Ordered a Truma boiler on 14th July DISASTROUS
Ordered a Truma boiler on 14th July. Was told it may arrive early in the following week. What happened to next day delivery as you state on the website?
So lt was dispatched on the 16th July via fedex. I asked If I could pay for speedier shipping as I had booked a caravan technician to fit the boiler on the 21st and was now worried about the boiler arriving in time. I was told via email by someone at Jacksons its not possible. So. Its meant to arrive on Monday 20th July. Waited in ALL DAY and NO DELIVERY. In fact got text from fedex that they sent it back to Launceston depot!! Without attempting to deliver it! Why?? Could not get any sense out of fedex! Multiple calls, emails on line, live chats, tracking texts etc etc with fedex but useless. Would not let me drive up to the depot myself to pick it up! They then promised to deliver before 9am on the 21st. OK I thought, great. Fitter is coming 9am!
Well that time came amd went. 6 hours later around 3pm it finally arrived! Fitter had to cancel as he had other jobs to do! AND when it was finally delivered it was dumped in a barn! It was supposed to have had a signature on delivery! So. All in all. Very disappointed. Poor timescale of delivery after purchasing 7 days earlier. Now we have to wait 8 weeks! As Fitter cannot come back til September! Very unhappy 🙁

Hi Tracy, we’re sorry this has been frustrating, but we would like to clarify the timeline.
The product page states the current dispatch estimate, which is normally 1–2 working days. This order was placed on 14th July and dispatched on 16th July, so it was dispatched within the stated estimate. Once dispatched, the service used is a next working day courier service.
We were asked whether a faster service could be paid for, but we do not offer this because courier delivery times are not guaranteed. We do not want to take payment for a premium service when delays can still occur outside our control.
Unfortunately, after dispatch, the issue occurred within FedEx’s network. We contacted the courier and communicated the urgency, but we cannot control depot routing, missed delivery windows or driver decisions once the goods are with them.
We are sorry your fitting appointment was affected, but we would always recommend waiting until an item has arrived and been checked before booking installation, as courier delays, damage or other issues can occur with any carrier.

New Fridge for my Motorhome.
Magic. Put in my order three days later New Fridge Turned up. Absolutely delighted.
There was one small downside. Delivery man would not take away the Euro pallet fridge came on.
Now have the problem of disposal of said pallet.
Fridge is A1.

When purchased canopy on line
When purchased canopy on line, saying in stock. Then told it was late coming in, should be with them on the 15th July, several phone calls and emails item no in until end of September. Paid for item on the 10th July. Beware if you are purchasing canopy, check they physically have it in stock. They don’t reply to all emails, even after telephone conversations I still had to chase them. I had money back, but what an experience.

To clarify, this was a Thule awning. Due to the size and length of these products, they are normally sent directly from the UK distributor using specialist couriers. This is usually a quicker process and also helps avoid additional handling and delivery costs being passed on to customers.
Unfortunately, this particular model has been affected by a surge in demand, with UK stock being updated as available and then selling through very quickly. This was made more difficult by the manufacturer’s August shutdown in Italy, meaning any items not already produced or scheduled before the closure are delayed until September at the earliest.
The extended response time was due to manual stock checks being carried out with the distributor during an exceptionally busy period. We appreciate this was not the experience you expected, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.
