UPDATED: Our initial enquiry was answered in a timely manner and a consultation booked in with our local sales designer, Enzo. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the company, the product and also the different price points, taking us through a range of option combinations to find one we liked best. From that meeting to completion was about 6 weeks - no wait at all, only emailed once to request an installation date and it was booked in the next day (thank you to India for your prompt responses there!). The surveyor was efficient and the installation crew were very hard-working and tidy, putting up with interference from our nosy cats, with good humour.
The difference is notable. Our new door and frame are beautiful, the stained glass is exactly how I hoped it would be, the draught is GONE and it opens/closes so smoothly. I have a tiny regret about the side windows, which I probably should have tied in with the door window a bit more, but from outside you cannot see this and it is too easy to get carried away with the many options available. Overall verdict - really really pleased and would definitely recommend!
Only downside… I really want to decorate all the other bits of the house now to match our beautiful door.
Update: the door began sticking, the bottom no longer flush to the frame, the lock difficult to turn a key in… had to wait 3-4 weeks for someone to come out and they took the lock off, cleaned it, fixed it and it was closing smoothly again (this was the start of Jan) but now…start of Feb, it has happened again. The door doesn’t seem to want to close as though something is in the way (draught excluder perhaps?) and the lock is difficult as a result. Really disappointed that the door so far has had a monthly issue. Watch this space…

We cannot fault the london door company/ from the moment amanda came to quote to the 2 lovely men who installed the door. They were absolutely fantastic, such a polite manner and so clean and tidy and efficient.

I was fortunate to have a new front door through the London Door Company. It was a decision well made.
The door is beautiful, and extremely secure . The workmanship is superb.
The two door fitters were excellent, they went above and beyond. It was a huge job as I had to have a complete new frame. They were meticulous, no mess what so ever.

I just changed a door in Ealing Broadway . Terrible service - after the installed the door, we started smelling a strange smell in the corridor - we called the fire safety and they found a leak on the gas pipes - this was likely to be caused by moving the doors drilling. Unfortunately the plumber could not demonstrate that problem was caused by the door change so I had to pay 1,200£ for new gas pipes outside. I really regret the new door- I advise to opt for a company that is more careful with the floor of the house- this has been a big damage.

Great service from the initial design stage to the installation. Excellent range of door types, stained glass etc. Very helpful staff at all stages. I definitely recommend the London Door Company.

When the company first visited my home, they offered expert advice on which door would best complement the style and character of the house. Initially, I had my eye on a more expensive option, but it turned out not to be the right fit for the period of the property. I'm so glad they guided me toward the perfect choice—it looks absolutely stunning now!

The installation team was incredibly professional, courteous, and hardworking. They took great care throughout the process, even cleaning up thoroughly and disposing of all the debris. Now that everything’s complete, my neighbours haven’t stopped complimenting how beautiful the door looks. I shared a photo on Facebook too, and the response from friends and family was overwhelmingly positive.

Richard the designer was very good at adapting his style to our impatient ways. He helped with design when asked but didn't over do it.
The door is nicer than we expected! - it's solid, secure but has a cheerful design and lets more light in than we expected.

London door company is very good when it comes to the sale but after that the customer service is not good, our doors had to be repainted at the beginning and the person sent took ages to do the work, now after some months parts of the doors came out and you can see the locks, also one of the doors was not well fixed at the top leading to the door not being able to open and close. I have asked for an emergency appointment and I am still waiting to hear from them.

We just had our new door installed and couldn't be happier! It's really beautiful and although it was pricey, we both feel that it is really good quality and you can tell. The fittings are really stunning and it's very secure, a lot better than what we had before! Our fitters were incredibly hard working and they did a brilliant job.

This company fitted a really lovely door for me in January. The fitting is very good as it should be for nearly £9 grand! The painter although lovely managed to get paint on the doorstep that i'm not sure how to remove. I also have a problem with the glass steaming up and although it disappears i'm not sure in the long term whether it will leave residue. The paint chips very easily (Luckily they leave small pots of touch up paint) and also the brass door hardware scratches easy too! I think time will tell whether this was a good investment or not!

The door, the stain glass and the door furniture are all stunning and well crafted.
The fitters Roberto and Sandel were amazing on the day and worked tirelessly to ensure the door was completed in a day.

The way the sun light streams thru the glass and into the hall is just magical.

Sounds daft but may favourite bit is how the door sounds when it closes... heavy with a swoosh. love that!

The overall service received from London Door co has been excellent. Right from the start their attention to detail has been impressive and nothing seemed too much trouble.

But it was the door fitter who was the icing on the cake. He arrived on time with a cheerful demeanour and answered our many questions courteously, with none of that bored eye rolling of some workmen. He took time to ensure the door fitted perfectly and that door knobs, knockers and alarm system were positioned exactly where we wanted. On completion, he cleared away all debris leaving the hall immaculate and with small pots of paint in the new door colour for our future use. It had been a pleasure having him in our home. Such an ambassador for London Door Company.

We are delighted with our smart, modern door, with the extra security it brings and the accurate fitting that has eliminated all draughts.

They were very responsive during the design process -- a new front door is not a cheap piece of kit and they took the time and trouble to get the small details right, which means we ended up with just what we were looking for. Complicated fanlights meant quite a bit of extra work (and extra visits) for the fitters but it was all very well done.

I'm quite a difficult customer, so after a couple of issues regarding payments and procedures, we paid the deposit and the process started. From start to completion took about 2 months. The main point is that we are very pleased with the end product. It is a beautifully crafted door with stained glass. A work of art! The fitters were well trained and got the job done in a day.

We used London Door Company to replace our front door in our previous home so did not hesitate to contact them again when we wanted to replace the front door in our new home.
From start to finish the service received was first class. Everyone involved during the process was knowledgable and incredibly helpful and professional- nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for another wonderful job!
