uttterly incompetent bordering on the currupt

uttterly incompetent. Refused to answer written submitted questions on multiple occasions, refused to organise meetings, Insisted I instruct costly lawyers to deal wth them .failed to acknowledge or act on vital information supplied to them. Allowed and estate to disintegrate into disrepair , Continued to heed vexatious fraudulent discredited claimant over law abiding genuine beneficiaries. Reported to the SRA . Bordering on the corrupt I highly recommend that you do not instruct this company

Thought this company was great until

Thought this company was great until, I had a fixed quote for fees, which was changed and even after I paid at the finish of business, JCP decided to added more charges, one was for a phone call I made to thank them. Make sure you have a fixed bill even though that will be subject to change.

This company is useless

This company is useless. We wanted to buy some land, the vendor's solicitor would be doing all work, including land registry. So all we needed is for a solicitor to read through the documents.....

Should be simple, but we haven't got over the first hurdle and get a solicitor to call us. We gave them a deadline of 17.30 today for a call. Nope

Going to another firm.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

considering other law firm

I had a disappointing experience with JCP Solicitors. Communication was poor, progress was slow, and I didn’t feel well-supported throughout the process. I would recommend considering other law firms that offer more reliable and efficient service.

Choose another law firm

I eventually pulled the plug with JCP after spending £17,000 and feeling nothing but frustrated and not being represented at all.
My lawyer was focused upon making money for the law firm, not representing my best interests.
Please don't follow my very bad experience.

What a terrible company

What a terrible company. They represented the buyer of my flat. They dragged out my flat sale for over 6 months. Raising many insignificant issues and refusing to work on simple tasks in parallel. They were petty over wording and even rejected indemnity/insurance policies I reluctantly agreed to pay for. In the final week before exchanging contracts, they raised issues that should have been resolved weeks or even months earlier and also requested documents that had already been provided months before. They cost me about £3500 in extra costs due to unnecessary delays, from what I would consider was incompetence, lack or experience or lack of knowledge. I assume the buyer of my flat also had similar extra costs due to there very poor service.

I will be reporting this company to the ombudsman and I would not recommend them to anyone.
