worst, ie this is a malware installer I performed a full virus scan using proper software. Please may I advise anyone thinking of installing this software to stay clear. Additionally the uninstall leaves remnants of this on your system epecially in your users folder.

Do **not** use the free version or even the licensed version of **Driver Booster** under any circumstances, because it will damage your system and drivers!
Based on **[Ticket-KJEB-83909-6663] Driver Booster™ PRO**, from the very first day I purchased the license and started using the software, I experienced issues that initially seemed minor. Overall, this program is meant to update your system drivers, and it’s not something you’re supposed to use daily or even weekly.
After I reported the issue to support, they only kept saying: **“You should ask for a refund within 60 days.”** They expect me to somehow plan when their software will start showing problems!!! Believe it or not, you cannot plan or force faulty software to show its bugs within 60 days after purchase.
What was the problem? After some time, around the **4th or 5th use**, a serious issue occurred that caused my laptop to stop booting properly (it would turn on, but nothing would load). A perfectly normal day turned into a nightmare of potentially losing my data or permanently damaging my laptop!
After about **5 attempts**, thanks to **Gemini** for saving me and guiding me, and I’m extremely lucky that Windows had created a **System Restore point** before the update. Even after all that stress, **half of my programs were still broken and wouldn’t run**, which I eventually fixed using **CMD** and something called an **SFC Scan**, again with the help of Gemini.
In the end, support only kept copy-pasting the same message:
**“You should ask for a refund within 60 days as mentioned before.”**
They expected me to *schedule* their software’s failures. I wrote all this so **you don’t take the risk** and something bad doesn’t happen to your system.

Uninstalled. 1) the annoying pop ups that are difficult to close
2) the auto renew I cancelled 2 years ago has twice tried to take payments
I reached out to them 2 weeks ago “don’t worry we have removed your details all is sorted”
Since then 2 further oayment attempts oh and 7 emails
Worse then most scam websites

What can I do to stop the barrage of ads that are polluting my software? We pay to have peace and quiet, but you're worse than anything; even paying doesn't stop us from being bombarded. That's not true, your advertising scam for your paid software has been going on for years. My friends have uninstalled their IObit software and will never buy it again; what you're doing is shameful.

Excellent support service. The issue I reported was promptly addressed and resolved in subsequent updates after I raised an incident report to the support team.

They have some good software, but they need to stop pushing all of their other products. If you install any of their software, be prepared for a pop-up message appearing at least daily, trying to get you to buy some other product of theirs

I use 6 of their programs regularly. I think they all do a fine job. When I have needed to reach out to them for help, they always provided a solution.

I paid for the pro version of their Driver Booster program, but the activation code they sent me didn;t work. Tried to contact IoBit support via the link in their email but got a 404 error.

Responsiveness! There are all sorts of updaters out there but this one works well. There is the new Winget command that does upgrade things automatically but if you have a subscription such as EASEUS uses, it uploads the latest software, uninstalls the version resident on the computer, deletes your serial key and you are really messed up. This is safe in my opinion
