I contacted Luxaflex on 21st March, filled out a form to arrange a consultation. Email came through to acknowledge my request. I haven't heard anything back. Is this how you run your business?
I wanted to edit my original review but I can't so here is an update.
9 Blinds across three rooms.
Initial issues: one blind didn't work and needed to be remade.Another had issues and was eventually remade - after install it was evident it was far too long and had to be remade again.
In the meantime lots of issues with blinds dropping off schedules or just not operating from the remote. We added a wifi gateway to improve signal to no avail. Realised blinds were randomly losing their times in their inbuilt clocks so dropping off schedules. Had to factory reset them all. Gateway proved poor so added a wired in gateway which proved much better. All seemed stable ... for couple of weeks. Then One blind would stop half way and refuse to do anything apart from creep downwards an inch at a time, then 24 hours later another started same issue. Engineer comes couple weeks after this and reflashed all the 3 blinds in the living room after detecting issues with all 3. They are now worse than ever - seem to have been installed with conflicting firmware and just do random things and options are no longer available on the app for them. They beep 3 times when open indicating power losss when batteries are full, don't close properly - get to bottom and then go up several inches, two open and stop about ten inches from the top and one goes tight to the top and you can no longer adjust this on the app! At this point I am so fed up with them I just want the whole lot removed and the walls repaired and put up curtains and have done with it. It has been an awful experience that has taken up so much of my time and energy and patience. So many visits from folk trying to fix them. It's tiring, no it isn't, it's exhausting! All very depressing.

Quick reply to my query and quick delivery of the parts I needed.

Extremely disappointed with the after‑sales service. I was very happy with my blinds at first, but once they needed a repair outside the warranty, everything went downhill. Luxaflex take an unreasonably long time to reply and simply direct you to local dealers for repairs. None of the dealers were willing to help, and one even told me it would be cheaper to replace the blind entirely because repairs are so expensive.
For a premium product, the customer support is shockingly poor. As soon as your warranty ends—and conveniently that’s when issues start—there seems to be no real assistance available. It’s frustrating, time‑consuming, and likely to cost you far more than expected.
Would not recommend. AVOID

You want honesty ? These blinds are total garbage. We spent over £6000 on nine motorised blinds. Three have had to be replaced, one didn’t even work. One has been replaced THREE times and we are even having issues with this third replacement! They are awful. Gave us a free hub because they said other issues we had was due to signal but the hub made no difference! Blinds will just drop off the remote so don’t operate, they rarely all work on their schedules. The inbuilt clocks are constantly defaulting to Nov 2 at 00:00:00 so refuse to work with google command or on a schedule.
Spend so much of my time troubleshooting to no avail. Regret the day we ever had these installed. Luxflex show no concern whatsoever - just come back with ‘try this…’ when you already have many times. In hindsight I’d have just bought curtains.
Oh and the batteries ! Told they can last anything up to 12 months on normal use. Ha! Dropped to 50% in a few weeks! Nine blinds and only got one charger.
Recently a plastic clip (I now know it's called a "bottom bar button") broke on one of our Venetian blinds that we had fitted by John Lewis at least 15 years ago. I contacted Luxaflex via their website (I also contacted John Lewis who were equally as helpful) and they sent me, free, four replacement clips by post. So we now have three spares in case any more go...

They say "buy cheap, buy twice"... but you don't expect to be told to buy again when you've supposedly bought a premium, luxury product.
We had five Luxaflex Venetian Blinds fitted - three of them were LiteRise controlled. All 3 of these LiteRise Venetian blinds have now broken. We've had issues with loose LiteRise tabs on these blinds, but now the bottom bars have come off from the blinds causing them to be completely useless.
We've been told that Luxaflex no longer offer repairs and that our only option is to buy replacements! Not even any apologies offered. Very disappointed in the service response and quality of these blinds.
Great materials in the bars and louvers themselves, but you don't expect to be re-buying all your blinds every few years! The high price and premium brand does not fit with the quality and service you receive.

Great response from customer services regarding broken fixings, supplied spares as soon as we identified the parts.

Paid a fortune for a completely defective design. They’re too heavy, fall constantly, and the top is impossible to access for anyone with a normal-sized human arm. I contacted them repeatedly, and they refused to help. Absolutely unacceptable.

Reliable long service (25 years and counting) and spare parts like clips still available by return and without charge. You must be impressed by that!

I have various quality Luxaflex products in my house whereby one of them due to use had broken clips. I searched everywhere for replacements with no success as the unit is over 10 years old. I made contact with Luxaflex to ask for help and they promptly responded to my request amazingly offering to send out some replacement parts. I received a quantity of clips immediately and were also FOC, what great service and help! Would recommend them as there products are really great. Thank you!

Very pleased with the motorised blinds until we needed a repair. Luxaflex are ridiculously slow to respond. Send links to unhelpful videos and then brushed us off with "check local dealers". The first dealer referred me to a repairer who said he would come that day - didn't come, didn't let us know and didn't reply to calls or messages. Similar with other local dealer - sent videos, when that did not work stopped responding to calls and messages. Worst customer service for such an expensive product.

Hunter Douglas are quite simply superb!
Their Luxaflex blinds are 1st class and their aftersales team are brilliant. I had a small part needing replaced after a time and they were very kind and professional in sending me out the replacement part without hesitation.

I have luxaflex blinds throughout my flat, several different types to suit each window and door.
Over time, a few of the plastic parts on the pull cords have snapped, but when writing to customer support they've sent me spares free of charge.

I recently bought a house with a Luxaflex blind that had a broken sidewinder. I called their helpdesk and got straightthrough to someone who took down my details and sent a replacement. hassle free and some of the best customer service I've experience.

We have two battery powered motorised blinds side by side across our balcony window. The units were supplied by John Lewis. The left hand one is faulty and judders when closing sometimes stopping altogether. It was supplied like this and has only got worse over time. When opening both units operate smoothly. Luxaflex technical support have just given us patronising comments about sticky blinds which will clear over time. We are 5 weeks in and it is clearly a drive issue. They appear to be totally unwilling to engage with the problem and we are now faced with asking John Lewis for a full refund.
Update: 1/12/2025 Luxaflex have now agreed to replace the blind.
