Brilliant company, highly recommended

I ordered 3 Hallwag 3 in 1 City Maps.
They arrived promptly and were very reasonable in price.
Maps worldwide kept me updated on my order, and answered all my enquiries very quickly.
When I plan my next holiday, I'll certainly check to see if this company has guides on where I will be visiting.

Great

They have a large choice of hiking maps at the lowest prices I could find online.
I phoned them to confirm they had a more recent version of the Spanish map I needed than written on their website. The gentleman who answered was helpful.
Dispatch was slow due to issues but the map arrived on time as advised when ordering.

I wanted cycling maps from Roses in…

I wanted cycling maps from Roses in Catalonia. The Spanish OS equivalent maps (CNIG maps) only covered a small area and I wasn’t sure how many I would need to cover the distances I wanted to cycle. I decided to phone maps worldwide. They seemed very knowledgable and pointed me to a set of Alpina 50 maps, which cover my cycling area nicely. They arrived in a few days by Royal Mail and look a much better solution to multiple CNIG Maps

If in UK, do not choose DHL Express Delivery

I needed these maps quickly as a gift for a friend who was leaving our local area. The website suggested I could pay for normal Royal Mail or DHL Express Delivery for £7 more. So I did that, as time was short. Still no maps but received an email saying they were soon to be delivered by Royal Mail. So I have been mis-sold a service that has not been provided and been charged an extra £7 for nothing.

Excellent Service

I was struggling to find a map of Crete. Phoned up Mapsworldwide and the helpful lady checked they had one in stock, despatch it the same day and I received it the following day. Can't fault that!

Insufficient information and no refunds

I bought the most useless map of Fuseta, Portugal for £22. Basically it is 90% blue sea with a small section of Fuseta. There wasn't enough information on the site for me to make an informed decision and I cannot return it. Do not buy from this company.

Here's what is written on the website: "The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations) provide consumers with the right to a 'cooling-off' period to allow you to change your mind. Under these regulations, you have the right to cancel your order, without explanation, within 14 days of delivery (starting the day after you receive the goods) and to return the goods for a refund within a further 14 days (28 days in total). The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to businesses nor to individuals who are trading or acting as a trader (buying goods to re-sell for profit) because no-one is the 'Consumer'. This means there is no 'cooling-off' period and the order cannot be cancelled once processed."

Excellent maps, atlases & travel books online sales

UK based online book shop / supplier of UK and worldwide maps, atlases, travel books, guidebooks, charts, map gifts and map accessories from many publishers worldwide. 3rd July 2020 - I checked the website and then spoke to Lisa, one of the owners, who very helpfully explained that many publishers have not published this year's up-to-date maps etc as planned due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so advised me accurately which map books are available to buy now. So useful! Realistic, knowledgeable, helpful advice. Highly recommended.
