Unsafe to shop this website

I was not able to complete a purchase because the website is insecure. Specifically, the site lacks an up-to-date security certificate. The certificate expired on Jan. 5, about ten weeks prior to the day I shopped on the site. Not only is this risky; it made me doubt whether the company has its act together and could complete the order, much less handle any complaints about the merchandise.

Confusingly, Letterfolders.com describes itself as "a division of Pop Pop Office." If you go to the Pop Pop Office site, you find that it is "a division of Letter Folders." The two sites both had the item (verified by SKU number), but at two different prices, and each price claimed to a be a discount from a different retail price. All this multiplicity makes me suspicious.

If you buy from them you are taking a chance

Prices seem great but if something goes wrong, watch out. I had the bad luck to buy a defective cash register. After nine months I still haven't gotten a refund or compensation for the original overcharge on my Visa bill or for the money I spent to ship the cash register back to them. When you have to fight with a company for nine months to get what is rightfully owed to you and you get nowhere, it just isn't right. I'm hoping that the consumer protection agency of New Jersey will force them to pay up.
