Best avoid Lendova
Tried refinancing our primary home with Lendova. The amount of documentation they required to go through a straightforward refi was much longer than the list of documents that someone would need for naturalization. We must have submitted at least 30+ documents and responses to various queries throughout the process. And our total assets were almost 2x the loan amount requested (which we were converting from a jumbo to conventional with a paydown). No liabilities other than current mortgage and one on a rental property.
After stringing us along for a month, it got rejected for debt to income ratio - when all the income information was shared very early in the process. Tanner Holland, the loan agent, though courteous and prompt, was not really willing to offer additional options. Probably couldn't care less for real customer service since the refi market is hot.
All these internet only loan providers are essentially bait and switch shops. Better to go with smaller brick and mortar banks or credit unions. What little loss you make with slightly higher APR is compensated for by a quick approval. Avoid this institution.
