John booth and his amazing work made my experience with this service better than I expected. I had 6 interviews booked only 1 week after working with him and was able to get a salary 20k higher than my previous based on how John was able to lay out my work history/accomplishments, something o struggled with a lot.

Working with Geneva was fantastic. She was able to take my unpolished write-up of accomplishments and turn it into a coherent set of details that better represented me as a worker. While it's hard to know if the updated resume "got me a new job", I at least felt confident throughout my time searching for a new position that my resume wasn't going to be a hindrance.

I was skeptical at first. Spending a sum of money I am quite attached to is a big deal and I want to make sure I am getting a return on my investment. This company did not disappoint. I received an initial resume review and follow up call from Matthew. I found this very reassuring. Then they put Katy on my case and she was amazing. Very professional and asked all the right questions. The finished product, including a LinkedIn refresh, are beyond what I expected.

My writer helped me take my resume, cover letter, and LI profile to the next level. She was wonderful to work with, responsive, offered suggestions for improvement, and asked great questions to get some hard evidence and results of my work into my resume.

I contacted LGE in late January to inquire about their resume and LinkedIn optimization services as I was looking to transition to a new job. Having heard positive reviews about LGE's services on the Career Warrior podcast, I had high expectations. I believed that their work would enhance my visibility on LinkedIn and result in more interview opportunities.

However, upon sharing the final products with my peers, including recruiters in my field, the feedback was not as positive as I had hoped. They felt that the resume made me appear incompetent, overqualified, and uninteresting. Similar concerns were raised about my LinkedIn profile, with some describing it as "keyword-stuffed." I shared this feedback with LGE's COO, Matthew Villanueva, and while he believed the resume was good, he expressed concerns about my LinkedIn profile. He did provide some recommendations and I agreed to follow up with him the next week.

During our follow-up conversation, I presented data showing that the resume and LinkedIn profile were performing poorly, with metrics declining. While I understand that resumes and LinkedIn optimizations do not guarantee interviews, I had expected to see some improvement. However, it was disheartening to find that my old resume was outperforming the one created by LGE. Instead of addressing the issues, Matthew seemed disinterested. He indicated that a rewrite of the resume and LinkedIn profile was not possible and offered a 50% refund instead of a full refund.

I find it disappointing that despite the data and market feedback suggesting that the resume was not effective, LGE stood by their work. This experience has led me to question the professionalism and integrity of the services provided, especially in contrast to the positive image they portray on their podcasts and other media platforms. It appears that their focus may be more on financial gain and capitalizing on desperate job seekers rather than delivering a high-quality product for a steep price.

For those reasons, and many more, I cannot recommend Let's Eat Grandma to anyone. Save your money.

Easy to work with resume writer..

It's useful if you have absolutely no experience writing resumes yourself, or are completely lacking time. But it's definitely not worth the price if either of those factors isn't true. My writer used canned phrases and threw them at the top, didn't bother to actually read the resume bullets I had spend weeks putting together for b-school/job applications, and clearly just wanted to be done with the whole thing. This was evident from the initial call where he sounded irritated before I said one word, only to then tell me that actually he didn't have much to change in the bullets themselves (so what was he so annoyed about?). He tried to end that first 20-min call early.

The resume writer, Will! He provided exceptional service in reworking my résumé, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile. He demonstrated expertise, and a genuine commitment to highlighting my strengths. With his attention to detail, Will delivered documents that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Will for anyone seeking top-notch career documents.
