I will never buy anything from the mango outlet store. I have to pay for returning the items which do not fit. And it costs £20! It is insane and unfair!!
Stay away from Mango
You literally get no customer service who only replies like a robot and not to your specific question. One of the item in my order has defects (the decorative chain is falling off) and the measures provide on the website misled me chose a wrong size (size M shows 72cm in waist but size M I received have 90cm in waist!!!). As a consumer, I am the one to bear the delivery cost for the mistakes Mango did??? They do not even offer free return to the store!! How ridiculous this is
Also to mention that after submitting the form online, you'll never be able to reply to Mango customer service emails because their inbox is full, causing your emails to be undeliverable!!!! What a strategy??

Terrible customer service. No tracking functionality provided for the returns, generic responses, and on top of it, you have to pay the return costs (mentioned on the page) which is very cheap move.

Their return process seems reckless so I emailed their customer service before return to make sure that I do things right. I followed all instructions they suggested. I also used Mango's preprinted label so everything should have worked out with the right address and barcode. I payed the freight (10 EUR ) myself which is ok but I did not heard from them after my parcel reach them(according to the post office update in person that It was delivered more than a week). I tried to follow up but all the responses I get from Mango are that I need to sort things out myself with the shipper (the post) even the posted comfirm that they have delivered it to Mangooutlet return center in Milan. Do expect no money return from them. Their refund from them is not quite reliable, they will keep telling you that they do not get any return. Please also add more insurance for your return.
I would better spend money somewhere else online e.g. via Zalando or other websites that acknowledge you return the moment the post staff scan you parcel.
Update on 10 June:after 12 days that the parcel was delivered to them(according to the post office record) I got an email from Mango that they get the shipment (after Mango previously replied me that my return was not delivered to them and that I have to sort it out myself (I ran to the post office multiple times and was on called and documents process with the post office on lost shipment that the post staff confirmed that it was delivered)): here is a translation (from original Italian)

No Refunds
This company will not give you a refund. They request your bank routing number and account information for a refund, even when you used a different form of payment. They will not pay postage, even when the return is no fault of the customer. I paid the postage to return the item
which has been received by the company, and they still will not give me a refund, Awful customer service.
Send wrong items
In my case, they sent the incorrect item, including the wrong color. When I try to respond to their email, an automatic email is generated, stating that the delivery to the recipient was unsuccessful !! Its not worth buying from them.

I've been a loyal customer of Mango Outlet for years, drawn in by their fantastic prices and diverse selection. While recent Brexit-related changes have introduced a new postal return fee, I found that returning an item, like a coat, was hassle-free, with the refund processed promptly. Once you've nailed down your size, ordering from Mango is a breeze, with minimal room for error. Their prices and quality stand shoulder to shoulder with Primark and Zara, making Mango Outlet a top contender in my book ! I'm a real customer for sure.

I wish I had checked the Trustpilot before placing the order. Overall I like Mango but the clothing sold on the outlet website is faulty and not suitable for wearing. All items in the order were defected, not true to size and all trousers were super long. The prices are too good to be true and I should have trusted my gut instinct. Do not order from them, also I had to pay £7 to return the order. I did not even bother calling the CS as it would probably be just a waste of time. Since the items are faulty and not true to size the returns should be free. Will not use again, terrible. I will stop shopping at regular Mango after this and will stick with ASOS.

STAY AWAY FROM MANGO OUTLET ONLINE! Trust the 1 star reviews. They never update you worth the status of an order (no tracking), and constantly send wrong items. They make you spend your own money to fix their errors, with the promise of refunding the return cost. Not only do they not refund you, they just stop responding all together!
Their customer service consists of uneducated morons planted around the world.
I highly recommend you file a fraud charge-back with my bank twice because Mango Outlet refuses to honor they mistakes.
My advice is to file a report with IC3, and with consumer affairs. I have done both. They are obviously running a bad show, and need to be shut down.

