Simon Caplin is a first rate auctioneer. He was direct and straightforward (unlike many agents), explained the process well. He was honest about the advantages/disadvantages of making an offer before the auction as well.

After having a very tricky situation to deal with Sophia and the whole lettings team have done a brilliant job at putting the issues to rest and giving me peace of mind.

Great service, Simon was proffesional throughout and had an attention to detail I hadnt seen from larger auctioneers I have used previously. I would always use thier services for properties around Brighton and the wider south coast going forward. No issues at all!

James and his team at Lextons were exceptional in their work on my property sale in Brighton. James saw the entire process through from our initial meeting to completion day.

James secured a very good purchase price for my property and provided a comprehensive in house advertising service with excellent professional photography, copywriting and extensive advertising across online platforms. James secured multiple viewings and carried them out personally ensuring that prospective buyers had all the information they required and James was able to answer all questions on the spot having a comprehensive knowledge of the property.

My onward purchase proved unexpectedly complicated and slow going and James went above and beyond to keep my sale on track during this time, using his expertise to help push along my purchase as well despite this not being part of his remit. James never gave up and was always on hand for a call, was easy to talk to and proactive in keeping me up to date with progress.

It's clear that James and his team are enthusiastic about and brilliant at what they do, providing a very personal, proactive and client focused service with very reasonable rates too.

There was nothing negative about my experience and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

The Lextons team successfully rented out our Hove flat for 12 months. Very happy with service and results. Professional and friendly. Will use Lextons again if and when required for any Property service.

We recently bought a house through Lextons and Peter was extremely helpful from start to finish. The property sale took longer than usual to go through but Peter was reassuring and on hand to help in any way he could to try and make it as stress free as possible, even replying out of office hours and whilst on leave where possible! I would highly recommend and will definitely use in the future.

The absolute BEST estate agent we have ever dealt with in Brighton & Hove, in fact, anywhere we have lived! We have bought and sold a lot in B&H over the years and we have never met anyone with the tenacity, dedication and willpower to get her client what they want and need until we decided to sell through Claudia Romano. Lextons has been exceptional to work with on every level. I genuinely cannot recommend Claudia enough - she is the most affable, professional estate agent who communicates with you brilliantly and constantly, even to deliver the grotty news, so you never feel out of the loop. Could not have asked for a better person to sell our property. I will be recommending her to everyone I know who wishes to buy or sell a property.

It is good to find an Estate Agent that likes to do things face to face and not use the phone. So much so that they refuse to answer the phone or return calls. This agent also leaves properties for sale on Rightmove even when they are under offer which makes it a waste of time looking at their adverts only to be told the property is under offer. This practice makes me ignore Lextons when I am looking to buy and if I ever made an offer on a property to know that they are still advertising it does not inspire me with commitment to the purchase. Unless Lextons is advertising your dream home pass them by as there are other more committed agents out there. And as a vendor why go to an agent that does not answer the phone to prospective buyers – a waste of time and money. Lextons need more professional staff and better customer service. BEING UNABLE TO LOCATE MY RECORDS IS YET ANOTHER ISSUE WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICES AND ADDS TO MY REVIEW ABOVE. I WOULD SAY AVOID BUT THEY ALREADY DO THIS BY NOT PICKING UP THE PHONE

Had a very good experience with Lexton's from initial valuation through to completion. I was kept up to date with feedback from the viewings and always got quick responses for any questions along the selling process.

Lextons and special mention to Claudia did a very professional job in selling my late Fathers property . Claudia has her finger on the property market pulse she has a professional but friendly approach and tells you how it is. I would highly recommend their services and would use them again without hesitation.

Can highly recommend James at Lextons, Hove. We just bought a property they were marketing, and whilst I fully appreciate the agent is acting for the seller, not the buyer (and I bear this in mind in writing this), perhaps a buy-side view is also useful? Anyway, from my perspective I found James to be responsive, honest, and a stand-up guy. (Regrettably, I really couldn't say the same about all the agents I came across during my search for a house to buy in Brighton/Hove!) The main aspect I appreciated was his communications, which were always friendly and timely. His follow-up service after we bought was pretty good too, although he was rather hamstrung by the fact that the seller was no longer providing assistance and information, so what he could do for us post-completion was relatively limited. But at least he tried! All in all, James fully deserves his 5 star review. Thanks for being an honest and decent agent. And best of luck for the future. Simon.

The person who manages the property I let is extremely efficient, polite, has excellent customer service skills and generally a really lovely

She always keeps in communication and updates, if she says she will do something she does and has a real can do attitude about her and a happy one at that. A real pleasure to communicate with and a great asset to the company

We recently sold a property in Brighton through Lextons following a failed attempt with another agent. The service provided has been nothing short of superb as we went through, what became, a complex sale process. Both parties had difficulties with their solicitors and without Lextons' constant chasing and helpful interventions it is very likely that the sale would not have reached completion. Would highly recommend to anyone selling in the area.

Fantastic, professionally run local estate agents / Auction house.
Simon who leads the team is brilliant and extremely professional. I believe he went over and beyond in his role.
Nothing was ever to much trouble.
He even sourced a solicitor to read my legal pack and on the day before the auction on probably his busiest day, took time to show me the property again.
