Customer Service Nightmare
I placed an online order for a Versa Fitbit. On the day I was to go pick it up, my app said it had already been picked up. I understand the online order bins at the store are a great idea UNTIL someone picks up your package. No one at the store is going to think anything if it. THEN, trying to reconcile with Kohls is extremely difficult. The dispute department asked me if I took notes when I called customer service to report this issue. No?! Even if I did, how valid would my notes be to refund the order I never picked up. Finally, after uploading a ridiculous amount of documentation, I was awarded my claim. I promptly cancelled my card and will never walk in a Kohls store again.

Customer Service is the missing element with Kohl's. Investment needs to be in Customer retention building, especially with vendors like Temu and Amazon. I ordered 2 items before the holidays and the items never arrived. I immediately informed Kohl's after checking with the post office twice. They responded after I wrote a negative review. Only to inform me that the review was not posted because it was not approved. Wow. No one responded to indicate whether they were retracting the lost items. Just unprofessional.

I placed an order on 12-02-25. Item was in stock and in state. I received notice same day it was ready to ship and awaiting pick-up. From that point on there were no updates or tracking available. After 2 weeks I used chat online and was told to wait 6 days. After 6 days I called and the automated system said it had shipped. I waited a week no package. I finally managed to talk to a person yesterday. After much searching he informed me they had no record of my order. I opted for the refund offered, we will see if it takes place. This was for Christmas and so 2 days before Christmas I had to race out to look for a replacement. Bad experience from start to finish. I wouldn't have given any stars if that option was available. I will not be shopping or ordering from Kohl's again. I would not recommend using the .com site.
Update- They did refund my card for the full amount. At least that was done.

Kohl's charges a 15% for stocking fee and the buyer pays return shipping for Kohl's online purchases. My purchase that I need to return doesn't even show up on my Kohl's account. I called kohls.com and they hung up on me when I was waiting for the associate to get back with me to tell me how I can return this item without driving to the store. I won't run into this problem ever again because I am never again shopping at Kohl's. Kohl's used to be a regular shopping stop for our family but since they changed their selling strategy about 10 to 15 years ago we rarely did business with them anymore.
Zero Customer Service
Return policy is now setup to make it extremely difficult for returns to be completed unless you are near a store. Shipping policy is deceitful. They will not refund a package not received until after a clearing period. However their system reflects false information and does not recognize the package is lost. It keeps it in a deliverable state daily even though the package is obviously lost. That happened to us for 11 days. We ordered on Nov 29th. Package was lost Dec 4th. They didn’t recognize it as lost until the 15th. It’s now Dec 23rd. No package. No refund. No assistance from customer service. They blame the system and the carrier policy.

Stop using OnTrac aka Lasership
Kohls - stop using OnTrac aka Lasership to ship Kohls.com orders. Been a customer for 20 years but will stop ordering if you continue to use OnTrac as the shipper. They mis-route every package, claim it’s lost or damaged or incomplete address BS - and it’s every package! Something is really wrong here with this sham company perpetuating retail fraud against your customers. Seems like pattern of intentional mismanagement or organized retail theft for there to be thousands of similar OnTrac complaints online. The USPS is 100% better than this horrible company.

I ordered a Christmas gift for a family member on December 1. Estimated delivery 12/4-12/10. On 12/18, as it still had not arrived, I called as the tracking said it was out for delivery at a city about 30 minutes away. They said to call back today if it was still not delivered. They sent me to call their shipping service, which won't even connect or ring (I wondered if it was just me, but I looked online and many others said the same thing). I called them back and they did not solve the problem. No gift to give for a party, the item is not in stock in stores, and they had no solution. Don't waste your time with them, just buy things on Amazon, who not only deliver on time, but have customer service that can actually solve your problems.

My wife and I parked our bobtail semi tractor truck back where they receive loads, on the side of the building.It said no overnight truck parking. Went in shopping within 45 minutes, we came out and our truck by continental towing was towed off trucks charges 1650.00
I visitex now the manager at the store He said, that's not the intent of what they had asked continental towing to do continental towing is out of out of fontana, california. I'm so disappointed would like to be in shopping, I have the receipt of the business done purchased.
And then have it towed off private property of the store owner. Please and continental towing to reinstate our expense with the towing company, I went back 2 hours later and found that same tow truck company and driver sneaking behind the building. He said he was picking up trash from the homeless. Waiting and watching to try to tow away another semi.It is illegal if the customer is in shopping for a few minutes. I Asked for a binding contract with kohl's and continental towing, which I have asked for from the corporate office.Your corporate office but never have received any info back. The manager at store 601 says he does not have a written agreement. That was so disappointing, and is not right?That while we're in shopping, our vehicle is towed away. In shopping about 1 hour. (Bad situation from Kohl's) please help get this resolved with store 601.

