Shopping at Maplin no issues at all,when product arrived,looked excellent and well packaged.Only issue is with Royal Mail that took a week to get it to me

I never write reviews but I feel I must ! Maplin you a have been fantastic company only , I ordered a car which came with out the fixers to the wheels
They responded super quick and have sent me a whole new car ! Without any problems! Can’t believe the service will most definitely be buying again from you great service 🥰

Claim to offer student discount, once you go through all the trouble of verifying, and then applying the code - they claim it's invalid. Waste of my time and effort.

Package arrived damaged and most of contents missing. Maplin refused to resolve

Great price and quick delivery despite been near Xmas. We have to travel to the shops and we had forgotten batteries, so it was more economical for the postman to deliver them as he passes everyday.

I received my order on time. The inner packaging was damaged, as in the box containing the batteries was damaged and taped up with clear and brown tape. Outer packaging was not damaged. Also, and more importantly most of the batteries were missing! I think I’ve been sent used batteries. Hopefully someone at maplin will sort this out. First time this has happened with a Maplin order.

Normally everything is ok but this last order of AA alkaline batteries are poor quality. They don't last very long and some have started to leak. This may be a one off but really disappointed at this time of year

Easy to use the website, excellent prices and speedy delivery. What more could I ask for?

Delivery was slow and the review email arrived first but the product was perfect for the job.

Dry easy to navigate the website and select what I require.
Very intuitive to select and purchase what I want and place the order.
ESU to follow payment and shipping options and many ways to pay.
Shipping fees and time from order to delivery was within a few days .

Bought some batteries, they were so badly packaged that the bag they posted them in tore cause it wasn’t designed for the weight. The postie tried to salvage the parcel by wrapping it up himself but half of the batteries were lost beforehand. Absolute garbage. Not heard anything back from Maplin about this. Packaging heavy batteries in a thin bag is hardly a good idea when you’re posting them out to customers.

Update: Maplin were very quick to respond to this review and ask for proof, however I’ve not heard anything from them personally about this. Shame they want to protect their brand over Customer satisfaction.

Don’t believe their reply they’ve already emailed me regarding the order number I sent them.
