Terrible terrible service never again…

Terrible terrible service never again will I rely on M&S food delivery service. Big party food ordered arrived to collect and nothing had arrived (too hot apparently 🤨). No email or text to alert me and to add insult to injury refund wasn't processed properly by the store (Holmbush Sussex) so just spent 20 minutes to customer care who are now processing.

so glad to see that i'm not alone about…

so glad to see that i'm not alone about how bad m&s has become
i did write them directly to saw how disgusted i am with them
main ponts being
using their name as a standard to con their clients devoted that are loyal and trust the band name that was good ,
unfortunately many are too stupid!!!!
their quality has without question dropped remarkedly
whilst they've hiked the prices ,
it's a total con
they should be ashamed of themselves,
also,
there's no service anymore ,
so i have to make the effort of going to them with no
benefits for me , can't think of one positive thing to say about them
very sad it's come to this
but they won't get my money
when there is far many more better options
don't be a sheep , they don't deserve your custom

Marks you have lost the plot.

What on earth has happened to women’s clothing. I visit Marks regularly and things always catch my eye as I wander about. Not lately though. I may just as well go and buy a cheap old sack and cut something out of it myself to wear. Everything is baggy, shapeless, too long and made of the most awful fabric.
I even tried things on thinking they must magically look better on me than the hanger. They looked better on the hanger - cramped and hidden between their ugly friends.
I failed to buy even a top for an evening wedding do I had been invited to. Who buys this stuff? Well nobody probably as the place is rammed full of it. Are we not allowed to have hips or waists any more or wear anything feminine and classy? Money to spend and nothing worth buying. A friend told me to try John Lewis as apparently their clothes are normal.

I have just finished a Marks and…

I have just finished a Marks and Spencer Shake-A-Salad Chicken Caesar with a creamy Caesar dressing. If I was not at work I would have licked the bowl.

It was absolutely amazing. At age 61 I have had a lot of salads and this has to be the best salad I have ever had. Well done M & S!!!

Totally inept customer services

In Bath store with my husband to buy a suit for a wedding. Lots of jackets but shortage of trousers to match in suitable sizes. Approached counter to ask to order trousers, and took jacket to get correct match. No one on the till so young clearly disinterested man called out to help and reluctantly started to process the order. After a short while I realised he was processing an order for a different sized jacket, not the trousers we asked for. He argued that is what he was asked to do. Told No, a jacket, he argued no you didn't!! Unbelievable! My husband asked if the guy was calling him a liar!! Then given the jacket with no wrapping whatsoever and asked for a suit carrier - told you have to buy a suit. I said we have bought a suit, but the trousers are not in stock so they will be delivered. He continued to argue that we had to have a suit to get a suit carrier (cheap and nasty thing anyway) Another member stepped in and told him to give the suit carrier. This was 120 purchase which we were supposed to carry down down the high street without so much as a plastic wrapper. What on earth is going on with M&S? They have really gone down the pan!! This morning found an e mail saying they could not complete the order for the Jacket due to incorrect payment details. Gave link to phone line and e mail to contact them. The e-mail link is disabled as are all the e mail links to M&S. You MUST call their customer services line and one can only assume what a pain in the backside that would be, Guessing this is to reduce the number who actually bother to complain! Does anyone want to be put on hold for ages to tell them where they are failing????? Unbelievably poor service, and it is not the first time this year I have had a terrible service from this retailer, and it seems it is pretty common looking at their reviews. No surprise then that they do not allow a review unless they request one!! GET A GRIP M&S

Food hamper for next day taking at least 48 hours

I ordered a food hamper for next day delivery, it was going to take 2 days at the DPD terminal so they destroyed it. They then and sent out another one and again held up for a day at the DPD centre so will now be 48 hour delivery if it happens. They need to stop offering next day delivery when they cannot honour this.

