I ordered two pairs of trousers on May 21st, and once they arrived at a pickup point in Romania, nobody contacted me. On June 19th, the order was returned to Marks & Spencer. It is now July 5th, and I still haven't received my refund.

M&S cancelled order only part-refund

This is an absolutely appalling retailer. I immediately cancelled an online order for 4 items as i realised i was to be away on the day of delivery. I then only received a part-refund due to a system error on the M&S side. I am still owed £38.50 and have been chasing this via the customer services south africa call-centre for the past 8 days. I am no further forward to a resolution and am repeatedly advised they will refer to the 'finance team'. I've had to escalate this again today and was connected to the M&S retail office at Chester. I was again informed they will again refer to the 'finance team'. My total call time is around 3 hrs at considerable cost as the contact centre is on 0333 number. I've read about others not receiving full refunds on returned items but this was an order that was not even packed for delivery. This ongoing refund issue has conveyed a complete distrust in M&S for their incredible disregard to an acceptable customer service response.

Ordered 5 days ago

Ordered 5 days ago, the item is in stock and has still not been shipped. Contacted Customer Service, or should I say NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The representative was not interested at all in what I was saying. I will no longer be shopping with Marks & Spencer again. Just heard from Marks & Spencer order delayed. What did I expect from Marks & Spencer and Evri says it all, every time.

This is a message for M&S managers not…

This is a message for M&S managers not about M&S but about their sometime delivery partners Evri. There is nowhere on their website for this and I may not be the only person with this comment to make. Please please please M&S dont use Evri. They are consistently late or delayed, they leave parcels anywhere including the stairwells of communal buildings and are generally unreliable. If I was offered a 'free' Evri delivery or another carrier for a cost,I would rather pay for a reliable carrier. You are the third compsny I have purchased from this month who use Evri and this is the third parcel that has yet to arrive.Hopefully this one is just late but the other two have disappeared, one was damaged and returned before it got to me and the other one was delivered but where to,I will probably never know !

Customer service has seriously declined…

Customer service has seriously declined in M&S foodhall and over the phone and by email. No response to emails, no fulfillment of promises made over the phone and in store staff who show impatience and annoyance with your request.

M&S in London Colney

M&S in London Colney. 1st experience of shopping for a suit for my disabled husband after a stroke. Changing rooms, no sign to say disabled cubicle so tried to get the wheelchair into a cubicle with no luck. Person working there ignored us & didn’t mention there was a disabled cubicle. I noticed one with a curtain so waited till it was free. Only once we were in there did I realise it was a fully accessible changing cubicle. Except there were two large yellow containers in the way that I had to move.
Not well stocked either for a large store. The sizes on the hangers didn’t correspond to the actual size of the garment either. When paying, the assistant rolled up the shirt, no attempt at folding it & squeezed the suit into a paper bag, no suit carrier? When paying a fair bit for a suit you expect more than a paper bag. At least in Next you get given the option & they charge £3 for the suit carrier. It all used to be free. Customer service in M&S has certainly changed. One thing about M&S was high standards that their staff had to meet & good training. Guess that’s changed as well. Turned out to be a stressful experience.

disappointed this time shopping at my local M & S food…

I love shopping at my local M & S food store in Swindon and don't usually have any negative comments but today I made a mistake in buying reduced potato salad which was very disappointing. I didn't see it had MINT and chives not like my usual choice plus it felt like reconstituted potato pieces as it was little cubes of 'something' nothing like the proper potato salad. I will not make this mistake again.

Very disappointed with M&S Inverness Clothing

Very disappointed with M&S Inverness.
Very few dresses with sleeves or midi-length, all the trousers are either, barrel leg, carrot leg, cropped palazzo or other ugly baggy designs.
Bearing in mind that the average age in the store looked to be over 60, I fail to understand why the buyers don’t look at the demographic and choose styles accordingly.
Women of a certain age do not want Sleeveless tops and certainly don’t want to look a size or two larger in baggy trousers.

