When i started with KONTOFX. I didn't believe it is happening. I knew nothing about the market and my account manager showed me everything i need. KONTOFX is for everyone with ambition and goals. I want to say thanks to my account manager and the support team for the kind helpp. :))

Since my last review last week, pointing out why I consider KontoFX to be a SCAM, they have refunded me 2k. However, KontoFX still have 10k to refund to me and to close my KontoFX account, as I requested.
My bank state that KontoFX have put my money in to a Barclay account and have requested it back. If KontoFX are not a scam, as they claim, then I expect to see my 10k also refunded into my bank account.

KontoFX is a clever operation that has fooled some bright people into thinking it's a legitimate opportunity but it's not and I'm writing this in the hope that nobody else will be taken for a ride.

Just think about that for a moment - You hand over your money and there's NO legal recourse to get it back. You're left feeling stupid, much poorer and then you have the team continuing to make false promises, trying to weasel their way out of things.

When I say you're better off burning your money, you actually are. Your loss will be the same and you won't have the headache of chasing up a refund you'll likely never get.

Having looked into what the KontoFX team do extensively here's a few things you should absolutely know:

• Look at the 1 star reviews others have written. They give a detailed account similar to mine of what happens when you give KontoFX an inch.

• When they get you on the phone, they figure out your hopes from your investment and then play on that. Any info you give them will be used to close you on dealing with them. No matter how well it appears they get your goals, do NOT transfer any money.

• Their software platform is rigged. 100%. Not even up for debate. Commonly, when you first invest you'll see your "profits" increase substantially so it looks like you've made a killer investment. They'll allow you to withdraw a small amount so they look credible and that's when they'll try upsell you into a bigger investment (that you will NEVER see again).

• When you ask for a refund because you finally clock on to what's happening, your "profits" (aka made up profits that were never really there to begin with) will dive and you'll get the excuse that something happened in the market when really, someone just manualy decided to clean your account so it looks more like a failed investment on your part.

Also note: They're unlicensed. They know about as much about trading as the average 5 year old. That doesn't matter though as once they have your money they're doing about as much trading as the average 5 year old too. Zero.

There are dozens of accounts from people who have lost a small fortune with KontoFX online. Some well hidden, some out in the open.

These people have probably been swayed by positive reviews which as previously stated are either fake, or at best really biased reviews from businesses that have a financial interest in getting you to deposit (affiliates).

Don't fall for the KontoFX scam because you've heard that crypto is the next gold rush - these guys certainly aren't the ones that will make you any money from the crypto boom and they should be avoided at ALL COSTS.

It all started well, I invested an initial £5.5k and saw steady gains over the course of 5 months, and then went from one trader over to another, and went down £6k in one day's trading and £4k in another.
A) Zero contact from Konto on this - yes they did try to call, but I asked them not to call during business hours, I cannot take calls, and the one time they did call out of hours, it was obviously them (0203 number) but silence and then a hang up.
B) I don't even know who my account is being handled by now. Megan Knightley was the last person I know of there, but made such an inept effort to try and give me an insurance contract (!), that I just laughed at her - I deal a bit with contracts and governments so while not great, I can spot obvious BS when I see it.
C) No stop-losses on the trades - individual trades were down over 10% of the entire pot - either the new guy is reckless or they are trying to sabotage the account on purpose.
They have not been answering the phone, responding to emails, nothing - and I am taking this further - its off to the FCA now.

*** Rebuttal - so we have Konto's reply. Here is what actually happened:

On April 16, my account was handed over from Megan Knightley to an as yet unknown trader. Yes they did try to contact me 2 days later, it was during business hours. I cannot take personal calls during business hours. Period. I then called them and told them as much - the next day they tried to call me twice at 7:30am - I was in the shower. The number being a 0203 number, you cannot call back to. That Friday they tried again, silence on the phone for 16 seconds and then a hang up.
In the mean time, the account is down first £6k and then £4k the following week - they only traded on my account in 2 days in the entire period - and I STILL do not know who to contact - yes I had Whats App details, for the PREVIOUS traders, not the new person. (Those previous traders incidentally have removed their sim cards, no chance of contacting them).
So - long story short, I am caught in a bind, I have sent emails (2) and many dozens of attempts to call their landline, they picked up twice and I asked the new account manager to call - they were unable to connect me or furnish me with his details.
Finally as for the insurance contract Megan presented me with and my rejection (and laughter) - Insurance contracts do not contain obvious spelling mistakes and major grammatical errors, they do contain terms and conditions (this one didn't, it was 2 pages).
It was when I sent them a message over the website that expressly forbade them from trading on my account from that point on and the immediate closure of the account that they were very quickly back to me. My new account manager will contact me later today (after 5pm...). This is 14 days without knowing who he is, and in which time £10k has disappeared off the value of the account.

Well Im back again since I made a review a month or so ago I am still no closer to getting my money I have been requesting. I see they have marked my review as not being within the guide lines of Trust pilot? I guess they cant handle the truth? All I did was tell them what they were doing, or not doing, as in pay me my money and close my account. I have since emailed several times with no reply. I have emailed there customer assistance department only to get a reply to say someone will contact me soon, what a joke.