Wish I could give Kohl's -10 stars! I have been a loyal customer of theirs since they first opened their doors and have become a "MVC" since then. Yesterday, I went in the store to exchange the same shirt for my son as I had ordered the wrong color. The girl told me I could do that but if he doesn't like the one I'm exchanging it for and want to return it, I will only get the lowest possible amount for it!! Even though I bought it online with my credit card showing how much I purchased it for!!! Are you serious???? This isn't the first time I've had problems with them, either. The past 5 years with them have gotten worse and worse!! It's too bad they decided to screw their loyal customers! I hope they fall fast and hard before they steal any more customer's money!!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!

I decided to purchase on kohls.com and it was a nightmare. The item was placed on " shipped" for 10 days. It was supposed to have been delivery already. When i called, the rep said, we can refund you and you will receive it in 7 days or you can get another one and will come in 5-10 days but we cant gurantee its not going to encounter the same issue. what a joke. Please stop shopping at Kohls so they can go out of business already.
Apathetic Customer Service
I ordered four shirts on December 6, 2025. I received one shirt. The remaining three shirts have been "delayed" at UPS in Cerritos, CA items since December 13. I called customer service on December 18, and the representative's accent was difficult to understand. He could not explain why my remaining order was delayed. He said he could reorder the items with a six to ten day delivery date. I said that makes no sense because the items are sitting in Cerritos. He said the options were to reorder or cancel. I cancelled. I did not trust what he was telling me because he seemed to be gaslighing me. Unfortunately, the remaining order still has not been cancelled on the Kohl's website. So my battle with customer service representatives with hard-to-understand accents continues. Whatever business model Kohl's is using will cause it to go out of business. Any business model that cannot fulfill its shipping repsonsibilities and that has customer service representatives who cannot resolve issues should not be in business.

Ordered expensive Harry Potter coasters for a Christmas present. Whoever works for there shipping department probably should look for a new job. They threw them in without any protection. The box was smashed the coasters were out of the box by the time I received them. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll be shopping elsewhere.
Kohls is Ebenezer Scrooge this Xmas
I placed an online order December 4th Kohls was sending items in two separate shipments. Received the first shipment and the second shipment a label was created the website is saying that they are waiting on carrier pickup (UPS). After two weeks Kohls website is still the same status. I called and canceled order which I had to wait 13 days, and I have to wait another 7-14 days for refund for show on my account. The crazy thing is I placed another order online ( in a attempt to replace first order and I received one shipment and the second shipment is saying the same thing as my previous order (waiting on carrier pickup). Kohls needs to stop trying to place the blame on UPS because I haven't had issues from other stores this holiday just Kohls.

We were the victims of fraudulent use of $150 of Kohl's cash and we went to the Kohl's store in Trexlertown, PA hoping it could be replaced. We were greeted by a friendly Bridget who got her Mgr Steve to assist us. They reviewed the fraudulent charges on our account and spent a lot of time to replace our Kohl's cash. Best visit ever to a department store!

Don’t even bother calling. I’ve called customer service 4 times, all with different issues, and I never get any kind of resolution. They’re also very rude about it. I called once and told them I didn’t get the correct refund amount back on a return and they told me not to set my expectations high, I wouldn’t be getting the money back, but they wouldn’t get me a reason why. All I got was that’s how it is. Sometimes you don’t get the refund you’re expecting. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

I would NEVER order from Kohl's Again in Life! I recommend No one does. Their customer service is almost impossible to comprehend. I called because my order was cancelled and No one there can tell me why. On top of that it took them 20 seconds to take the money out of my account and I have yet to receive a refund. They would not provide either. Said I could return to Return Center 9998 All Points Parkway Plainfield, IN 46168 and pay for it myself or return to store which is 30 miles away. Look at the reviews on other sites for kohls they are BAD. I will never do business with kohls again and suggest others to do the same. If you order online and need to return an item you may be stuck with the item or paying to have it shipped back. Money out of your pocket because of their inferior product.
