It was a great pick of destination for us given what we had told Journee in our questionnaire. The itinerary was well planned with excellent experiences tailored to our likes and a good balance of organised time and free time. It was really well organised and everything ran very smoothly. Very responsive customer service when we needed it which exceeded our expectations. I appreciate it would be cheaper to organise it yourself but the freedom of not having to think about anything or plan anything was so nice and we did things that we probably wouldn’t have arranged ourselves but we really enjoyed and were well suited to us. So we’ll worth paying for in my opinion and given you set the budget yourself in any case you know what it’s going to cost you. Definitely plan on doing it again.

Great experience from start to finish. Journee quickly provided a very reasonable quote for a holiday, were very communicative and gave all the info we needed. The holiday matched our wishes completely. The itinerary and app were crystal clear and all the excursions were great, again with great communication.
10/10 would do again

Journee make going on a trip exciting! They take all the stress of planning and preparation away from you, and I love that element. And they always include adventure and excursions to suit your preferences so your days are filled with the best days out that always feel authentic and local. The whole process from filling out the questionnaire, receiving our information and the trip in general was great. Highly recommend a trip with Journee (this was my third trip, so I am a big fan!)

If you're on the fence about taking a trip to an unknown destination, hop off and DO IT! We had a great time - from planned activities to free days, a perfect balance. Met awesome fellow travelers and did things we otherwise might not have. The destination was fabulous and the groups were small. Everything went off without a hitch and the Journee team took care of all the details in addition to being very responsive as we traveled. We will definitely do it again!

I recently experienced an incredible trip to Spain through Journee, and their unique approach made the entire experience feel like a personalized adventure. Once I arrived, I was impressed by how seamlessly everything was organized. This balance was perfect – I enjoyed the security of having key experiences planned while maintaining the freedom to discover hidden gems at my own pace.
The lack of included meals initially seemed like a drawback, but it actually became one of the trip's highlights. It pushed me to venture into local markets, discover neighborhood restaurants, and truly immerse myself in Spain's incredible culinary scene. There's something special about stumbling upon your own favorite tapas bar or navigating a bustling mercado.
One consideration for future travelers: if you don't speak Spanish, I'd recommend traveling with a companion. While the planned activities were well-coordinated, having someone to share the experience with during free time would enhance those moments when language barriers arise.
Overall, Journee delivered an exceptional travel experience that struck the perfect balance between structured adventure and independent exploration. For travelers seeking something beyond the typical package tour, this approach offers the best of both worlds.

I’d seen reviews saying you could book it all yourself cheaper. Yes, that may be true, but you’ll never get the same experience and I think it was worth every penny. From getting the proposal to getting home, I wish I could do it all again. The customer service throughout has been amazing and I’ve created memories I’ll never forget. If you’re a solo female and thinking about it, I would say dare to be brave and enjoy the adventure.

I have just returned from my first journee trip and I really hope it won’t be my last. Everything was perfect from where we were sent ( we loved it!) the seats on the plane were great, the transfer was simple, the accommodation was in a perfect location and absolutely immaculate with the best shower I have ever been in! The trips were well organised and very well chosen. I can’t fault journee at all. I only have one small niggle that the weather was a good 5 degrees warmer than we were told so maybe that could be a little more accurate. But it is the tiniest thing in what was a wonderful experience.

Our Journee experience was great from start to finish and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The team were really responsive to any messages we sent with questions/ queries and the holiday they planned was excellent. I’m a bit of a control freak when it comes to holiday planning but I didn’t need to worry as this trip was brilliant and I cannot wait to go on another Journee trip!

Just back from a wonderful Journee adventure.
We have travelled fairly extensively in Europe and wanted to give our next holiday the added twist of Journee's surprise element. We loved the idea of all the planning and excursions being sorted for us and we were not disappointed.
Our destination was actually one that we had never really considered and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The organisation, accommodation and trips were excellent. We met 1 other Journee couple but our itineraries were different and therefore we didn't feel that we were on a package holiday.
The companies used for our trips were brilliant. Each one contacted us the eve before the trip to confirm the meeting/collection point and time etc.
We had a couple of queries during our holiday and Journee responded very quickly via WhatsApp. We added an airport transfer to our proposal as we were arriving early hours of the morning, apart from that, we were very happy with the proposal.
I'm sure we will book again with Journee but we're hoping Bristol airport will soon be an option.
If you're not sure about trying Journee.... don't hesitate, just do it! 😁

Was recommended Journee by a colleague at work ... and so glad we tried it. It made a pleasant change not having to spend hours planning our holiday and ended up on a two city break in the South of France.
The hotels were excellent and some of the excursions we did (all were excellent) we probably wouldn't have done if we'd booked separately.
If you have a sense of adventure then would definitely recommend.

