I would not recommend purchasing any…

I would not recommend purchasing any sofa from Leon's on Suntract Road, Weston, ON. Purchased this sofa on March 22, 2024 and after 3 days of receiving this, all the cushions started to sinking in and when leaning back, having very bad back sores. Ended up in a back brace to hopefully heal the soreness. Leon's refused to replaced the cushions since I purchased an 5 year warranty. The total cost $1400 which was my budget.

Had a technician from Leon's to inspect the sofa and gave them a total lie mentioning there is nothing wrong with sofa. Also took photos of it as well. So therefore, I took photos of everything.

Leon's manager in the customer service just discriminated me 3 times because of my hearing whereas I wear 2 hearing aids saying you are only hearing what you want to hear. They also mentioned that I should pay for a higher density foam $200 more than what the sofa is worth. The chaise has a half/half firm and less thickness. When leaning back on the sofa makes you feel your reclining on an airplane.

Do not buy any sofa from Leon's as they will make you pay for cancellation fee $500-750 as well if you want to return it which is less than what you actually paid.

I do not trust replacing the foam at no charge and will end up with same issue 3 days later. Never heard of a higher density foam compare to the one that comes with sofa. Nothing like this was ever mentioned from salesperson.

The sofa at store felt firm as to why I chosen it and after receiving it now feels very soft. This is not a firm sofa at all.

I am not very happy with sofa at all and nothing is getting resolved.

I would not recommend the Leon's…

I would not recommend the Leon's mattress to anyone planning to use it for an extended period. Initially, the mattress maintained good quality for about 8 to 12 months, but after that, it quickly lost its durability. Despite spending $1,300 CAD, we noticed significant sinking and began experiencing backaches within just a year. After an inspection, which only showed a half-inch of sinking, Leon's customer service informed us that this was not considered sufficient deterioration. It seemed they implied it wasn't enough damage—perhaps not enough to our health. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this mattress to anyone.

I have to say this is the worst…

I have to say this is the worst experience I have ever had. We purchased a couch and love seat set 1 year ago it is electric. After delivery we noticed the one seat on hour love seat was really uncomfortable and made knocking notices when opened. The seat was extremely uncomfortable but all other seat where perfect. We contacted Leon's. We purchased the gold plan. They told us they were going to send us a technician. Great... So we thought. They told us that the part is in back order but the one section of the love seat needs to be replaced. It was missing layers and wasn't working correctly. 6 weeks go by we contact Leon's and they tell us the part is still on order. And it would be another 6 weeks. We call again and they told us they have no record and that they needs photos of the couch. Which is all ready on file I helped the technician flip the love seat to take them. After a couple weeks of arguing with them them after receiving our photos they told us they all ready had the photos. They told us they where reordering the parts and would have to wait 6 weeks and a technician would repair our love seat. 3 months go by nothing. Now our sofa is making a grinding noise when opening. We call them and again they don't have our part. At the same time all our USB ports stopped working. They send another technician. He looks at the sofa and says it needs an motor replacement and looked at our love seat. He informs us that the section on the love seat never should have made it through Quality Control. He points out that it is missing layers of cushion the motor isn't even part of the build! And that the whole section should be replaced the whole seat. We wait after a long conversation between the technician and his boss. He told us he would put another report in but he doubts they will do anything. So yesterday I'm putting my seat down and it stops workinging fully extended. I'm stuck! Because of my back pain I couldn't get out of the seat. I grab the arm and pull myself up! In the process the arm gets ripped and I noticed after getting out it is missing stitching. I'm very angry now. I call Leon's and they tell me there is no order on file or work order. It has been over a year and we have to go through a different company! You can imagine how I feel now! I told them no! This has been going on for an entire year and they have to fix them they are literally falling apart. I asked to speak to a manager and she comes on the phone. She tells me there is nothing she can do until her supervisor comes back in today. Survivor? Your the dang manager. She informs me is is an acting manager for the day! Here I am still waiting. Please DONT BUY FROM LEONS OR USE FLEXITI! THE WORST FINANCING PLACE. I PAID EVERY MONTH ON TIME SAME DAY AMD THEY DEFAULTED ME TO FULL INTEREST BECAUSE OF A THREE DAY WINDOW!
sorry for the punctuation errors I am very frustrated. We spent almost 5000 on this set and it has been nothing but problems and run arounds on repairs. Don't buy from Leon's please learn from our mistake. Whitby Leon's is the worst!
I feel they should honor their repairs and stop giving the run around. If your third party technicians are unreliable they should be contacting the customers for a follow up rather then give them excuses. I used to really like Leon's. I used to buy all my furniture and electronics but not now. They need to start focusing on customer issues and focus on repairing the mistakes.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Avoid Leons! Ordered a GE dryer to Mississauga on Sunday Apr 7, 2024 from them and the delivery was scheduled right away in 2 days. Then I missed a call for 2 min. Called back no one took the phone. Now they say they can deliver in one month!!! Can't cancel too. So terrible. Avoid