Terrible terrible service never again…

Terrible terrible service never again will I rely on M&S food delivery service. Big party food ordered arrived to collect and nothing had arrived (too hot apparently 🤨). No email or text to alert me and to add insult to injury refund wasn't processed properly by the store (Holmbush Sussex) so just spent 20 minutes to customer care who are now processing.

so glad to see that i'm not alone about…

so glad to see that i'm not alone about how bad m&s has become
i did write them directly to saw how disgusted i am with them
main ponts being
using their name as a standard to con their clients devoted that are loyal and trust the band name that was good ,
unfortunately many are too stupid!!!!
their quality has without question dropped remarkedly
whilst they've hiked the prices ,
it's a total con
they should be ashamed of themselves,
also,
there's no service anymore ,
so i have to make the effort of going to them with no
benefits for me , can't think of one positive thing to say about them
very sad it's come to this
but they won't get my money
when there is far many more better options
don't be a sheep , they don't deserve your custom

Marks you have lost the plot.

What on earth has happened to women’s clothing. I visit Marks regularly and things always catch my eye as I wander about. Not lately though. I may just as well go and buy a cheap old sack and cut something out of it myself to wear. Everything is baggy, shapeless, too long and made of the most awful fabric.
I even tried things on thinking they must magically look better on me than the hanger. They looked better on the hanger - cramped and hidden between their ugly friends.
I failed to buy even a top for an evening wedding do I had been invited to. Who buys this stuff? Well nobody probably as the place is rammed full of it. Are we not allowed to have hips or waists any more or wear anything feminine and classy? Money to spend and nothing worth buying. A friend told me to try John Lewis as apparently their clothes are normal.

I have just finished a Marks and…

I have just finished a Marks and Spencer Shake-A-Salad Chicken Caesar with a creamy Caesar dressing. If I was not at work I would have licked the bowl.

It was absolutely amazing. At age 61 I have had a lot of salads and this has to be the best salad I have ever had. Well done M & S!!!

Totally inept customer services

In Bath store with my husband to buy a suit for a wedding. Lots of jackets but shortage of trousers to match in suitable sizes. Approached counter to ask to order trousers, and took jacket to get correct match. No one on the till so young clearly disinterested man called out to help and reluctantly started to process the order. After a short while I realised he was processing an order for a different sized jacket, not the trousers we asked for. He argued that is what he was asked to do. Told No, a jacket, he argued no you didn't!! Unbelievable! My husband asked if the guy was calling him a liar!! Then given the jacket with no wrapping whatsoever and asked for a suit carrier - told you have to buy a suit. I said we have bought a suit, but the trousers are not in stock so they will be delivered. He continued to argue that we had to have a suit to get a suit carrier (cheap and nasty thing anyway) Another member stepped in and told him to give the suit carrier. This was 120 purchase which we were supposed to carry down down the high street without so much as a plastic wrapper. What on earth is going on with M&S? They have really gone down the pan!! This morning found an e mail saying they could not complete the order for the Jacket due to incorrect payment details. Gave link to phone line and e mail to contact them. The e-mail link is disabled as are all the e mail links to M&S. You MUST call their customer services line and one can only assume what a pain in the backside that would be, Guessing this is to reduce the number who actually bother to complain! Does anyone want to be put on hold for ages to tell them where they are failing????? Unbelievably poor service, and it is not the first time this year I have had a terrible service from this retailer, and it seems it is pretty common looking at their reviews. No surprise then that they do not allow a review unless they request one!! GET A GRIP M&S

Food hamper for next day taking at least 48 hours

I ordered a food hamper for next day delivery, it was going to take 2 days at the DPD terminal so they destroyed it. They then and sent out another one and again held up for a day at the DPD centre so will now be 48 hour delivery if it happens. They need to stop offering next day delivery when they cannot honour this.

New Sparks reward system doesn't seem…

New Sparks reward system doesn't seem to take any notice of shopping habits, or the fact that as a single 78 year old customer you are very unlikely to be able to take advantage of any of the sparks offers because you will never reach spending levels in the period expected. As somebody who has been using computers in the work place since the early 90's I am amazed they can't work out my spending patterns or control stock provision. Sick to death of trying to buy clothing in stores and being told, we don't have your size ie 12 go on line. I prefer to shop in store, and I am the CUSTOMER
