my power box is under warranty and it broke down.
the pinch a penny store that I bought it from, refuses to replace it and say that I have to wait for maytronics to ship it instead. It has been 10 days and still didn't get it.
This is unacceptable and wors customer service ever bot from pinch a penny in Baton Rouge LA and Maytronics, wherever the hell they are located, as you can't even get a phone number for them.

Maytronics is a HORRIBLE Company

I spent $99 for a NEW Remote and they sent me a damaged used one and wanted ME to pay to ship it back. They said that they would credit me the restocking fee! These people are a complete joke. Horrible. I will never buy anything from them again.

Maytronics is not trustable

The company does not stand behind their products. They send out refurbished products as new and refuse full refunds, instead demanding a 30% restocking fee. I feel this company is not honest and should be avoided.

Dolphin Refurbished Nautilus CC Plus

Dolphin Refurbished Nautilus CC Plus

TLDR: *Updated from one to two stars. Warranty work replaced the motor and turnaround, including shipping, took about two weeks. Not bad, guess I'll see how long this lasts. Sucks that I used to live within 30 minutes of the warranty center, ha. * Original: Worked great in a free form pool with both walls and flooring minus the steps and some of the waterline (as expected), for 2 months with limited use and consistent maintenance. But unless the warranty for a new product is different or includes shipping BOTH ways versus refurbished, I would look elsewhere or try to buy something that could be serviced local or returned easier (for stuff beyond a simple repair on the user end).

Worked great for 2 months. I ran it once a week, 2-3 times that day. I cleaned the filters after every run and cleared the impeller if needed while the power supply was kept in the shade. Everything stored inside the house after every use.

Then one day the vacuum wouldn't budge or make any sound of life. Power supply turned on and seemed to function like normal, even tested with a multimeter to see if it was putting out the specified power, which it was.
Made sure nothing was lodged in the tracks and the brushes spun freely with minimal effort. Tried different outlets and left the power supply and/or vacuum disconnected for hours at a time in an attempt to reset.

Fast forward, I have to pay UPS $50 (cheapest rate in my area) for a one way trip to the service center using original packaging. This is from Las Vegas to Phoenix, mind you. Currently waiting to see if everything will be fixed and if there are any added costs.

It'd be one thing if I got close to a full year of the 1 year warranty and ran the thing into the ground during the summer in 100+ degree weather without ever taking it inside or cleaning the filters.
But as stated above, it was during late winter in the desert of all things.

Looking around all the forums, these things will break down no matter if in ideal conditions or not. So read the fine print and learn from my mistake. I have never had to pay shipping for anything that required warranty service that was this expensive, especially this new into ownership. But I get that's because I usually do my homework on such things regarding brand quality.

Oh well must be why they got these things on a good sale for the last couple months...

I concur with reviews below

I concur with reviews below. After about 2.5 years and less than 500 hours use, and being perfectly maintained, the Dolphin stopped working. I shipped it to authorized dealer at a cost of $140 as per Maytronics instructions and received a repair quote for more than $900. I tried to contact Maytronics through chat, the only option to speak with anyone. I had a Kafka-esque exchange with « John » who basically told me to buzz off. Interesting to see refurbished models selling for $400 on the Maytronics web site. I’m sure the game plan is to get people to abandon repairs because of the price, they then fix them up for almost nothing, and resell them with a warranty! Total scam. Hateful company.

Buy a different brand

I purchased a Dolphin Maytronics robotic pool cleaner for $950, expecting a quality product for the price. Unfortunately, it completely stopped working after just 2.5 years. I sent it back to the company for repairs, only to be told it needed a new cord and an entirely new motor—costing an additional $600.

I decided to utilize my credit card's extended warranty program to cover the cost and asked Maytronics to hold the robot until I sorted out the payment. They assured me it was no problem. However, weeks later, I received an email stating they had gone ahead and “fixed” the robot and were shipping it back. When I got the robot, it was in worse condition than before. It wasn’t even reassembled, and several screws were missing!

When I called them to address this, they were completely unhelpful and offered no resolution.

This company is not worth the premium price, their products don’t last I would highly recommend avoiding Maytronics and spending your money elsewhere—this brand’s reputation for quality and service is severely overrated. Buyer beware!

