BEWARE buying via Lyst

BEWARE buying via Lyst - just placed an order for shoes at £45.30 with 10% discount on check out. The 10% was not taken off and a tax of £12.42 was added. Postage was a ridiculous £7.82 for 2 week delivery ! Be VERY cautious buying through Lyst. I should have paid more attention but having found exactly what I was looking for I ploughed on paying through Applepay which was its efficient speedy self before I’d noticed the tax and lack of discount. RIP off

DON’T BUY FROM THIS SITE!

I just had a terrible shopping experience with Lyst. It started with a mislabeled item on their site. The boots I ordered were listed as a size EU40/US7. When the boots arrived they were huge. Way too big for a US size 7. The order ALSO took forever to arrive. I wasn’t able to try them right away because by the time they came I was out of town. I requested a return within the 14 days but due to the time difference, I’m on the west coast of the US, they would not allow my return. I missed the return time by a few hours. DON’T ORDER FROM THIS SITE!! They have terrible customer service!
They are responding to my complaint/review as if they have good customer service but don’t be fooled.

This is a great app

This is a great app, as it is central location via which I can find the products that I am interested in at competitive prices.
I have been using it for years now and the only thing I am looking forward to is LYSTs cooperation with more merchants online to ensure that we can get more purchase options. There is still room to grow and find cheaper merchants, so keep it up!

2 weeks later-nothing which is upsetting.
My experience with @balardi is AWFUL and I will never purchase anything from them again.

Check Prices and Descriptions Carefully

I ordered two lots of identical sandals (Timberland). The first order was a test, since I had slight doubts about the company. The second I ordered because the first order had been problem free.

If I have given four stars, rather than five, then that is because Lyst itself provides a link to other companies rather than fulfilling orders themselves. This means that: a. it's important to check the price when you arrive at the linked company; b. my virus checker advised me against visiting certain links. That may have nothing to do with Lyst, but it made me cautious.

Lyst shows the prices of certain items, but when you go to purchase them, it redirects you to other websites where you often have to pay customs fees that cost more than the clothing itself, or the sizes are unavailable.