New Sparks reward system doesn't seem…

New Sparks reward system doesn't seem to take any notice of shopping habits, or the fact that as a single 78 year old customer you are very unlikely to be able to take advantage of any of the sparks offers because you will never reach spending levels in the period expected. As somebody who has been using computers in the work place since the early 90's I am amazed they can't work out my spending patterns or control stock provision. Sick to death of trying to buy clothing in stores and being told, we don't have your size ie 12 go on line. I prefer to shop in store, and I am the CUSTOMER

Nearly got mown down today by a M&S…

Nearly got mown down today by a M&S security guard outside the Marble Arch London Store -A security male in Green top with M&S Logo on it chasing a shoplifter and he didn’t care who was in his way and if I hadn’t taken drastic action I dread to think what could have happened to me.

Such ridiculous behaviour and actually against the law doing the activity they were putting the public in danger on a public pavement.

Follow Up-M&S executive office are saying I imagined it all and it didn’t happen!!
What a bunch of total liars -I will never buy anything from that lot ever again.

Sorry Mark's you've got this so wrong

Sorry Mark's you've got this so wrong. Very poor judgement if you expect people to think this was a good idea. I am seriously thinking of giving up on this. There are so much many nore better deals for shopping in these tough times. Goodbye.

Buy clothes for immediate use only.

I have always found M&S to have good quality clothing, although limited in its ranges for tall men and non existent in knitwear. However I took back a pair of shorts today where the stitching was obviously missing and they refused to refund. A word of warning: if you buy clothes inspect them thoroughly particularly if you don't intend to use them for 6 months, after which they disclaimer responsibility. A shame they aren't a bit more like Costco.

I mostly buy excellent fresh produce in M&S

I mostly buy fresh produce in M&S, and unfiltered olive oil, organic kefir, and flowers, and all are excellent. Recently, I discovered a couple of soft apples in a bag of apples, and the company quickly sent an e-voucher when I raised a complaint. As the complaint was addressed promptly, I will continue to shop at the food hall in the Lincoln branch. It's rare for me to buy clothing in M&S, but I've never had a problem with their clothing products. In fact, the styles are now much more on trend, so I may buy more clothes in the future. The staff are very professional and friendly, and they exchange pleasantries during checkout, which I like.

As others have said very poor service…

As others have said very poor service lately. Ordered 2 x trouser and top sets. Order was cancelled with no valid reason. Both items were in stock at the time.
Ordered again to be delivered to my nearest store and the order had been picked wrong, I received 1 top and 1 bottoms from each set.
Ordered again this time to be delivered to my home address as I had a wasted journey to the store last time. The items are due to be delivered today and there is no sign of it. Still says processing in the warehouse. Absolute waste of time. M and S has gone massively down hill

Medium prawns?

Bought a bag of M&S cold water frozen prawns labelled as Medium. They were really salty and the size of little shrimps. I shall definitely not try to see if it was a one-off. Never again!

Do not order if it matters when it's delivered

Marks and Spencer order 306-0065325-2741848 for Pia Rose with Prosecco, bought as a work leaving present ordered on Friday 26/06/26 for delivery Monday. Despite asking for delivery 9-5pm it was allocated a 6-7pm delivery slot by dpd. It stated this could not be changed. Rang m&s. Told they would try to alter it. Nothing heard, nothing altered. Building shut. Rang m&s no action possible, no idea of last call. Drove to building to pick up. Driver arrived at 7.25pm. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY IF IT MATTERS WHEN DELIVERED.

Marks and Spencer could do better

Would like to say I like Marks and Spencer but alas it’s Marks and Spencer but not as we know it.
Cafeteria is always too busy with queues caused by uncleared crockery and dishes and people using it as a business, working continuously on laptops and purchasing little,.
Food is not prepared suitably as it is often cold because it is left too long before served. Quality of clothes is definitely not as it used to be with cheap Chinese produced clothes which do not reflect the price charged for them.
Altogether not a satisfactory visit by someone who has been a loyal customer for decades. Come on m&s provide a better service or you will be superseded by someone who can do better.
