Holding £2k still after giving the required information
Pretty much similar position than everyone else. I have become a Vinted pro seller and now cannot verify me with mango pay. I have £2k in my account and no one will help. Vinted say the same thing everyday that they’ll be in touch once they hear more from mango pay: mangopay are rubbish and no help. I refuse to loose my £2000

Can't use Mangopay because i have no driver's licence or passport am 68 and i can't afford to buy one of those just to use this payment site!
Furious i had no idea that i could spend money in it but not withdraw to a bank. £18.20 stuck in Delcampe just glad it's not more and i got out of it quickly.
Vinted use the same thing so i can't be there either.
Awful!!
Awful!!! - I’ve had two months of …Verification rejected, please resubmit your information!
Back and forth sending over documents.
No one at vinted can help you,
I’m waiting on £175, this is now becoming very very frustrating.
I will not be using this platform again, terrible
Zero’s stars if option
If i was able to i would not leave one star for these scammers, vinyed and mangopay are a disgrace. Holding my money which isnt a huge amount but its the principle. Done all the ID checks successfully to make withdrawls from my balance, but now they want me to fill in some form to prove i’m not a politically equiped person( someone tell me what that is)…. Absolute joke, do not trust them
Scammers
I Have recently opened a Vintedpro account and have over £400 in funds with Vinted. Mangopay / Vinted have frozen my funds and want me to upload documents to prove my business. I have done this 6 times now. I have given them everything they ask. I have even had my accountant upload documents for me, but each time they refuse it and won't say why. Vinted is not interested in the issue, so they are just as bad. I have no way of getting my money back without taking some kind of legal action.
Avoid at all costs and DO NOT open a Vintedpro account
Gutted to have fallen fowl to these…
Gutted to have fallen fowl to these scammers. Money has been pending in vinted and all I keep being told is it’s a technical error however smaller amounts have been paid to me today and yesterday. I’ve received payment £2.50 and £3 which has gone into my account instantly however suspiciously the £85 for an item I sold has a technical error. So frustrating that they would treat people like this. People who don’t have the money to lose and that are trying to earn a couple of quid selling unwanted items only for them to take the complete p!ss and take it from you. Shocking company with zero morals. 😢
Shame on VINTED and Mangopay
When trying to buy an item and use my VINTED balance (10 euros)the purchase was blocked due to a fraud policy. Identity verification was required which I provided with my driver's license, VINTED said was ok, ID confirmed and I could continue with my purchase. No such luck, blocked again, more info requested, messages back and forth and now my balance has been suspended!? Smells like a rat to me and I've been with VINTED for a few years now, mostly buying, very little selling.
No buyer protection
No buyer protection, will not get money back if scammed
Scamgopay
Sadly fell victim to Scamgopay like everyone else. They have partnered with Vinted to hold your money and will not release it. Will consistently tell you they require 'extra' information or the information you have provided is invalid (even though you keep providing everything they ask). Has been going on for 4 months. Has been reported to the various FCA. If you fall victim to the same scam, make sure to report it to FCA, CMA and Financial Ombudsmun. You will not get any human response from Vinted or Mangopay.
Pay my balance from Vinted!!!!
Pay my balance from Vinted!!!!
I've submitted PEP form but refuse to send phoros personal/sensitive information ie driving licence or Passport. This should not be necessary as you've got enough information on the PEP form.
You are stealing mine and many other people's money.

