I haven't used this service myself, but I decided that it was not too kosher when I noticed that a notorious crackpot 'scientist' was using it. He apparently lives in Hull (and was actually a professor at the university) but also pretends to be living in the USA and working for something called Thunder Technologies.

I was born in Hull and have lived here most of my life and have always been proud of our very own telephone company and never expected to write a bad review, but here goes. I got my bill through online and it was twice its normal amount. I rang the help line and the girl insisted that it stated on the bill it was for 2 months - but the online one said from May to June. Eventually I realised that there was an error on the online account and the PDF one stated May to July. I kept telling her that obviously it hadn't been properly tested and she refused to listen to me continually talking over me until I pointed out that I was a paying customer with a genuine complaint.

I have been waiting on documents for more than 10 days, has not returned any of my phone calls only responded via text. DO NOT recommend this company.

After repeatedly asking if I would be contacted prior to fitting of the lightstream external box. The fitter came and went, job done.
He had put it in 'HIS EASIEST PLACE POSSIBLE' as fitters do.
When I complained, I was told that the conversation would be listened to, to check my story.
I would be contacted within 48 hours. After 6 days I called again, and the same promise was given.
At this point the work inside the house had been done. The fitter agreed that the external work was in a ridiculous place and there were far more sensible places to position it.
Needless to say, KCOM do not do call backs. What a company.
We pay over the odds to be treat no better than dirt.

loved it had a problem with not getting connected for 2 weeks turned out someone had cut the telephone line replaced for free brilliant service

If anybody is from hull will know what I mean the charge £35 just for 8MB's download speed and has 150GB limit with a family thats quite big like mine it goes down fast the price's are to high and the customer support are bad at the job its the only one you can get at hull right now tho.
