To any CGI artist considering working with Luda Studios Australia

To any CGI artist considering working with Luke Hurdman and Luda Studios i strongly recommend against it.
You will spend more time chasing them for payment then the time you spend on the job (if you get paid at all).
They take their 50% deposit from the client before they start working on the project (standard practice),but will drag out your request for a deposit (its not standard practice for them) and expect you to start work without one.
They will expect you as a freelancer to get paid on one of two days of the month (like an employee).. but without the protection of a contract.
You will get told that certain payment methods dont work in Australia even though they do.
They will recomend payment options to you they dont even use and make you go out your way to open crypto accounts only to be told "oh sorry we cant pay you with that method"
You will more then likely deal with Luke Hardman that will tell you hes in charge of dealing with the artists (but Andy actually wears the pants in this one) and when it comes time to any decision reguarding anything payment related, you will be told that he has to run it by Andy which means its not getting done.

Im not sharing this review to hurt their business.
Im sharing it from one artist to another and the struggles we all go through with clients and their empty promises with payments while they make so much money off us. Im sharing this so that no artists loose any time or money by working with them.

If you are a business considering using them please rather support a company that values and supports their artists.