Been over a month waiting for funds to be released. Have sent every piece of document available , which is slightly worrying due to GDPR, and still no luck.
Seriously considering taking legal action against this company (which I imagine so many people have)
Im the same as most on here money…
Im the same as most on here money stopped
Vinted just fob you off same as mangopay
Some thing needs to be done about this as many businesses are suffering, but it’s bad enough as it is with out all this
Same problem as everyone else on here…
Same problem as everyone else on here between mangopay and vinted together they will hold your money for a verification process that doesn't work.. If you TRY in anyway possible to ask for help it's an automated response and they both pass the buck.. A gd way of holding YOUR money for longer because I may be a money launderer after 1000 pounds of sales in 3 months.. OK.. Or do you just give up and they keep your money because you are so frustrated you delete your account.. No human process anywhere at any time with either site
Vinted funds frozen via mangopay
Vinted funds frozen via mangopay
Cannot spend or withdraw my £30 first sale
Yet I can still purchase with Google pay so it's false news claiming frozen due to fraud or political status else it wouldn't let the account influence sellers
Luckily it sounds I've only lost £30 from the sale but I will not be using my account also you cannot close your account whilst frozen else assets are lost 😉
Treated like a terrorist or money launderer.
Another pack of grimy scammers . Going to take the small claims route which will be frustrated as these parasites hide their company in Luxembourg, same scam pattern as eBay had when they started.
AVOID MANGOSCAM **AVOID VINTTHEFT.
Immediate Action Required - Urgent Release of Held Funds
Dear Mangopay Support Team,
I am writing to express my profound frustration and dissatisfaction with the ongoing issue regarding the withholding of funds amounting to £4,500 from our Vinted account. This situation represents one of the worst service experiences we have encountered.
Our business has been established and operational since 2014, and we have consistently provided all documentation requested, including:
All pages of our Certificate of Incorporation
The latest Companies House statement dated 13th March 2025
Company registration number
Passport identification
Business address and details
Our accountant has also verified and submitted all necessary details to support our compliance. Despite repeatedly providing these documents since early February, we have received no substantive assistance or clear communication from either Mangopay or Vinted. This prolonged and unexplained delay is causing significant financial hardship and disruption to our operations.
We urgently request immediate action to resolve this matter and release our funds without further delay. Additionally, we ask for a clear explanation as to why the funds remain withheld and a precise timeline detailing when we can expect a resolution.
Your prompt attention to this urgent issue is necessary and appreciated.

Mango pay and Vinted nightmare
Tried to withdraw money from my Vinted account but mango pay has blocked it sent driving licence but still blocked. Been in touch with Vinted customer service services but no help at all this is my money so how do I get it definitely won’t use Vinted again
Dear Whom It May Concern,
Dear Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the ongoing issues with the Vinted Pro verification system, which have caused significant inconvenience and financial stress. Despite submitting valid documentation for verification, your system has repeatedly rejected my submissions without valid justification.
As a result, my account balance of close too £957.00* remains on hold since December 2024, even though all items have been delivered to the buyers. Furthermore, my buyers are unable to leave feedback due to this issue, which is impacting both my reputation and sales potential on your platform.
I have contacted your support team multiple times, but the responses I have received have been generic, unhelpful and repetitive, resembling templated messages rather than tailored assistance for resolving my case. This lack of effective communication and action is unacceptable.
I kindly request the following:
1. An immediate review and resolution of my account verification.
2. The release of the funds currently being held in my account.
3. A clear explanation for why my documentation was rejected despite its validity.
There is currently a message stream going on Vinted which you have asked for various documents again. I have provided these.
This matter is urgent, and I expect a prompt and thorough resolution. If these issues are not addressed, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further, including reporting the issue to relevant consumer protection authorities.
I look forward to hearing from you within 5 working days.

Avoid. They partner with Vinted.
Thank god I am not the only one. Nearly £5,000 tied up with this scam company. I have provided the correct details countless times and it still hasn’t been ‘approved’. I have rent due and it’s been several months now that I’ve been waiting. They surely can’t hide behind ‘KYC checks’ excuse forever?? Going to have to see if this can be taken further as only ever getting auto responses from them.
Trying to withdraw my balance from…
Trying to withdraw my balance from Mangopay for selling items i no longer need on VINTED is impossible , been sent a politically exposed person form (pep) , being made to feel like a criminal, excuses as to why they cant let me withdraw my earnings, much the same as all the other reviews on here, has anyone approached the BBC programme RIP OFF BRITAIN or the like as this company is making lots of money by denying us our earnings and we need someone on our side , no doubt this review will get the usual bot response from this company
