I was terrified of having this operation. It’s taken me 10 years to get the courage to go through with it and now that I know first hand how easy it is I wish I hadn’t waited this long. Mr. Karidis and his team really ease your mind prior to surgery and on the day. The anaesthetist was really caring and patient with me. I have anxiety and was shaking with nerves but woke up no bother at all and had great nurses with me until I was discharged. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I’m so pleased.

i Had a lower facelift & upper & lower blepharoplasty with Mr Karidis & the whole experience has been amazing. i had a couple of consultations with Mr Karidis before i decided to go ahead, he discussed & explained all of the procedures in detail, & also what to expect every step of the way.
One month on from surgery i could not be happier with the recovery & more importantly the results. Mr Karidis did a fabulous job. He really is a genius.
His team are the best & nothing is too much trouble, they are always on hand to discuss, explain & reassure.
i had the pleasure of dealing with both clinical nurses Romy & Lou who are so caring & understanding. I still contact Romy if i have any questions i need answering.
i would also like to mention the care of the nurses on the ward the day of my procedure, Alexandra in particular could not have been any kinder to me, she was always there if i needed anything & honestly nothing was too much trouble for her.
so if you are considering any type of procedure i would say Alex Karidis is your man, no question.

After a very negative first surgery experience a few years ago I went to see Dr Karidis who was renowned for this surgery to get the results I wanted.

I now couldn't be happier with the results, My whole life I've dreamt of my chest looking like it does now, I don't even think about it anymore and I can wear white and grey T-shirts. My self confidence has never been so high.

My girlfriend can't even see the scars and it is incredible being able to be on the beach with full confidence with my shirt off.

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for how amazing this experience was compared to my first surgery, to the whole team, the nurses, anaesthetists and Dr Karidis himself. It's really changed my life :)

This is my second review I’m writing, I just couldn’t help my self. The 19 March will be one year after having my procedure, looking at my scar in the shower today made me feel amazing as it was almost invisible.

Seeking cosmetic surgery to correct an embarrassing issue isn't the easiest process. I found Dr Karidis after doing some research and saw that his reviews are amazing. At that point, I decided to pluck up the courage and book a consultation (which was the best decision I've probably ever made!). He was very confident in his abilities and reassured me that he can help rectify my issue which was great to hear. I then decided to go through with the op and after 4 months of having the surgery, im still amazed with the final result. His team are very professional and kept me informed/ comfortable throughout everything. If anyone that is reading this is considering going down the cosmetic route, then I would encourage you to do your research and have a few consultations to see if this is the right choice for you. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner!

This clinic offers fantastic services and a high standard of care. Mr Alex Karidis is extremely professional. I have had great treatment outcomes in the past and would not hesitate to return for further treatment in future.

I had a breast augmentation and rhinoplasty with Mr Karidis and my experience from start to finish was amazing.

I’m so happy with my results and my only regret is not doing it sooner.

I had a nose job and a breast augmentation and nipple reduction done with Alex, and while the nose job came out okay,(hence the one star on here) the boob job was the worst mistake ever! I was sold the idea by him of also reducing my areola/nipple in addition to the boob job, which I never thought I needed and I only agreed to as I thought perhaps it would create an overall better look. Now the nipples look about the same as before but the scarring looks awful! Alex promised to address this but this never materialised. The original implants were PIPs (later found to be filled with industrial mattress filler!)that turned out to rupture/leak in one of my breasts, at the time I was offered free replacements which I took up even though I wanted them removed but that would have cost too much and at the time I did not have the money. Now only a few years later, after always being healthy I had Leukemia and I have no idea if the burst PIP implant (mattress filler it turned out to be)might have caused this. We will never know, but now it turns out the replacement implants put in, have been removed from the market due to them being linked to a rare form of blood cancer. Also I never before experienced contracture (hardening) and many years later this has happened, so now I have to find the money to have them removed and my breasts fixed so that I don't land up with breasts of an old woman. All this well before the 20 year or so time line of when the implants require removal or replacement!

The reason I am leaving review is to warn women thinking of breast implants : Please think carefully about putting them in with Alex, he doesn't mind taking your money and suggesting additional procedures you don't need but he is not likely to offer a solution you're happy with if things go wrong. He has ignored my concerns that I want to remove the implants asap because I have had blood cancer and do not want to continue to have these implants in if they are connected to a rare form of blood cancer. I am in cancer remission and I need to continue staying cancer free. Alex dismissed my concerns. I have a vague feeling that I might have paid money to be sick, even though the aim was to make my breasts look bigger. The amount of hassles I have had with the breast implants means I should be paid compensation but instead I have to find the money to fix this mess. I researched breast augmentation very thoroughly before I did it, it was not an impulsive thing, but the truth is that no research has been done to see what happens to the body when you put in implants long term and if they rupture, or if mattress filler is used and the implants rupture and the mattress filler is left in the body. Is having larger breasts really worth putting one's life in danger? The answer is no and had I known then what I know now I would not have done it.

