Avoid
Ordered a bottle of Loch Fyne Gin direct from company, it came in bubble wrap and no box.
I contacted then and got a reply from Asha who said it cost extra for the ‘gift set’ with glasses.
I told her I didn’t want glasses just the box.
She told me she would arrange for that.
Skip a couple days and I’m now being told the ‘box’ is extra.
I’m like you know what, this stinks of desperation and I will not use again.

If you think you’re getting a nice bottle for either yourself or a preside, don’t expect a simple box with the item you bought, it’s extra.
Surprised they didn’t charge me for the bottle cap.

Had to give one star cause I can’t give none.

AVOID. £6 for delivery and delivery didn’t arrive. I ordered well in time for Father’s Day and when trying to call the voicemailbox was full and I couldn’t speak to the shop. Calling the second shop only got me through to a member of staff who told me that I bought through the website so they can’t do anything. I sent an email and still waiting for an answer. The postage is a con and the delivery service is awful.

They had some very competitively-priced whiskies on offer. I placed 3 different orders, totalling 6 bottles and each arrived perfectly wrapped with extra care taken to separate the bottle from the cardboard "display case" and each element carefully packed in bubble wrap (even the cardboard!).
Accidents will happen in transporting glass bottles but it's great to see them doing their utmost to make sure they protect our (expensive!) purchases.

Ordered a bottle of Octomore 9.3 as a gift; it arrived damaged (cracked glass and scratched), did absolutely nothing to help. Going to a business party empty handed!!
Avoid by all costs!! Useless.

I returned an order due to the high customs charges involved. I wrote three times with no response from LFW. After confirming that their couriers had returned the product, I called LFW and spoke to Neil, who runs their online business. He promised to write to me and refund "as much as possible". No message and no refund after more than a month. Worst (and most expensive) online experience yet. One star is overly generous.

I have to admit that I have to rewrite a review here as this company has exceeded my expectations with all recents orders. I had one poor experience a while ago and received a sincere apology and a nice gift. All my recent orders have been very well packaged and all were shipped very quickly. Prices are fantastic and I really enjoy shopping here...... Thanks
