Horrible website should be a red flag
Horrible website should be a red flag. Absolutely full end-to-end of typos, both of the grammatical variety, and the obvious red-squiggly-underline variety. Nearly impossible to find matching products (that is: things that work together - there is no association between a part and the support products it requires, such as a USB module, Bluetooth module, or display).
No communication after ordering, either - I was only notified by UPS that something was shipped, about 1-1/2 weeks after I ordered it (and was considering canceling, if I could). When I got it, I needed the app for Bluetooth - and their site has a line item that almost literally says "For the mobile app, download it here. For the new mobile app, download here. Here is the latest mobile app", with 3 different links to 3 different files in that block of text. The "latest" app is a .rar file containing an Android .apk - which you won't know until you get an app that can open a .rar (um, hey guys, how about just linking to the extracted .apk which is already compressed?) Adjacent to it, it says "Here are the app instructions", and that link just links to the app itself - which contains no directions.
You end up installing an app, which prompts you for a password to connect. A password that you have no way of knowing, with no documentation.
Oh, and the LCD screen I bought, though it is advertised as a compatible UART display for their BMSes, has a different connector. So now I'm left fumbling that around too, trying to figure it out.
I don't understand how a company can make products with near-zero documentation and expect people to be happy with it.
