I cannot express my immense gratitude to Stef for helping make our first trip to Maui an unforgettable one! With everything beginning to open back up, it was a real challenge finding activities that weren’t sold out. Stef was able to identify our priorities and find us tickets to the BEST luau (Te Au Moana), snorkel tour (PacWhale Eco to Molokini), and ATV tour (Maui Off-Road Adventures). This trip would not have been the same without her assistance. She was responsive and knowledgeable. If we ever make it back to Maui, I will book with Maui Activities again, for sure! Mahalo nui loa!

My family and I are so impressed with Maui Activities! The staff was knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly helpful. Wil was able to get us into the most amazing luau I have ever been to in Hawaii! My two young sons had so much fun. This company is the best. So easy to work with and will find the perfect activity for your family. I highly recommend and will be calling again when we come back to Maui. We would give 10 stars if we could!

11/2/20 Update: Received reply back from company and they have finally refunded our money for this. Modified the rating based on the multiple times we attempted to contact them and how long it took for a reply back.

Completed online order of Luau for four at Old Lahaina for 10/22/2020. Vacation cancelled due to Covid-19, have made every attempt to contact them to cancel and refund my $520.00 but they have not called me back. The phone numbers listed on the website (808-214-1013 & 888-924-MAUI (6284)) are not valid. Also sent Email to agency @mauiactivities .com shown on the website but it's coming back as 'Returned' mail. I'm going to contact Hawaii Attorney Generals office to find out if there is any recourse

We booked the Calypso Sunset Dinner Cruise for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration trip in July. We we decided to cancel our vacation this year and have been waiting since June 15th for our refund for 18 people. We’re very disappointed in their lack of response to emails and phone calls. UPDATE: Wil called and explained their staffing situation due to covid and inability to keep up with all the phone calls and emails. I appreciated the call and he refunded me what we paid for the dinner cruise.

My family and I (group of 11) booked with Maui activities for a luau our entire trip was first postponed then again postponed so we decided to cancel I have Called and called and called about 12 or so times with no answer I also emailed with a detailed email and a contact number along with booking name number of guest and dates we booked for and the name of the luau we chose and still haven’t received a reply back or a refund credited to my account. Initial their voice message said they were automatically issuing refunds then it updated to them requesting an email be sent so I followed these instructions and still no luck. Very upset and disappointed in the service or lack there of.

My wife and I booked the Grand Wailea Luau (premium seating) months before we arrived on March 16, 2020. Just shortly after our arrival, all of our plans were canceled due to Covid-19. Despite receiving an email from this company that our refund was being processed, it has not been received (5/5/20). All emails, phone calls, and written letters with proof of payment go unanswered. So far I'm out $300.30. Just after writing this post, I received a personal phone call and an email receipt from the owner of the company showing I was reimbursed for this luau. I changed the star rating from 1 to 5. I kept his info. as we will be returning to Maui in Feb. 2021, and I will definitely use his company for our future activities.

I guess my review is based on a very crazy circumstance (Covid-19) but I would highly recommend booking your activities through the actual activity provider. Our luau was cancelled the day we arrived in Hawaii March 20 and today is April 8 and it still has not been refunded. I’m sure this situation is really hard for a business like this but we have tried calling multiple times and it’s almost like they just went under or something. I think refunds should have been issued right away and we shouldn’t have had to file a dispute with our credit card company.

Very friendly on the phone and when the weather got in the way, they kept us informed and gave us options. Would use them again.

Easy to use site to make reservations for multiple activities

We took the Road to Hana tour on February 15th and cannot say enough great things about the quality of the tour. Our tour guide Jamie has been leading this tour for decades and was amazing!!! Her extensive knowledge of local history coupled with the vast number of sites visited during the 10-12 hour tour made this our favorite tour ever. And, the local treats provided throughout the day made the trip even more memorable. Thank You Jaime and Maui Activities for a 5-Star Day!!!

The luau at the Sheraton on March 6, 2020 should have been cancelled. It was moved indoors to the Ballroom due to extremely high winds. The room was dark and uninviting, the service non existent as we had to get our own drinks and only found that out because people were coming in with drinks, the show was nice but equal in quality to the free show at Whaler's Village in 2013. The food was almost inedible, tons of salads but the chicken, pork and beef were totally dry and tasteless. The only nice touch was the fire dancer whom we watched outside in the hurricane force winds. It was an outrageously expensive occasion and I'm sure most people were very disappointed. Surely the Sheraton must hold these luaus indoors in bad weather and we would have expected them to be more prepared - this felt quickly thrown together and desperate.