We paid $858 for a Nautilus CC and it quit just under a year. We have been calling, emailing, filing out their supposed great service staff on-line form with no results. Horrible customer service. And we called several of their supposed dealers and all we get is "no we have to wait over 6 months for parts so we do not fix them anymore"

Don't buy maytronic dolphine cc plus

I brought a maytronic dolphine cc plus last May 2023 and have had alot of trouble with this unit. First the anti-swivel cord broke within a year. Now the track keeps coming off and I've replaced the tracks and pullys/bearing twice. It runs maybe 5 mins and come off. I previously had the dolphine cc before this unit and it was great until the lighting got it. I'd stick to simple pool cleaner not the top line that have a million thing to go wrong.

Maytronics is a corporation that puts…

Maytronics is a corporation that puts sales volume and profits ahead of valuing customer satisfaction. They knowingly sold Dolphin pool cleaners with faulty power cords that tangle into knots, preventing the device from doing what it should: cleaning the bottom of the pool.

For $500, you should be able to expect quality and better service. ** Maytronics is refusing to resolve my tangled mess, knowing full well that it was a horrible design, and the evidence is in the new-fangled “Swivel” they recently introduced with their new units. That's more than an abundance of evidence that they have known for a long time that the cords on the Explorer EX30 are junk! Yet, Maytonics refuses to demonstrate integrity by resolving my problem with “their” product, knowing it was junk.

Dolphin Robot doesn't last 1 year

I purchased the Dolphin Nautilus last July and it broke down before one year. It has been a nightmare dealing with Maytronics. They are difficult to contact and offer zero help. Their best suggestion was to ship my robot to some place I had never heard of AND I was to pay the shipping. This information came in an email. Never had one human being contact me. I finally found a dealer in my area that apparently does repairs. Do NOT buy anything made by Maytronics. Totally useless support and products.

I had a SmartKeen pool robot that was perfect for 11 years, finally it reached the end of its life so replaced it with a PoolUp robot.........absolute crap. My pool is 21' x 12' and even on a double cycle it doesn't cover all the pool. Purchased the dolphin Active 60 for $1800 the beginning of summer 2023. Would not work the beginning of summer 2024. Took it in and it already needs a new motor. I had an off brand that I paid $500 for that we had for 3 years with no issues. Gave it away when we thought we upgraded and they are still using it with no issues. Will not buy another dolphin!! Oh and it will take about 8 weeks to repair as the motor is on back order.

The Dolphin Advantage power supply doesn't last.

The Dolphin Advantage power supply already stopped working after less than 3 years. Maytronics way to resolve the problem is to pay them another $300 for a power supply with a warranty of 6 months.
Maytronics / Dolphin products are unreliable. Check the BBB on this company.

I bought a Dolphin E10 from Dohenys…

I bought a Dolphin E10 from Dohenys pools in the winter so I would hopefully get a better deal. After the season warmed, I tried using the vacuum only to find the basket that collects the debris has a hole in it. Dohenys would not cover it but recommended that I get with Maytronics. Maytronics told me they would send another in 5-10 days. Its now coming up on 2 months and I still dont have the part. Barbara at Dohenys has tried to give some help in dealing with Maytronics but that has not done anything ever. This place wants to sell their product but not make things good when anyone has issues and when you are buying a $500 product that cant be used, it is not good. I will never buy another product from this place or recommend anyone else to do so.

Explorer E70 & 5 Star warranty service

Im surprised to see low ratings on Maytronics. We have owned the Olphin Explorer E70 for 2 years. We live in Lake Havasu where summers reach 125 and never ending blow sand from the desert. This cleaner has.a full time job in our pool. I had a minor problem last year and filed a claim online and mailed it to a repair facility in my state. Was rented to me quickly. Ass summer begins the cleaner had a problem with the led panel. I fedex it Monday and it was returned to me today, Saturday, just 5 days later and with a new cable to boot!! The cleaner works great and when there is a newer model we will be buying from Maytronics. The warranty service we received says it all.

I was a dealer for Maytronics

I was a dealer for Maytronics. My M200 stopped working every year: I send it in via UPS. They lost the machine which was undoubtedly delivered to their facility in Duluth. I chatted with them, the chat person, a human agent, was dumb like hell, did nit read what i wrote asked me the same questions over and over again and finally quit the chat. Their customer line never takes any call. I met the managers and sales people from their headquarter in Israel on a pool trade fair. They were all very friendly and competent but they obviously don'T know what is going on in their US subsidiary.