I’d have left zero stars if I could.

I can’t say enough about the terrible service we received the last time we were there. We have been customers for about five years; made several purchases with no problem at all. This time we got a sales person who saw an old couple….one blind…..one deaf…..and took advantage of us. We, of course have to take some responsibility for the horrible product we received, as we didn’t insist on seeing, and trying out the recliners we ended up with. Far too large. Far too soft. Far too expensive for the lousy quality of the chairs. We’ve been using them only for fourteen days and already the stuffing in the seat is shifting, so it’s getting lumpy. Yes, I’m a bit of a chunky woman, 160 cm tall and 71 kg, but that shouldn’t cause the kind of damage that we’ve experienced in such a short time.

Plus, the sales person was high on something; giving her the benefit of the doubt, perhaps it was pain killers, as she held herself in a rather stiff way except when she sat down, at which time, she seemed to go completely boneless.

For whomever might care, the salesperson’s name was Birgit.

Horrible experience in the shark pool

Horrible experience. When you go in to Leon's, it is like sharks are circling - aggressive men wanting to get the sale, and what is even worse is they involve the customer in their survival game by trying to control who the customer talks to. This is in the Calgary location. Then, when we ordered something, which we now regret, they claim that the order is "delayed" by 2 months, because it is a "special order" - something that was displayed on the floor as an available item. We will never buy anything from there again, and urge anyone to avoid it.

Hateful store with many annoying unsolicited phone ads

About 7 years ago, I bought a chair from Leon's. For delivery purposes, Leon's was given my name, address and phone number. In the last few years, I have been getting unsolicited telephone calls from Leon's whenever Leon's has a sale. This is extremely annoying. Because I am hard of hearing, I cannot follow their phone instruction to call a certain number to STOP Leon's telephone ads. I am very, very annoyed with Leon's and will NEVER AGAIN purchase anything from this hateful store.

Really disgusted by their service 😒 Bought 3 beds, expected delivery was 6-10 weeks which is already long. After 8 weeks, we call them and learn that the delivery is called off by not days ..but another 6 weeks !! You just wait..omg 😲

Our business gone forever!

My wife and I purchased two new love seats. After waiting 2 weeks we went to pick them up. Within 3 days the furniture we bought were both defective. Back brace on the back of one broke and when I sat on one side, there was a tearing sound. When I got up I put my hand in the side and felt the fabric had completely ripped. Disappointing, but not nearly as disappointed as service we received when we returned to talk to someone at the store. Speaking to one of the sales reps who told us the likely hood of that happening was 6% "once in a blue moon." Surprisingly he was more set on finding who our sales rep was originally because "he'd have to be the one to fix it". (The original rep was not in that day). We looked around for other pieces and the rep seemed less interested to assist and help us find an alternative. Still wanting to purchase something from Leon's and making it very clear we asked to talk to a manager. She was very unhelpful and was unwilling to assist us with any kind of deal for the inconveniences we experienced. She continually shared different customer examples that had defective furniture in an attempt to have us be settled with the experience. From the sales rep to Manager we were becoming increasingly disappointed. Yet still we were offering our business to them. We found a new set and the manager said the best she could do was offer a 60 day price guarantee (opposed to their 30 day). She felt this was fair enough. They didn't even stand behind the product they were selling stating that we should buy Canadian "it's better made". The original love seat was USA manufactured. None the less the the Sales Rep and Manager didn't seem to enthused to help, in fact the rep made it seem like we were troubling him. Coming from the sales industry I can only assume this was because he had nothing invested in this sale. Yet he's been with the company for 19 years. As a manager in the sales industry- I was astonished by the lack of professionalism and desire to work with a disgruntled customer. Instead of listening and even taking a moment to think about our situation, she continued to offer examples of other customers issues. How this interests me or even attempts to rectify our situation is questionable. How does other customers issues play a role in mine? Except to highlight there are apparently several quality issues. In the end we took a couple days to think about it and then made the decision to call them and have come pick up the broken furniture and refund us. There was zero attempt to keep our business at any point through this terrible experience had at Leon's in Windsor. The end result: we will never step foot in the store again, we will promote this experience with family and friends and eventually get new furniture from a competitor. And the ripple effect continues...as I am writing this review my wife called me from the Brick. After the sales rep explained they were owned by Leon's she turned around an walked out. As a manager in the sales industry I treat every customer with the intent to build a beneficial relationship for both parties. Therefore every deal matters, every issue matters and is treat with individual treatment. A bit of free advice should anyone involved what the business to grow.

