Formal Complaint – Failure to Complete Confirmed Refund

Dear Magnific Support Team,

I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the automatic renewal of my subscription and the refund that your company officially confirmed.

Immediately after the renewal charge, I contacted your support team and requested the cancellation of my subscription, as I did not authorize or intend to continue the subscription.

After reviewing my request, your support team expressly informed me:

“Therefore I’m glad to inform you that your last payment has been refunded and your subscription cancelled. Please be patient as it may take between 5–10 working days until the money reaches your account.”

In addition, I received another official email from Magnific stating:

“Your Magnific subscription has ended.”

and

“Your subscription has officially ended.”

Based on these official communications, I reasonably understood that:

* my subscription had been cancelled;
* my last payment had been refunded;
* the refund would reach my credit card within 5 to 10 business days.

However, my credit card issuer (XP Bank / Visa) has now informed me that the disputed charge will be reinstated.

According to the bank, this decision was based on documentation submitted by the merchant indicating that the transaction was a recurring subscription.

I do not dispute that the original charge resulted from a recurring subscription. However, this does not reflect the complete sequence of events.

After my cancellation request, your company officially confirmed that my subscription had been cancelled and that “my last payment had been refunded.”

For this reason, I formally request that Magnific:

1. Confirm whether the refund was effectively processed.
2. Provide documentary evidence of the refund.
3. Provide the ARN (Acquirer Reference Number), Refund ID, or any equivalent refund tracking number.
4. Provide the refund processing date.
5. Provide any documentation or communication submitted by Magnific to the acquiring bank, Visa, or my card issuer regarding this transaction.

If the refund has already been processed, as stated in your official email, I request that you provide the necessary documentation so that my bank can locate and recognize the refund.

If, for any reason, the refund has not yet been completed, I request that Magnific immediately complete the refund in accordance with the commitment made in your official communication.

I am attaching:

* your email confirming that “my last payment has been refunded and my subscription cancelled”;
* your email confirming that “my subscription has officially ended”;
* my bank’s response informing me that the charge will be reinstated.

I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and amicably. However, if necessary, I will rely on this documentation in the appropriate consumer protection channels to protect my rights.

I appreciate your prompt attention and look forward to your response.

I thing the best online platform for nowdays

I've been using Magnific for about two years, and they've consistently stayed one step ahead by regularly updating the platform with the latest AI models and features. They also have a fantastic community, and it's clear they genuinely listen to user feedback, which makes the platform continue to improve over time.

Unlimited isn’t actually unlimited

I purchased the annual Business plan because it was advertised as including Unlimited access for eligible models. I chose the annual subscription specifically for that reason.

After only about two weeks of normal use, my Unlimited access was completely disabled.

Support replied that Unlimited had been “paused” due to the Fair Use Policy or possible violations such as automation, account sharing, or reselling. However, they did not specify which rule I had allegedly violated or provide any evidence.

What concerns me most is that Magnific’s own documentation states that when Fair Use is reached, Unlimited generations should continue with reduced speed, not be completely disabled.

If Unlimited can be removed after only two weeks under undisclosed criteria, then it is not truly unlimited.

I have asked support to:
• explain exactly which rule I supposedly violated;
• provide evidence for their decision;
• restore my Unlimited access, or issue a full refund if they cannot provide the service that was advertised.

I will update this review once the issue is resolved. I hope the company handles this fairly.

It's wonderful app with variety of tools

"Magnific is amazing! Its complete generative AI ecosystem and high-quality upscale transform any image into a cinematic masterpiece. Kudos to the team for revolutionizing visual creation and exceeding all expectations!"

This should read zero stars to accurately reflect the quality of their service and most of their customer service agents. Since being acquired by Magnific, they have been committing fraud outright and getting away with it.

From selling service with unlimited features, that are capped but never detailed as to how or when, or at what threshold, only know you will find yourself working on a professional project, with your "priority render" access being stopped and finding yourself being dropped down to the 100% failure rate server.

From there, all you will get is image and animation failures 100% of the time, where no matter how many adjustments you make to the prompt it continues to do the same thing over and over, and as you continue to try and fight with their garbage service (and Magnific throttles you down and places you on the restricted access not the Ai services like Seedream or Kling), you will suddenly find yourself shut off from their bogus "unlimited service" you were charged for, and your only remaining option is to use up all your credits to continue to be able to use your paid subscription at all.

They will not provide any aid in correcting this, or provide any type of proof or statistics to show you are somehow violating their "unfair use" policy, which was never stated upfront, and you never hear about until this happens, as if you are hogging their bandwidth while trying to get one usable image or video for your movie trailer.

Run, don't walk, away from this company!!! Read the reviews, it will happen to you!
