Tommy Bahama knockoff??

I ordered a Tommy Bahama short sleeve silk shirt from Island Trends. Since I have worn Tommy Bahama shirts for years and have always taken a size medium, I didn't try it on and packed it for a trip when it arrived. When I put it on, it felt a little tight, but I was in a hurry and left for dinner. I later realized that the sleeves were so short that the sleeves of my undershirt were showing. I wrote Island Trends and asked if there could have been a manufacturing error or if the shirt was a knockoff of Tommy Bahama. I suggested they check their inventory of these shirts. I didn't request to return it since I had worn it. They never responded, so you may want to try another retailer if you want a Tommy Bahama shirt.

Steals from & ignores customers.

If you want to be ignored after they steal your money, this is the place for you. They claim to have not received a returned item despite USPS proving via GPS that it was delivered to them. They have not responded to me one time.
Buyer be ware.

Very Bad Experience With International Purchase

I am in Australia and purchased and paid for 2 shirts from this well known USA company. I was directed to complete the transaction through their "trusted" international shipping partner Globalshopex.
I paid for the order of shirts and shipping to Australia and received a confirmation.
A few days later I received an email from Globalshopex requiring an additional $US50 for shipping which would have made the total for the shipping component onlone $US76 for 2 shirts. They stated if I didn't pay the order would be cancelled. At first I thought it was a hoax given that I had already paid for international shipping. But turns out it wasn't, and they wanted the additional fee. I of course declined and expressed my concern at this practice with both Globalshopex and the retailer Island Trends. I did even not receive the courtesy of a reply from Island Trends which shows poor customer respect.
Given that Island Trends makes a feature of International Shipping on their website this practice reflects badly on them.
A Google reveals I am not the only one who has experienced this demand for outrageous additional shipping from Globalshopex after the transaction has been confirmed.
So this is a warning to international customers of Island Trends (and indeed any retailer who uses Globalshopex) that the transaction you think is complete may be followed up with demands for excessive amounts of additional shipping or order cancellation.
