We had used Letsgo2 three times to Dubai (including this holiday). Before now they were excellent, but half way through this holiday we got a call from reception, saying that Letsgo2 had not paid for our accommodation.
Finding that Letsgo2 went bust, we went down to see the very helpful hotel manager. After further investigation, we contacted ATOL who paid for our accommodation in full within 24 hours

Please be advised that this company has entered liquidation. Although Companies House has yet to update its public records — a process that can take some time — customers should exercise considerable caution. The discrepancy between the company’s actual insolvency status and the information currently displayed may result in substantial disruption, financial exposure, and significant distress, particularly for individuals who are already abroad or imminently due to travel.
In our case, the hotel required full payment for the accommodation before departure, as no funds had been received from the travel agent. Despite this, ATOL declined to intervene on the basis that the company still appeared “active” on the Companies House register. This lack of action in circumstances where consumers are left without the services they have paid for is deeply concerning and wholly unacceptable. 😔
Prospective and current customers should therefore be fully informed of the risks and take appropriate steps to protect themselves.
Really great
Lisa is a godsend. She’s such a lovely lady and has helped us with our holidays for the last few years, she’s always extremely helpful and has always put up with my fussy nature and sometimes asking for quite a few quotes. She has never once made me feel like I am asking too much. We have always received really competitive pricing and every holiday we have been on has been perfectly organised with transfers etc.

Booked a trip to Dubai staying at 2 hotels with Caroline Moore which was seamless. Even when I wanted a couple of changes, Caroline had the patience of a saint and everything sorted without issue.

Very annoyed!!!!! 😠 Stuck in Dubai and private transfers not turned up with absolutely no numbers to contact transfer or letsgo2. Why even provide a transfer voucher and with no contact details. 15k on a holiday and nearly missed our flight. Had to book a taxi to the airport at our own cost. Last time with let's go2 I'm afraid. When we were stuck in St Lucia at the start of COVID, our flight had been cancelled and all contact with the airline was impossible, LetsGo2 found us seats on the last but one BA flight home. The staff are all really friendly, helpful and professional. We have just booked our next trip with them.

Dubai food poisoning not bothered
Booked Dubai 9 nights in NH Dubai The Palm for our wedding anniversary! booking process spot on as we have booked Dubai with them before and loved it.
Customer service for after sales and complaints is abysmal 😡 I contracted food poisoning from the hotel,(this is the only place we had eaten for the previous 72hrs) and was hospitalized, I have all the test results to prove this from both the Dubai hospital and UK hospital tests! ALONG WITH A 16000 AED MEDICAL BILL on our credit card. yes 16000AED yet this company is saying I couldn't have possibly got it from there as they have had no more complaints. The hotel customer turnaround was vast with most people, from what we witnessed, only staying 1,2 or 3 nights so if they had contracted food poisoning would probably not conect it to this hotel after leaving 1 or 2 days before!
I have asked how I can escalate this issue as our holiday was completely ruined having being ill for 5 days of it ,

I booked earlier in the year and the recently got a payment reminder. I checked the price of the holiday and it had reduced significantly. I rang and asked if they would honour the new price and they said no. So I said I would cancel and rebook as I would still be better off if I lost my initial deposit. they said this was not possible as the reduction in price was due to a new offer by the resort and if i cancelled and rebooked I would be black listed by the resort.
Both of these statements are lies. The reduction in the price is due to the USD/GBP rate changing so i contacted the resort directly and they have no policy to black list customers.
I asked for a call back from a manager that took 3 days and when I finally got the call I was told it was a misunderstanding not a lie. Well I have that misunderstanding in writing from Letsgo2 and I also have the correct understanding from the resort in writing.
I get that holidays change price and I was prepared to forfeit my deposit and still be better off but Letsgo2 just did not want to entertain it. In a time when money is tight and everyone is trying to save money I would expect a little compassion not flat out profiteering.

You told me I would be blacklisted by the resort. I emailed the resort and have in writing from them that they have no such policy. if that is not a lie I don’t know what is.
I would also say to anyone reading this review, even after i cancelled with Letsgo2 and they kept my deposit they refused to confirm their costs to justify keeping my deposit but that aside I still managed to save over £600 by cancelling and rebooking the exact same holiday elsewhere. As the USD rate has changed dramatically recently it would be well worth checking the current price of your holiday today because you may save a considerably amount of money even if you forfeit your deposit
