Visited Boots in Meadowhall in Sheffield, the customer service I have received from the lady that was working on L’Oréal department was absolutely amazing! I explained to her that I never tried L’Oréal foundation and she did my entries face with the foundation, completed it with concealer and blush! L'oreal Elvive colour protect Purple Shampoo. Just spoken with L'Oreal customer service (actually no service provided). Bought the item a week or so ago. Used it for 1st time two days ago. My hands were purple for a day and a half after. The CS operative said its terms of use are wear gloves but there isn't anything on the bottle to specify that. Ive used other products like it with no problem at all. He thanked me for letting them know but no mention of any refund. He didn't really seem to be interested in my complaint, however, looking on the Amazon review site, it appears other customers have had same experience. I told him I will be disposing of the product and the conditioner with a view to never buying again. he wasn't bothered. 1 star is generous.

You cannot leave negative reviews on their website. Complete malpractice. Will never buy their products and won’t recommend to anyone.

My review I tried on their website for Loreal mens expert deep exfoliator:
“ Contain particles which will never dissolve
I have been using this product for a while and had been careful with it, avoiding eyes area. Today accidentally something went in my eye and it’s hurting like hell. I have tried a lot of drop and tried washing it with water too but not coming out. Leaving for A&E. if you’re making something for face then at least do not use stuff which doesn’t dissolve at all. It’s been approx 12 hours now and my eye is still not clearing after all the drops and water efforts. Wouldn’t recommend as it’s not a safe product”.

Their reply, “ Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!”

Rude and Indifferent

This company represents the Matrix Biolage products line. We bought the Scalp Sync dandruff shampoo. It caused hair shedding and loss. When my wife contacted customer services, the rep was petty and downplayed the whole thing. We researched this matter further and other customers had reported similar adverse reactions to this particular shampoo. We reported this company to the FDA. We tried to leave a poor rating on Google maps and the business kept flagging it for spam. Seriously?

I recently had an allergic reaction to one of L’Oréal skin care products and contacted their customer care people. After giving extensive and personal details to them, I heard nothing for three weeks. So I contacted them again when I was offered a refund for the product and when pushed, a £10 voucher as a ‘sorry’ gesture. To add insult to injury, I did not receive a cheque as promised so I contacted them again asking to escalate my complaint. I was promised a call today from someone from customer care but this evening have heard nothing….AGAIN!! Non existent Customer Care!!

It didn’t work I used a hair dye and read the instructions carefully got my hairdresser to do it for me it singed her hands WITH gloves on burned her and gave her blisters the hair colour didn’t even work I wouldn’t recommend using L’Oréal anymore

I bought L'oreal Pure Retinol night serum
I have never had an allergic reaction to cosmetics and have used L'oreal products in the past. This product made my face sting and come out in red blotches all over. A really bad burning reaction! Beware! I would not recommend this product, I have read other reviews about his product where people have had the same skin reaction. It has put me off buying L'oreal products altogether.

Wish I had a minus stars option for…

Wish I had a minus stars option for this company. I will never purchase another L'Oréal product again!! 4 months, 8 phone calls, 6 mails later and no response. I have contacted customer service in North America and Europe, sent all the info as requested regarding a defect Mascara and they just do not respond back. I used to use the, skincare line, makeup and hair products from this brand but no longer. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