In response to the reply from Karidis clinic,I have nothing to gain from slandering the clinic or "venting" as I have tried my best to get a resolution with the clinic, to no avail.I just want women who are thinking about doing breast augmentations to be very careful when choosing this clinic, because when it goes wrong the problem then gets dumped on the patient and little responsibility is taken even though a profit was made from providing the service.

Really happy I took a friends recommendation to have my breast augmentation at Karidis Clinic. I had my operation at the beginning of November and progressed every day to a full recovery a few weeks later. I put off having the procedure for years due to the fear of the unknown and a daunting recovery time but kick myself everyday for it! I am very active and independent so was worried I’d be completely useless and in pain for 6 weeks but this wasn’t the case at all.

The whole Karidis team were very informative and empathetic about any concerns I had and I NEVER felt nervous, right up to being anaesthetised. I had a really nice calm, relieved (that I was finally getting it done!) excitement and felt incredibly safe because I knew I was in good hands. All the people I had contact with were professional, friendly, helpful and were great at responding/communicating whether it was in person or over phone/email.

I woke up after the operation feeling absolutely fine in myself. I was asked if I was experiencing any pain and offered/administered pain relief straight away when I said I had some discomfort in my shoulders. I asked for some water as the intubation equipment had left a horrible taste in my mouth and I got some immediately. They asked if I was okay every few minutes until I had fully come round. When I was back in my immaculate room, the nurse helped me put on my post surgical bra, checked I was comfortable, pain free and came round every 30 minutes to check my stats and my breasts (incisions and sensation). She explained all the after care to me (dressings, pain medication, contact numbers) during these visits and we had a bit of general chat too. My blood pressure took a while to resume to normal as it is a bit on the low side anyway but I wasn’t panicked or felt rushed to leave. I had a 3 hour car ride home and wasn’t uncomfortable at any point. I would recommend taking a pillow to place on your lap to hold the seatbelt away from your chest. The precautionary antibiotics made me feel sick so I stopped taking them, as advised, around 36 hours later. I took the fully prescribed amount of pain killers for only 2 days, then took some at bedtime only for another couple of days. I would honestly say I had no pain directly in my breasts which I was fully expecting. My ribs/abdominal muscles were very sore when I moved for a few days and my pectoral muscles (high up near my shoulders) were tight for a few weeks but then went back to normal almost overnight! I normally sleep on my side but as I couldn’t do this it meant I woke up a lot in the night so I was very tired for the first couple of weeks. This was as bad as it got for me because I find I do need a lot of sleep! If you are the same, I would recommend trying to train yourself to sleep on your back in the lead up to the operation. It can be done because funnily enough I have started to move to that position during the night after falling asleep on my side.
In the very early stages, the implants would sometimes make noises when I moved, which are hard to describe. l have heard the noise described at ‘sloshing’ but I would say it was more like a ‘creaking’. It’s not horrible, just a bit weird as I don’t think I had heard anything about it before!
I was aware of excessive movements, carrying and stretching for a few weeks but due to the new sensation, not necessarily pain.
I drove less than 2 weeks after the operation but if I’m honest, in a manual car, it felt a little too soon. An automatic at that stage would have been ideal!

Great experience, great result and I will definitely be getting more things done at this clinic. Do not put this off if you are worried about the pain or immobility, it’s a couple of weeks out of your whole life for something much better at the end of it! Prioritise something important to your well being, research the procedure, be fully aware of the risks and ask as many questions as you can. But whatever you do, get it done HERE. Special mention to Alex Karidis who saw me through the whole process, did a great job and has improved the way I feel about myself.

Many years ago, i had an unsatisfactory result with a surgeon elsewhere, and after research, i decided to have revision surgery with Mr Karidis.

I was very impressed with the consultations ( both on-line and in person).On the day of my surgery, everyone from the person who greeted me at the hospital to Mr Karidis himself were extremely welcoming and happy to answer any questions i still had.

After surgery, i was very well taken care of until i left the hospital later that day.

Early days after sugery , things were a little uncomfortable at time but certainly not bad. This gradually eased over the weeks, and now, a couple of months after, i am delighted with the results!

I finally have the result that i knew was there but evaded me for years.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Karidis to anyone considering this type of surgery, and my thanks to the whole team.

I am so happy with Mr Karidis who performed my arm lift, breast augmentation and removal of an unsightly vein in my forehead. He is amazing. I want to mention his nurse Romi.. she has looked after me in hospital and was so very lovely. Her manner is informative and very calming. She answered all my questions thoroughly and with great knowledge too. I have just seen her one week post op for a check up and to change my dressings. She was so lovely and very professional once again. An asset in every way to the wonderful Alex Karidis.

Last November I had it liposuction, it was so worth it, best decision I have made it. I still have some swelling, but the way I look now is so awesome. Now my dresses look so different on me. Thank you Dr. Karidis and the whole team, the care after surgery was spot on. I am so happy with my results.

After having met few different plastic surgeons I have opted to have a lower face lift and upper/lower blepharoplasty with Mr.Karidis.
He was very confident and encouraging without trying to pressurise me into anything.
He described to me exactly what I could and couldn’t expect from the outcome of the procedures.

Nobody has noticed that I had plastic surgery but I am receiving so many compliments about how well I look.
