Fantastic bike, shipped quickly and at a great price. I've only owned my 4S a few months but already I've put 600+ miles on it in rotation with my other bikes.

Whilst not required, I upgraded the wheels to a set of Hunts and it's even better.

Staggeringly good customer service from Kinesis. I needed a part for a foreign bike pack trip. One of the shops who they supply to weren't interested in helping but Kinesis went above and beyond to get the part to me. Didn't catch the guy's name but thanks so much

It's 2026 and Kinesis is still using exotic, proprietary derailleur hangers. Consumers want UDH. I don't see a single valid reason why they don't go UDH on all their frames and bikes. Other than that I like what they do, not many out there sells affordable framesets anymore.

So i own a kenisis atr v3, which was a stretch for my budget but wanted something, tough and strong. So farm had these issues with the bike mostly minor but notable.

1. Frame is really easily marked especially if your wearing a ring when handling the bike frame.
2. Headset is steel not stainless so rusts when used over winter ( this is a trekking bike right ? )
3. Internal routing for di2 cables are sharp and can damage the cables.
4. First frame I received was mis-manufactured and needed to be replaced.

So generally a really nice bike and kenisis are normally very nice when talking to them, but their QA process allowed defects to be delivered to a customer and some of the critical extras are not built to the same standard as the frame.

Have owned a Gran Fondo Ti frame 6 years and a Tripster Ti frame for 3 years and both have been flawless and very comfortable. The Gran Fondo (now GTD?) is a comfy road bike. The Tripster is built up as an all purpose winter bike/bikepacking rig. Great frames.

Rupert was really helpful when I ran out of ideas for how to fit my new mudguard. It's a brand new product so there's no guidance on the website yet - and the fitting bits and pieces included with the guard didn't quite match the description (there were also a couple of superfluous items, which confused the heck out of me). But Rupert explained it all really clearly and I fitted the guard without any issues. Kinesis just need to sort out the website instructions and package contents and I'd give them the full 5 stars in a heartbeat!

Kinesis ATR T/A flat mount forks are the lowest quality forks i have used, the quality is a joke. I really should of sent them straight back to the shop but i wanted to ride the bike that day. The forks make strange sounds the carbon steerer is really poorly weaved and i just don't trust them. Seems like the quality control is non existent yet again from Kinesis carbon products.

Love my bike! 6 years later and still going strong!
