On the 6th June 2025 MaltaPost tracking an item I need urgently was at the sorting centre Malta. Later on on the same day the item was sent to the delivary centre. I also have 3 emails from MaltaPost stating delivery will be done today. Nothing was deliverd. The tracking stated ´out for delivery´nothing, ´attempted delivery´ nothing, that´s today 11/06/2025. Now tracker is saying ´out of delivery´ Lies and an absolute disgrace:
Continuation of the above as written to Maltapost after an email sent from Malta post declaring ´due to circumstances´
After 4 emails from Maltapost declaring delivery ´on the day´ and complains from my side, this never happened. One wonders what the circumstances where. One of them is certainly inefficiency and gross mis- management apart from an ´ I don´t care´ attitude. One does not understand why for a lightweight and simple delivery one had to go through all this, and it takes 6 days so far.
Now yesterday the postman left the green delivery note in our letter box when there where 7 employees present on site. Some postman!
This item has been in Malta since the 6th of June and Maltapost did not have a minimum of decency to ensure that the item would be delivered to hand after all this hassle, I would have even gone to the sub post office to collect it myself but no way. Something is definitely wrong. Its unheard of that an item takes 6days to be delivered in Malta. At this point in time, I still don´t have it and have now to go to the sub post office to collect it hoping that the bags would have been sorted this morning. This item was / is urgently needed,
Apart from the excuses and lies, it is a complete and utter disgrace.
Be so kind as to inform your Malta Post manager
MaltaPost is simply a Catastrophe!
They are damaged my first package and completely destroyed/loost/stole my second package within the same week.
Both packages where contaminated very expensive goods and I was charged for extra fees above the standard for surcharge and safety.
The phone service line is not working at the morning 8:20… it’s not working at the afternoon… why this people get their salaries?

I am extremely disappointed with the EasiPik service from MaltaPost. I opted for this service for the convenience of picking up my parcel at a time that suited me, but it has been a week and my parcel has not even arrived at the locker.
To make matters worse, their customer service is appalling. I contacted them for an update and was simply told to "wait" with no explanation or estimated delivery time. This is unacceptable. If I wanted to wait indefinitely, I would have used a slower, cheaper service.
The whole point of EasiPik is convenience and speed, and MaltaPost has failed miserably on both counts. I strongly advise against using this service unless you have absolutely no time constraints and enjoy being kept in the dark about your delivery.

A package addressed to me arrived to MALTA from the USA which was well labeled well addressed and the right email. I know this since the supplier sent me a screenshot of the package detail. Malta post notified someone else that they have a package awaiting payment of duty, naturally this other person did not reply and then they sent it away, not the the supplier but to another city in the USA. When time passed and I contacted Malta post the person supposedly helping said he can do nothing about it and quoted the law and some other jargon to get out of the mix of hazards that happened to my package. RESULT = ZERO PACKAGE = I WAS LEFT EMPTYHANDED

terrible delivery service. no advance notice, no estimated time of delivery and no answer back when I called. why even bother trying? just tell us to collect straight away

I am very pleased with the service provided by Maltapost. Postman's always polite and helpful.Keep it up!
Sent 13 parcels to Australia on consecutive rainy days, each weighing 10 kilos (30 x 60 x 30cm) and packaged with foam and heavily taped, included 'FRAGILE' tape. ALL were received by AustraliaPost water and crush damaged!!! Super expensive and absolutely NO CARE taken whatsoever.

It’s either a hit or miss with Maltapost. I’ve never had any problems shopping online with Temu or Amazon.de but they’ve messed up really bad for me with UK items. Therefore, I won’t be buying anything again from the UK. Their tracking is not always up-to-date and you can be sitting waiting and not know that the item arrived days ago, you have to do your own research and keep on top of things. Another thing I have noticed is that the online tracking will say that the item was unsuccessfully delivered when in actual fact you’re at home and you don’t even receive a notification in your mailbox advising you that they tried to deliver.

For some European post it would take longer to get it delivered via easipik than what it took to reach Malta.
It's the worst Post in the world. They always make sure to never deliver! You can wait the whole day right by the mailbox and somehow you get notified of unsuccessful delivery. They use ghosts not human beings.
Dealing with Malta Post has been an absolute nightmare. I was waiting for a parcel from Germany, stayed home all day like a hawk, and guess what? No one knocked on my door. Not a peep. Even if I somehow missed it (which I didn’t), my dog would have gone nuts if someone was at the door. We live in a house, so the postman has to come to the door directly—there’s no way around it.
But no, according to their tracking website, my parcel was magically “delivered.” Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I even went door-to-door asking my neighbors, and no one has it.
And then comes the cherry on top of this disaster: Malta Post sent me a form to start an investigation. Sounds fair enough, right? Nope! This form can only be sent back to them by post. Yes, you’re reading that correctly—Malta Post loses my parcel, and I have to complain through the very system that failed me in the first place! Oh, and of course, I have to pay for the privilege of sending them this letter.
If you have literally any other option than Malta Post, for the love of all things holy, use it.
Charged customs ,€18, €7.80 VAT , advised no paperwork with said package .
Customs note actually on front of package , stated as gift , value of £10.
Not the first time customs has been paid : husband sent goods to daughter, parcel was never sent & returned 3 months later ( just sat in sorting office ) & paid €80 to get his own parcel back !
Am posting this as unable to actually speak with someone as phones are not being 'manned ' .
Note in mail box saying parcel at PO. Got to post office and was told no parcel there. Showed note to employee and was told the date was today's date. It was, but the note was put in the day before, so where was the parcel?? He didn't know!!!
I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with the whole system and delivery.
Since I am not at home always, I requested to deliver my package to Mellieha Postoffice.
I wait for my package to forward from the center to Mellieha around 4 days. I spoke three times with the customer support and everybody said that they will forward a reminder to the deliver. I wanted to pick up the package personally anywhere in the island, because I really need these things, but they said it is not possible. Joke the whole system!!!! Never again Malta Post!
When your parcel is delivered to a neighbouring village, some 38 minutes walk, not on a bus route, I would say that customer service is lacking or even non existent. There needs to be an alternative to the shoddy service.
I got a call saying the package has arrived. I went to the door, the delivery man said that I have no package today. Few minutes after I got a call, and the delivery man started yell at me to come infront of a supermarket to get the package. I had to rush there to find out there's no one there, but a reciept in my letter box to collect in from the office. All of this happened in like 5 minutes.
So rude. This has never happened to me..
worst service in malta. i waited for a delivery to come just for them to come 20 mins after i went inside, not ring the bell or anything leave the slip and leave. it’s genuinely sad that they can call themselves a postal service with how bad the quality of their staff and delivery’s are.
Terrible service! Ordered things from UK which they arrived to Malta in 3 days but they are holding them in custom already 2 weeks!!! Trying to call them but nobody pick up a phone... Never again!
