BUYER BEWARE - Customer service is terrible!
I ordered a phone yesterday from kickmobile, literally the only reason I bought from them is I wanted a cat s53 and they were the only place with one in stock.
After a few hours I decided spending almost $1200 canadian on a new phone is not in my best interests right now, that I should look for a cheaper option.
I looked on my order status and it said processing, not shipped yet. Perfect, easy to cancel right?
WRONG! They don't have an option to cancel order, so I used the "contact us" link, and just to make sure they caught it before it shipped I also emailed the sales email. Little harder than a simple cancel button, but not bad.
Well they emailed back first thing this morning, order canceled due to payment not authorized, and you've been added to our blocked customer list. WAIT WHAT?? Payment had been authorized but not processed as it hadn't shipped, payment wasn't an issue. Why would they block me?
So I emailed back and said is that really your customer service to block any customer who cancels an order? The reply said customers like you are the problem and are always ordering things, returning things, complaining, canceling orders and we reserve the write to block any customers we don't want to serve. This is paraphrased a bit to be more polite lol.
They then added that there's no reason to worry about their customer service because they've been in business since 2008 and people like me are the only reason they have bad reviews.
Yesterday was the first time I have been on their site, I've never ordered from them before, so how does he have any reason to label me a problem and block me? He's never dealt with me before....never will again either.
I honestly can't remember the last time I canceled an order anywhere, I'm not one to complain, I don't like difficult customers so I strive not to be one myself. This was a simple cancellation, it hadn't even been processed yet, so it wasn't like it was boxed up and had a shipping label even.
To have them fly off the handle and block me over something as simple as this, I would hate to have to contact them with an issue after an order was processed or shipped, lost, damaged, etc.
Absolutely deplorable customer service with no interest in being polite or assisting customers. I'm glad I got my order canceled before they got my money, Blocking me was pointless, you couldn't pay me to deal with this company again.
BUYER BEWARE!! They aren't a scam, you'll get what you order, but you better hope you don't have a problem because they are definitely going to be very disagreeable and difficult to deal with if they even bother to try and help.
ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
