I wore this $190 hoodie twice. A tiny stain got on it, I used a normal stain remover (Shout), and it instantly caused a huge, permanent discoloration. I’ve washed it multiple times like customer service suggested and it did not fade at all. It is now completely unwearable.
Customer service was just as disappointing. I received canned, copy-and-paste responses that didn’t actually address the issue — just repeated “don’t spot treat” over and over. For a casual sweatshirt, that is completely unreasonable. No one expects a basic cleaning product to permanently ruin a hoodie.
If a product can be destroyed this easily, that should be made extremely clear BEFORE purchase — not buried in care instructions.
$190 for something you’re basically afraid to clean, backed by customer service that won’t take responsibility.

Care instructions for pigment dyed garments state "Do Not Bleach or Spot Clean," as doing so can cause severe discoloration. Given the unique nature of pigment dye we provide this care information warning against spot cleaning in multiple locations. It is available prior to purchase in the product description online, on the separate hang tag attached to the garment upon arrival, and on the care label sewn onto the interior of the garment.
We always recommend following the care instructions to prevent damage and maintain the quality of your JOAH BROWN pieces.

Careful if you might want to return something
Love their sweatshirts, the sweaters most of the stuff I’ve gotten is great. I did buy one shirt and immediately tried it on and did not like it. It wasn’t flattering on me and as soon as I went to return it, it said it was not returnable it was just pretty much the same day I got it so you know when you waste you have $$78-$100. You expected at least be able to return it now I have a shirt that’s got tags on it that I will never wear and I tried to return it the same day so I’m not happy with that so I’m not sure if I’ll continue buying sweatshirts from them or just go over to ALO or Free People

One of the shirts I got was a cute fit but crop is super short where like if you lift your arms your bra shows, even though fit is baggy. Ultimately decided to return due to stiff uncomfortable material.
