Landrover Shepperton is the worse place…

Landrover Shepperton is the worse place ever.
: can't get my vehicle information right, called it a TDS4 when it's a TDS6, has it as a 2.0L Diesel when its a 3.0L.
: informed that the service would be finished by 12md, when we went to pick it up we were informed that it would be another 2-3 hr?????
:Paperwork stated that the service was finished at 1pm.
:went back at 3pm and the car was ready and out side on the street. No one informed us the car was ready.
:service description states that "carry out complimentary wash and vacuum" if it was why was there still the grass from my husbands shoe on the mat?????
After stopping to fill up with petrol the service light came back on, (i have just found out it's not the service light but the engine light) I phoned the next day to inform them of such, to bring back when I was at Shepperton next.
Took my car in and was told that there is a O2 sensor fault. Funny thing is that the service description states "a full diagnostic check has been performed on your vehicle" Here is my card ring and book in at your convenience.
Never go near them not good service. This is not my first dealing with Landrover, have used Albury Landrover when we lived near there, THEY ARE THE BEST I HAVE BEEN TO< GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. While living in Queensland went to Maroochydore Landrover and even got good service from them. Shepperton big thumb down

Disorganised

I bought a Defender in 2021, just when the warranties changed from 3 years to 5 years. To their credit (and no doubt financial detriment!) I received an e-mail saying they have also extended mine to 5 years. But it took about 3 tries before I eventually got through to their Customer Service that they need to update their system - they kept on saying they will do it right away and then just did nothing.

My Defender has now collapsed under warranty, the front suspension air balloon has a leak. Of course this just had to happen 2 days before the 3-year warranty expired, so I had to fight them to get the 5 year warranty. I am in the queue with thousands of others worldwide, waiting for parts. Because mine is under warranty I got a cheapie rental which is better than nothing, and would be better than what others outside warranty would get.

The service staff at both dealers I have dealt with issue random dates of when the part will arrive and it was only after I insisted they look into it better that they have now advised an ETA of 5 April, a full month after I took the car in, even then it is just an ETA that could change at any time.

I nevertheless find the service staff courteous and professional, they do what they can and are affected by what really is a shonk manufacturer that should stop selling cars in Australia (and the rest of the world for that matter) - how people that bad and disorganised stay in business defies any form of logic.

As for the Defender, it is an English car, what was I thinking when I bought the stupid thing? Nice enough to drive (no match for my X5 though) and if you are into snobbery and high society then buy one and suffer the maintenance consequences, but if you need a car for the harsh conditions and distances of Australia then do what everybody else do: buy a Ford Ranger or a Toyota of sorts.

Landrover Parramatta and Landrover…

Landrover Parramatta and Landrover Australia are the worst dealers ever deal with. They have been selling display cars to the customers for the price of brand new vehicle. Parts were missing and removed while on display. After 4 days of delivery Rangerover Evoque 2023 (Lemon car of the year) was given major engine trouble (vibration of the engine with burning smell) and tow back to the dealer. No parts available in Australia to fix it. No ETA. They keep our car and money. When we ask for refund Kenny Lam - sales manager parramatta, pass the ball to Landrover Australia. When we call Landrover Australia asking us to go back to parramatta dealer. We are going back and forth without resolutions.
Be careful and don’t deal with them.
