File conversion worked perfectly. Didn't want any automatic subscription to start so emailed and Lisa immediately cancelled it. No annoying hoops to jump through (which we all know is really annoying)... See more

I wish I could give a zero star rating

I wish I could give a zero star rating. These are fraudsters hiding behind a a much needed service. I paid £0.99 for a one time file conversion and they used my details to set up a £29.99 monthly subscription that went out of my account two weeks after my one time purchase. I have been chasing them to cancel the subscription and get a refund to no avail. I have had to dispute the subscription with my bank. Whoever reads this, please DO NOT USE makemepdf. They are fraudsters!

Deplorable practice standards

This company has deployable practice standards. Like a number of other people I paid £0.99 for onetime access to pdf only to be charged two weeks later with a monthly subscription of £29.99. They sent an email confirmation for the £0.99 but no paperwork for the subscription knowing people would immediately cancel. Liza was very prompt with answering my email complaint but would only refund one payment. In my view it’s dishonest practice particularly as so many other people are experiencing a similar experience. Not a surprise ..I then had to chase for the refund.

Do not use. This is a con

I had exactly the same experience as other reviewers. Thought I’d paid 99p for one day and now find I’m paying £29.99 a a month. Emails to customer support to cancel don’t go through. I have no option but to cancel through my bank

Paid 99p for a pdf then by chance…

Paid 99p for a pdf then by chance discovered £29.99 taken from my PayPal! I had inadvertently signed up to a subscription without knowing, and immediately cancelled the subscription. Emailed them and asked for it back 7 weeks ago!! They assured me it would be refunded but I’ve not seen it yet! Emailed again today and they have assured me they have sent it but there is no sign of it! I’m a pensioner I can’t afford it! I’ve now opened a dispute through PayPal

SCAM

I paid £0.99 for a converted document. During the process I was signed up for a subscription of £29.99 without my consent . After contacting the team, I was told that I would be reimbursed and assured no further payments would be taken. Guess what NO REFUND. Contacted them again, reassured they unfortunately had a computer glitch. Still NO REFUND. I see many other customers have experienced the same. They ask you to leave a review after confirming your refund is on the why. I would urge you to wait until your refund is in the bank before doing so. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

BEWARE. Used their £0.99 option and then 100% made sure i cancelled my subscription. A few days later i was charged £29.99 for a full month of service and was denied a refund by customer support. Do. Not. Use.
