I have used it for years but now is disappointing
I have used it for years (2020 -present) and spent a lot on packages--German, mostly. Has deteriorated in my opinion. Not the teachers, just the platform. There seems to be no oversight; the bot in customer service is a joke. They have a $25 credit of mine and there seems to be no way to access that and no agent.

Lesson recaps allow for more focus time during the lesson
I enjoy the lesson review after each lesson; it helps me stay focused in class and review the notes afterward. I wish they would allow larger file sharing for homework convenience.

I'm relatively new and haven't encountered any problems and that's good.
I did notice that sound quality using the chat is very poor for some reason. I don't think it's on my side.

Too Much A.I., imo
I like the general concept, and the pricing isn't terrible. Not every tutor is a perfect fit for everyone, and the trial lessons are a nice feature. I detest the additional "AI tools" and wish they would go away. Likewise, i think that tutors should be banned if found to be using AI for their materials or in their profile. (and it's happening a lot, by the looks of it) The messenger could use an "edit" feature, since typos happen and usually tutors in particular should be able to correct them. Otherwise it's kinda reinforcing errors, which seems bad, for a learning platform. Overall, i like the platform, i find it helpful. I hate that AI is taking over

Terrible. They auto charge you for a lesson even if it didn't happen and then don't enable you to claim a refund. The only redeeming feature is that the teachers are excellent.

The plattform is ok and works but is has a lot nore potential. Improve the user experience. Make the UI less complex, make it more clear and easy to use. Right now it looks messy and overloaded. Develop more convenient functions for example liking messages, uploading more than one file at a time, sending voice messages in the chat, ssearching for terms in the chat and so on.
Make Italki classroomtechnically more stable.