Warning. Mango JONATHAN GUTHMAN webpage is a fraude. The page is in Swedish language, the prices are in Swedish krones. When you place the order and pay they charge you in CNY Chinese currency. I order two items and they charged them for dubbel the price.

The quality of the shoes is terrible, and they do not fit well. I purchased two pairs of shoes, both size 4, but one was too big and the other too small. When I tried to return them, I had to pay £16 for the return, which was half of the value of my purchase! Can you believe it? When I contacted the Customer Care team, they were completely unhelpful. So, take my advice and save yourself time, money, and trouble by staying away from the Mango Outlet

Initially didn’t know what to expect after reading the reviews but took the plunge and made an order. I managed to find the item in store so bought it and contacted Mango Outlet customer service to tell them to cancel the order, they said they did but I still received the item. Resulting in returning the item at my own cost, which is frustrating. I receive my refund timely.

Delivery estimates are misleading and even worse than the main Mango site. 3-5 day standard delivery they claim like the parent site but take upto 10 days if not longer. Tracking only works from the moment the items arrive in the UK from Spain and is handed over to Yodel, so you have complete radio-silence on where your items are until then.
Returns are not the simplest and information is thin on detail and clarity. The cost to return items if they don't fit is not ideal and quite disappointing - I was aware of this before ordering so went in with my eyes wide open and with my expectations managed as it is declared on their website. Requiring returns 30days within the despatch date is also myopic and silly, as opposed to when the items are received which would be more logical especially given the delays in the latter. Contrary to what I expected I did not have to wait for the items to return to Spain before a refund was issued - for UK orders you return them to a UK address which is managed by Advanced Supply Chain, and I got my return confirmation 4 working days after the tracking showed my parcel was delivered to their warehouse in Corby. Two details that might be useful to people here regarding returns is:
- Firstly, contrary to their instructions that you should return items in their often very large oversized boxes items arrive in, you can actually return items in a smaller box and it will be accepted - this is useful as it makes the return shipping cost a lot cheaper and manageable. I returned with Royal Mail Tracked 48 in a shoe box from another brand and it cost just £3.29. Just make sure you use the unpaid return label on the box with order barcode or print one out from your order area in your account.
- Secondly you can return items from different seperate orders in one box to save on delivery cost of returns as I did. Just make sure you attach barcodes from each order's return label to the box, and put the return form for each order inside making clear what items belong to which order return form (I stapled it to the plastic packing of the items I was returning).
Looking at the reviews on here it isn't a pretty picture and doesn't reflect well on Mango at all the customer experiences. I was quite nervous about ordering from them, and when items took a while to be received versus the estimate they list, got particularly nervous. I also wasn't looking forward to returning anything if certain items didn't fit and was gearing up for a fight if they weren't honoured. Items are fantastic value though in the outlet for the quality and you get substantial discount on the regular site even when that is on sale especially with the extra discount periods the outlet has which I took advantage of. A lot of items like wool winter coats are timeless even if they aren't part of the current seasons collection. I think it is important people manage their expectations, and also protect themselves including following rules to the letter. I made sure to pay with a credit card which offers payment protection, and I also ensured my returns were with a trackable delivery service and that they were returned by the return date stated in the account area for each order. It's about taking a calculated risk and one that you can afford - if it pays off like it did for me it can be extremely rewarding but do remember it may not and factor that in whilst protecting yourself as much as possible.

Avoid at all costs.This is a good way to get rid of goods which have some defect or were so badly produced that none bought them even on sales. In case you try to return the item, if found faulty you have to pay the return shipment which costs sometimes more then item itself,so they know you wont try. Contact email for complaints is hidden, just generic faq exists. Customer service will just write you that they see no problem with product and tell you you can pay to send it back.Basically if there is anything wrong with the product you lose money. Thats it.In my case product that had elastic material in it and was hanging so long it got deformed. Sending more then 10 pictures did not help. Love Mango and always wear them (bought in shops) and this product is nice but damaged. Not returning to Outlet.
