Avoid Jones Homes Garstang

To any new home buyers looking for a Jones Homes property in Garstang, Avoid at all costs!. The NHBC warranty is literally not worth the paper its written on and no matter how bad the works are, the NHBC will always favour Jones. The Jones Homes party trick will refer you to the NHBC if you disagree with anything, knowing full well that the NHBC have their back and that nothing will be done. Any defects will be the fault of the homeowner. I have even been accused of sabotaging my own property in writing by construction director of Lancashire Alex Bedson. They will turn up to your house with the NHBC and bully you into thinking you are wrong. If you have a complaint, you will always be referred back to Mr Bedson. I have had 2 years of hell because of these people and I intend to get local and National MPs involved even if I have to fight this for the next 10 years. I advise everyone to take a good look not only at Jones Homes Reviews but also the NHBC reviews. There is a pattern. This is a major issue and concern.

We had a great meeting today with…Sandra and Ian

We had a great meeting today with Sandra and Ian at Lambcote Meadows, for our “Meet the Builder meeting”. It was very informative and put our minds at rest in terms of the quality of the build, site familiarisation and the process to expect going forward. Thank you to both
We are so excited to be moving in soon.

Traumatic experience

I can actually sympathise with many of these reviews as its been a similar experience with our jones home bought in April 2018; which cost us over £400,000 plus over £42,000 Worth of extras- because everything we chose was an upgrade for the house! It was supposed to be our dream house and we have had so many issues- too many to mention. We had a leak the first weekend we moved in from the guest shower through to the kitchen, doors that don't lock or fit properly- we were charged hundreds of pounds for the paint inside the property because i wanted a colour of my choice not theres! Btw the paintwork inside and out is atrocious! It already needs replacing and theres three of us live here and we are very tidy people- we haven't got any kids in the house either. When we email jones homes we get emailed back in capitals stating we have emailed the wrong office instead of emailing it on which is normal behaviour- We feel like we are being shouted at and in my opinion extremely rude; but don't address whats in the email! We had emailed jones homes during the covid period and i know since they have reopened they have lots to catch up on but its patronising the way i have been spoken to recently and We have been very patient and jobs are still outstanding inside and outside the house. The phone call i made this week to inform them that we have yet another leak in the guest room through to the hall and they had the audacity to tell us that its two year warranty is out of date!! Which is unbelievable as they have been closed for months and during the pandemic all companies have made extensions because of covid- but not jones homes, i asked to speak to a manager in north west- Colin carhart Spoke to my husband and he was rude and negative stating the warranty has ended! and they are unable to sort our leak out in the house. It beggars belief- we then phoned NHBC and the ten year guarantee only covers the shell of the house- not worth the paper its written on basically. We had to go through our insurance company and they said its probably shoddy workmanship which wouldn't surprise us In the least. However they said a surveyor will check it and if thats the case they will contact jones homes Immediately who will be authorised to take responsibilty.
