Yet again the people at mantis tech didn't fail to impress. Traded in wartorn phone for new one and staff really helpful and went the extra mile. Products are near indestructible and after 40 years in the building and window game these are only phones ever stood up and lasted. I wouldn't buy anything else and would advise anyone to do the same

When for around £650 LESS you can get a British manufactured Smartphone with all the same bells & whistles which also is NOT as fragile as a snowflake.

No word of a lie but being used to the weight & size of a clamshell phone for so long, when I took my Ruggex-Rhino-Core phone out for the very first time on the sloping & rocky ground of a Woodland I was working I fumbled, dropped it, lost my balance when trying to retrieve it & trod on it, hard. Unlike an iPhone etc to my huge relief it was completely unscathed & worked fine. My advice? Own a bulletproof phone & find something else to spend £650 on. It's a no brainer.

purchase's a Ruggex Rhino Tab from MantisTech and I couldn’t be happier, I wanted it for not just home use but for my boat using naughtical maps, it’s durability and ingress protection was just what I was looking for and I wasn’t disappointed.
It has a great screen, plenty of storage android works really well and at a reasonable price.
I also want to say that MantisTech was exceptional with answering any questions I had, they were very professional and nothing was too much trouble.
I would certainly use them again and I would definitely recommend them too anyone.

In our drive to become paper free, we have bought Rhinotabs for our heavy industrial operations, originally bought 2 now upto 4 with plans to buy more. Maks' service is second to none and the tablets are standing up well to rough use in a steel fabrication environment.

"Rock Solid" Rhino V Phone Purchased and its exactly that and the Flip is safe and solid in your hands .
I bought this phone for my Mother in her late 70's .
She had dropped her previous plasticky phone several times and also wanted the Flip to answer and close calls with ease . She has now been using it for over a week and as she says it feels like a Rock and Yet so Comfortable with Size , Weight and Dimensions . Call Quality is Great on both ends of the Call .
Customer Service is Great .. I made an online enquiry about the phone .. not too familiar with the name/brand so enquired about its warranty . The response was received very promptly and all questions answered .
Soon after purchase of Phone and Charger Mak from MantisTech called and added the Charging Dock as he highly recommended , have to say my Mother Loves it as its very easy for her .
Post delivery i wanted to ask a clarification in trying to ease Contact Transfer several methods were discussed openly , and actually expected so i was trying to think like a smart phone which its not .
The point here MantisTech were very helpful and responsive after purchase so highly suggest anyone stumbling across their website as i did .. did give them a call .. they are very responsive and helpful .
As mentioned the Phone is Rock Solid and looks and feels of a Quality Build .. if i were not so reliant on my own smart phone and wanted to revert to a non smart phone .. i would get one of these .

I purchased the Ruggex palm 4G and I'm delighted with it. Delivery and condition of my order was very good. I can recommend Mantistech as a very reliable Company and I would definitely use this Company again.

Weekend just fired off a question and got reply there and then more or less. They had spare Parts for my phone charger and would send me a link to click and buy the next day. This done I am very happy to recommend them for all rugged phones. I just needed A lost dongle to add to the usb charger cable. Once my phone finally give up I suspect I will Certainly buy another rugged mobile from them without hesitation. Great company HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I would advise anyone not to even think of buying this phone!
Yes, it's as strong and tough as it is made to sound and completely waterproof.
But the reception is lousy, the Internet is slow, and it's not my wifi because my last phone had no problems.

I've recently bought a Rhino V from this company and am delighted so far, both with the quality of the phone and the customer service I received. I deliberately wanted a 'dumb' phone but one which would stand up to life on a farm. The Rhino has all the features I need: big backlit buttons, clear readable screen, loud ring tone and resistance to water/dirt ingress. The clamshell design works really well, positioning the earpiece and microphone in the right place, and I love the calendar/clock display on the outside of the case when closed. In terms of customer service, Mak is first rate, answered all my queries, helped sort out the move from micro to full-sized SIM, and even provided a docking charger FOC. I hope the phone will give many years of service, but I rest assured that if I do have a problem MantisTech will be there to help. We need more companies like this one!

I have been using Ruggex smartphones for over 4 years now and will definitely continue to do so! I'm a rope access technician,
my work is at height and in many different environments and weather conditions. The Ruggex though and packing-it-all up-to-date smartphones had brought to me an absolute peace of mind that I always have a reliable, fast and very though mobile phone with me to conquer any task to hand. The battery capacity is enormous, so I don't have to worry about having a low charge ever. Even if I'm running battery demanding sorts of apps and tasks all day long, I still hardly get even to 75% by the end of the day.
The other very important thing to mention is the proper, thorough and unbeatable customer support at MantisTech! Mak is the gentleman who is extremely attentively responds to any of my requests promptly, kindly and professionally.
Recently I had accidentally got my Ruggex phone damaged from salty water ingress (the rubber seal wasn't property closed) and so the charging port and board was short-circuited from the salt crystals build up. After contacting Mak and sending the phone over for repairs, not only that he had repaired and replaced the results of the water damage for a small fee, but went above and beyond replacing the shuttered gorilla glass screen protector (and even left the spare one I had in the box for me to use later!), weary rubber seals at both ports, snapped off lanyard holder, and throwing in a new canvas case - ALL absolutely free of charge! This is really unbelievably great! I am extremely grateful and will definitely suggest this company to anyone who's looking for a tough, modern and reliable device to suit any active lifestyle and/or job or hobbies that demand the absolute best along with really outstanding customer support!

Had a live chat with Mak from Mantistech concerning a problem I had with my Rhino3> I thought it might be the screen but Mak said it could be the battery. So ordered a battery from them and hay presto my phone is up and running again cant thank him enough. Great service and advice.

So I had to return a phone because of bad reception,Mac tells me if your getting bad reception maybe any phone we send will be the same?
I sent an email, “so you don’t want me to buy a phone”
He rang me that evening, sorry he said of course we want to sell you a phone, it doesnt matter how many phones you send back we want you to be happy.
So I bought the Core at £219.
It arrived I set it all up it was great.
I said to the phone look, Ive had a tough day go and familiarise yourself with area and placed it outside the front door.
It was spitting with rain, I thought well it’s waterproof!
40 minutes later the doorbell rang, it was the Core, it was thundering and lightning, torrential rain, I picked up the Core and it spoke to me.
“Thanks mate for having me sent to the Norfolk Broads, just walked around the ACLE broads Fantastic!
Roads were busy, lorry and car went over me but no problem not a scratch.
It’s bloody lovely round ere, now do me a favour mate, just paper towel me dry and sit me in front of television as I want to watch some olympics!!
Conclusion. Tough,easy set up, clear, precise,a really nice reliable piece of kit………

Mak is brilliant. Aftercare and great advice over the products and needs of the customer.

This is a review for Mak and Mantis Tech Ruggex Rhino V mobile phone. I have had the phone for 9 months now and am delighted with it. It is a no nonsense phone, that does what it says on the tin. I had an occasion to contact Mak at Mantis Tech by email with a technical query on the phone. Mak came back to me very quickly and explained what I needed to do. I cannot praise the service enough.