We were 4 university friends wanting to celebrate our 50th birthdays by having a break together. We ended up in Porto, Portugal, and loved it! The destination was perfect! A beautiful city with lots to see and do but small enough to walk around. Weather perfect for our group. Warm enough to enjoy but not too hot for sight-seeing. The trips were fabulous. Very well-organised with all the information needed to make everything go smoothly, easily accessible in a booklet and on the app. We had an apartment in the centre of town, which was so convenient. We had a wonderful time in a city we would never have thought of visiting - but would definitely go back to! It was like finding the perfect holiday to match our interests, without having to do any of the research. Could not have found better ourselves. Thank you Journee!!

Enjoyed in an incredible week long holiday with my wife for a special birthday. Journee were extremely helpful and all of the arrangements put in place ensured a peaceful and hassle free trip. Any questions were responded to promptly and dealt with in an efficient manner. We would highly recommend and certainly consider using Journee in the future when planning future surprise excursions.

This is my second trip with Journee and they are always impeccable.

I booked our surprise trip with Journee for my dad’s 86th birthday. We had such fun trying to work out where we were heading every time a clue came through. The accommodation was perfect for us, the excursions were fascinating and appropriate for us and we had a great time.

We had such a great time on our trip arranged by Journee. After several months of planning a honeymoon, we had to cancel due to some politics unfortunately. It left us with less than two months to make a new plan in the same time frame. We heard about Journee, we did our research to see if it was “legit” and we can confirm it is. Not having to plan a single thing and just going with the flow was something we needed so desperately and the folks at Journee did a great job. We had a ton of questions before booking and the team were always responsive and helped us through that process. Once booked we started receiving our clues and we had fun trying to guess where we were going. Some clues were super hard, which felt like a fun and exciting way to lead up to the trip. as we got closer, the packing list was sent and weather shared which made it easy to pack. Once at the airport we found our trip was - we opened our journee passport an Our tickets downloaded on to our phone easily and we were off. Throughout the trip we were left with a good mix of planned experiences and time on our own to explore - they were balanced day to day with more chill experiences and more adventures ones . Everything was easy and all of our guides were lovely. The journey team was thoughtful and booked a lot of experiences with smaller companies with excellent tour guides. Overall we had such a great time, especially not having to make any decisions. Our accommodations were also very nice. The booklet of restaurants and things to see on your own were super helpful. We also had overlap with some other journee travellers which was actually very nice to meet some new people on our trips. Overall it was smooth and easy trip. I will say, this is on us but I think we had a bit too much historical relevance and some of the experiences were a bit too educationall for us then we would like, so I would recommend when you get your proposal you are really keen for the types of experiences selected. Not a huge issue, but we did wish we had more access to our flight info to have in our phones on the way home. There were some delays and minor issues that most would have known through a company app. Very small things though. Overall they were great to communicate with, I was never left hanging and everyone was very kind. The trip itself was thought out and fun and we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to make the leap.

The hotel chosen was very nice and next to a Metro stop, allowing easy access to all locations in Porto.

Journee did a great job setting up the tours we took, which went to areas around Porto we may not have known about on our own. Each tour was in a small van, with a maximum size of 8 people, allowing time to interact with the other tour participants and the very knowledgeable guide.

The overall time in Porto was setup nicely, with tour days and off days to allow self-exploration.

Overall it was a very well setup trip to a location that was not on our radar to go to.

Journee planned an amazing trip for me! They really listened to all my vacation requests, and it was one of the best trips I have been on. I saw so much of Slovenia in a short amount of time, but I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. I also liked that a lot of the excursions were half days because it still gave me time to explore the city I was in. The hotels were really great (and I didn't even upgrade to the 4- and 5-star hotels). I felt very safe of where I was at all times and Journee did a great job checking in with me.

I am an avid traveler, having visited roughly 30 countries and when I tell you Journee hit the mark, you should know I’m not lying! Journee did an amazing job listening to what I wanted and actually putting it into fruition. I could have not planned a better trip for myself. I am already counting down the days I can plan another trip with them!

I have just returned from an amazing trip planned by journee. They matched me with the perfect destination somewhere I would have never of picked for myself . It was simply superb from the accommodation, the experiences and the sights to behold. I could not fault this company they really do plan every little detail they are quick to respond if you have any issues and are super helpful their customer service is excellent. Honestly if you are thinking of booking with them don’t think just do it ! You will not regret it. I have only just got back and have already requested a new proposal because I enjoyed it that much ! Best holiday I’ve had in a long while. Huge thanks to the journee team for all their hard work. it’s not easy planning holidays in fact I don’t think I want to plan one ever again :) I can safely put my trust in this company :) thanks journee until next time !