Dont buy from here

Dont buy from here this is an AWFUL company with shady sales tactics. !KITCHENER LOCATION! They have screwed another person over the same way they screwed me over less than 5 months ago, so they know what they are doing and didn't resolve that issue either. I'm unlikely to get my money back or an exchange.

I refused to buy a mattress cover because I have one at home. Sales person did not explain to me that if I didn't buy one of their overpriced covers that they wouldn't honour an exchange policy. My mother was there with me, so I have another person to confirm she did not explain this to me. You don't think that if I was told that not buying that voids the exchange/returns that I wouldn't have bought it? Of course I would have. But no one explained it to me. Fast forward 2 days and they refuse to return or exchange my mattress as it's so hard I can't sleep on it and it's causing me pain.

I called, got hung up on 4 times while they were trying to transfer me over the phone. The GM, Daniel Lefebvre, claimed he'd talk to his sales person to 'confirm she never told me this and has 25 years of experience and would never lie even though she gets a commission from your sale' and of course calls me back to double down on this - that his employee doesn't lie. Tells me I signed the papers and I should have read the fine print.

This is a BAD customer experience and I'm out 1000 dollars with a mattress that I can't use. Do not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give this zero stars I would. Never again will I step foot in this store and I will ensure everyone I know is warned about this place and how they would rather screw people over instead of work with them for a better customer experience. I'll be cross posting this review on all my socials as well to make people aware.

Great delivery after initially poor experience

Just had a professional delivery with Nakulesh and his team. We experienced a very poor delivery attempt on March 2 with a different team. They were rude and unprofessional, especially the team leader. However, delivery with Nakulesh was a breeze. The whole team was very efficient and worked quickly to assemble the couches we had ordered. Thank you Nakulesh and team!

Made a purchase which was to arrive…

Made a purchase which was to arrive within 2 weeks, arrived more than 1 month later with no communication to us, we had to keep calling and asking for a date. Their customer service and phones are HORRENDOUS! Hang ups, can't transfer calls, no call backs. Purchase of washer and dryer arrived and their is an issue. It's been 4 days of calling and since the delivery and NOBODY is calling us back, always the same excuse, they are busy, with a client, will back and no to no avail do we get a call back. I have a washer and dryer that has been fully paid for sitting here and cannot be used or returned or issued resolved. I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from Leon's and I have been a customer for over 25 years! We have NEVER had such horrible service with ANY product.

What a disaster!

What a disaster!! A Christmas present for my daughter who is disabled. Leons tried to have her pay more, it was all paid for, they sent an installer who wanted to charge her more. No resolve yet but was transferred to every rude and useless customer service rep with no solution or apology given. They are truly incompetent and take noooooooo accountability. Home Depot is the best!

Have Leon's open boxes before delivery to confirm the pieces are intact

We ordered a chest of drawers and waited two months for delivery. Then waited another week for the tech to assemble. When he opened the box, the parts for the chest of drawers was broken! Now we have to wait another two months for an unbroken chest of drawers! Ask the delivery people to open the boxes prior to delivery to confirm the furniture pieces are intact!

I have a complaint against the delivery we received on 6th Dec.


the workers of Leon didn't bring our sofa to our apartment due to the narrow upstairs. I asked them to please try it but they refused and said if it doesn't pass the stairs, we don't carry it anymore to the delivery truck... I was afraid of what would happen. then I asked to carry it to my garage.

then I asked someone else to carry it from the balcony with its lift truck by 400 payment.
when they arrived, they told me it was carriable from the stairs, and they carried the sofa from the stairs easily.
