Inconsistent cab service of MMT

I took a cab from Del airport at 9.15 pm on 5 Apr26 ,I boarded the cab 45 min later due to flight reschedule.The original price was Rs745 & and I paid advance of 179, and it included 20 mins of wait time and to be charged 100 extra for every 30 mins, all toll charges, airport charges inclusive, thus I thought I would be charged 845. But I was charged 970. The bill generated on my mmt was 1240, and the bill given to the driver was 930 This is pathetic as they have no secure systems. For my departure from Del , the charge was 435 and it was a good service and I fell into the trap to book another service of theirs. MMT is not trustworthy hence don't be under the illusion that their service will be the same always

Any changes to your itinerary good luck

It’s an average travel booking agency and if you’re lucky it’d be uneventful. But good luck working with their incompetent team if you ever need any assistance, especially if you’re abroad. They would ask that you call back from a booking number and also you can do absolutely nothing without “OTP” which rarely works. This company is a scam, trust me don’t try to save $100 with them. Just buy from other sites or from the airline.

Worst experience ever- Airline ticket refund

Worst experience ever. The airline ticket got cancelled by the airlines due to airspace closure. Refund was initiated, but very slow customer support. It has been 30 days, and still no refund. Every day they say to wait for another 48hrs. It was confirmed by their executive that the money is with makemytrip, and has been received from the airline, and been sitting with them for 15 days, after a series of lies of not receiving it from the airlines. Have wasted nearly a month behind them about this and still get the response of refund initiated and wait for 48 hrs. Having to move legally to receive the compensation now.

One of the worst experience so far in…

One of the worst experience so far in my life. And worst part is that I don’t know to whom I need to contact for my refund request. I have been following up for my flight refund amount from March 16 and yet I don’t know the status. I respectfully calling customer service as per given timeline (always 3-5working days) I am also working man and I do respect work nature but this is beyond my limit and every time every agent is giving same answer not ready to escalate to higher ups and I am not getting any proof or track of my request. I do have recording of my email I sent so far. Today I received another statement with the same timeline of 3-7 working days and supervisor callback within 24 hours which is not confirmed through mail or any written form.

I hope someone from higher up’s see my concern here and take the necessary action. I understand the current scenario but do reap our situation as well.

Frustrating Experience



It is extremely frustrating when, in the hour of need, you are unable to reach a customer care executive. MakeMyTrip mostly connects customers to their AI support system, which is more irritating than helpful in urgent situations.

I booked a flight ticket for my sister and later realized that “MR” was mistakenly added to her name. I immediately contacted customer care for the necessary amendment. It has now been almost a week, and the change has still not been made.

When I called customer care, I was connected only to AI support, which confirmed that the amendment had been processed as requested. However, when I checked the app and downloaded the ticket again, the title was still not corrected. I tried multiple times to reach a customer care executive, but every time the call was routed to AI, and there was no option to speak to a human representative.

This is very frustrating, especially when the flight is scheduled in two days and the issue is still unresolved. For a company of this scale, there should be proper access to human customer support, particularly for urgent travel-related issues.

Very disappointing customer service experience.

MMT IS A USELESS AND PATHETIC TRAVEL AGENCY. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A BUNCH OF IDITOS WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. ITS BEEN MORE THAN 1 MONTH NOW AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND FOR MY CANCELLED FLIGHT WHICH WAS CANCELLED DIRECTLY BY THE AIRLINE. THEY HAVE NO CLUE.

I booked a round trip from DXB to KTM…

I booked a round trip from DXB to KTM (2T3GGM) and back through MMT. Initially, my return ticket was cancelled without any notification from their side. I had to call the airline myself to reschedule it to another date.

The most frustrating part is that the rescheduled ticket was also cancelled again without informing me. Even after cancelling it, no one from their team made any effort to contact me or discuss alternative dates.

Each time I called, I had to wait 20–25 minutes, and every representative gave a different explanation. No one took responsibility for the mistake. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told I would receive a callback within 4 hours—which never happened.

They proceeded to cancel my booking and initiated a refund. Although the airline refunded nearly AED 1,000, I received only around AED 645. Because of their mistake, I had to book a new ticket at my own expense, costing me approximately AED 1,700.

Overall, this platform has been extremely disappointing—unprofessional staff, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability and respect for customers.

So far i have booked a flight for more than 20-22 times, being so loyal and getting the treatment like this was truly frustrating. This was the last time i booked and i will for sure suggest each and everyone who approaches to me asking about tickets not to use this platform. I myself work for hotel industry so no more MMT.

This is an official and extremely serious complaint against MakeMyTrip and its management.

I booked a ticket through your platform which was **voided and cancelled within 12 hours**, making it fully eligible for a refund as per standard airline and industry policies. However, despite repeated assurances from your customer support team that the refund would be processed within 10–12 days, it has now been **over a month** with absolutely no resolution.

What is even more shocking and unacceptable:

* I have made **countless calls and follow-ups**
* Your team kept giving **false timelines and misleading responses**
* And now, instead of resolving the issue, **my phone number has been blocked**

This is not just poor service — this is **blatant negligence and unethical conduct**.

I am formally escalating this matter to the highest authorities at MakeMyTrip, including Rishi Raj Singh, and holding your organization accountable for:

* Failure to process a valid refund
* Providing misleading information
* Ignoring customer concerns
* Blocking a customer to avoid responsibility

If this issue is not resolved **immediately**, I will have no option but to:

* File a formal complaint in **Consumer Court**
* Escalate this across **social media and public platforms**
* Pursue legal action for harassment and financial loss

This is a clear case of **customer exploitation**, and I expect urgent intervention from your senior management.

Consider this your final notice before legal proceedings begin.

I am बेहद frustrated with the delay in my refund. Despite multiple requests and follow-ups, my refund has still not been processed.

The travel was impacted due to serious safety concerns and unavoidable circumstances, and I had already raised a proper refund request well in time. However, till today, there has been no proper response or resolution.

This kind of service is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase endlessly for their own money.

I request the concerned team to urgently process my full refund and provide a clear update.

If this is not resolved soon, I will be forced to escalate this matter further to consumer forums and other authorities.

I recently had a frustrating experience…

I recently had a frustrating experience with MakeMyTrip customer support. The only way to reach them was through a paid +971 600* number. I spent 32 minutes on the call, mostly waiting (30 minutes), and was charged about AED 10 for it.

There was no email or chat support option, which made the situation worse.
For a company of this size, I expected much better accessibility and efficiency.

Based on this experience, I would personally avoid using them for bookings where support might be needed.

They are complete scammers

They are complete scammers!

My flight was canceled by them, and despite multiple promises, they still haven't refunded my money after weeks of waiting. They keep saying the refund is "being processed" forever, but nothing ever happens. Every time I call their customer service, I'm put on hold for hours and no answer. It's clear they are just trying to avoid giving refunds and are dishonest in their dealings .. big avoid

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with MakeMyTrip regarding my recent flight booking. I paid a total of AED 2,283 for my ticket, and when the airline cancelled the flight, I expected a fair and full refund. Instead, I received only AED 379, which is completely unacceptable.

This huge discrepancy raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness. As a customer, I trusted your platform to handle cancellations responsibly, but this experience has been frustrating and deeply unsatisfactory.

I strongly urge MakeMyTrip to review this case and provide a proper explanation along with the remaining refund amount. Practices like this damage customer trust and create the impression of misleading or unethical behavior.

Pathetic service fraud

Hi Mr. Magow,

I am reaching out to you as a last resort regarding a serious service failure by MakeMyTrip.

Booking ID: NF2AJR5C39558477791
• My Ahmedabad–Mumbai flight was cancelled by Air India, which your team confirmed and assured a full refund.
• However, your associate (Robin Singh) wrongfully cancelled my Mumbai–Ahmedabad flight (15th April) without my consent.
• After several hours, I was incorrectly informed this was due to a “technical error.”
• On confrontation, your associate admitted this was his mistake on call.

Despite multiple follow-ups and clear instructions that I am traveling internationally and unavailable for calls, I have received incorrect responses and no resolution.

This is a clear case of:
• Unauthorized cancellation
• Misinformation
• Customer inconvenience due to internal error

My expectation:
• Immediate reinstatement of Mumbai–Ahmedabad flight (15th April)
• No additional charges

I have already requested a review of call recordings, which will validate everything stated above.

I hope this can be resolved promptly without further escalation. Otherwise, I will be compelled to pursue this across consumer forums and public platforms.

I booked Qater airways with…

I booked Qater airways with MakeMyTrip, unfortunately they scammed my money and never did an actual booking with the airways.

They issued me a fake ticket yet they took my money. Here is an email from qater airways confirming that actual booking might have not taken place:

Dear Mr. Ogwal,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns regarding the booking referenced by PNR 9HDE7M and the associated ticket number. We understand the importance of your upcoming commitments and the urgency of your inquiry.

Please be informed that Qatar Airways is unable to locate a booking under the details provided in our system. The discrepancy in the e-ticket number format and the absence of a record in our database suggest that the booking may not have been processed directly through Qatar Airways. We recommend verifying the booking details with MakeMyTrip, as they are the issuing agent and responsible for managing reservations made through their platform.

Regarding the cancellation and refund status, Qatar Airways does not have any record of cancellation or refund actions related to this booking. For clarification and resolution of the refund delay, it would be best to continue liaising with MakeMyTrip, as they handle ticket issuance and related transactions for bookings made on their website.

Customer service is non-existent

This has been the worst customer support experience I have ever had. My flight from Colombo to Doha was cancelled by the airline, but the "Submit Refund Request" button on the website simply does not work.

I have tried many, many times to resolve this, but there is no support, no responses to emails, and absolutely no way to get help.
I am stuck with a cancelled flight and no way to process my refund of QAR 1,661 because their system is broken and their customer service is non-existent.
You are completely on your own when something goes wrong. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this service.

Gulf Air cancelled the flight. As per their policy refund would be given. All relevant documents were uploaded on MMT app. No refund received yet... No acknowledgement from MMT.
